Four of us stayed in a two bedroom apartment in this group of apartments. Our first impression was very positive as Wiktoria, the manager on duty, was very welcoming and efficient with Check in and with our arrangements prior to coming. Our apartment was comfortable and contained all we needed for a five night stay. Air conditioning was provided in each bedroom and the living room and the bathroom and toilet rooms were clean and spacious. The highlight for us was having a balcony to have breakfast on each morning. It was lovely to be outside enjoying the family/community atmosphere at these times. The drawback of having tiny bedrooms was outweighed by these other benefits. Location was very good with easy access to cafes, public transport, laundromat, Jewish quarter.
Visited these apartments for 4 nights. They were adequate for all of our needs however i would probably not say deluxe! The reception were very friendly and helpful when you found them!! Our taxi driver dropped us at entrance to central plaza but we had no instructions on how to find reception. The apartments were very central in a bustling area but still quiet on a night. Excellent location as all landmarks were within walking distance
Pay attention where the apartment is situated exactly. The place was nice and clean, the stuff were friendly and available 24*7 for us. We really had a great time and will love to come back, lots of bars and shops nearby.
CONS - Extremely disappointed with the accommodation as it was not at all as described and certainly not deluxe or 4 star !!!! . Air con was only in the living area and not in the bedroom - this should have been made clear on the website !! No desk in the apartment, so nowhere to sit and do makeup/hair, no DVD player and the bed was definitely not queen size - again all these were in the room description but were lacking !!! Only one mirror in the whole apartment which was in the bathroom. Shower was positioned too low on the wall so could not stand under it but also we were unable to use it without holding it in out hands because as soon as it was switched on it spun round and soaked the whole bathroom. Scuff marks throughout the whole apartment on the walls and floors, very shabby looking - needed a complete update. The wood on the balcony door was all split. There were post it notes on the biggest window in the bedroom saying "DO NOT OPEN" which we wouldn't have been able to do anyway as there were no handles !!! Not very useful when there is no air conditioning and the temperature was 38 degrees !!! I feel as though we were put in an apartment that was not really fit for sale. PROS - Good location and within walking distance to bars , restaurants and a lot of main sights.Metro station nearby.Good supermarket called Primo at the end of the road near the metro station.
Enjoyed our time here. Very central. 2 balconies so good views. Apartments had everything we needed but wouldn't say deluxe. Worth it for cost and centrality. Nice restaurants near by. Close to tour bus and underground
This apartment is well situated in the heart of a very trendy area. Lots of restaurants and nightlife around here, yet the apartment in quiet. A/C works great. Apartment in clean. Staff is very informative and helpful.
Viktoria is the most helpful, friendly person with excellent Engish. The apartments are in a fantastic area, surrounded by huge numbers of bars, restaurants, grocery shops and public transport. The apartment is well equiped with double bed (not 2 singles pushed together) a bit firm, and a washing machine, wifi is fast and reliable, fully equiped kitchen. Only 1 English tv channel (CNN) but that's Hungary.
Stayed in a 3 bedroom Apartment on the top floor. The room was very comfortable but was in need of some TLC. It seemed some of the rooms had been slightly refurbished but the bedroom had been forgotten about. The curtains were tatty and hemmed with pins. This was also the hottest room in the Apartment so really could have done with the outside shutters that are on the other 2 bedroom windows. There is air-conditioning in every room which was great and an outdoor patio from each bedroom as well...the 2nd bedroom had it's own door also leading out to the dead weed patio area...this would be an even more awesome area if the weeds were kept under control and just had the stones that were underneath. The television had satellite but the connection HMD1 wasn't working, either that or it was plugged into the incorrect sockets...we didn't play around with any of the plugs as we didn't want to mess the stations up. The wifi didn't work when we arrived but Viktoria played around with the connection point in the main bedroom and got it working....this point was out of the wall socket so that wouldn't have helped. There were also no power points apart from the one that had the modem connected to it....a few days later we found a power board under the bed. There needs to be more points in all the rooms. The location of the Apartment was perfect...easy walk to the Danube and also into some of the night bar areas. There are a lot of homeless near the Apartments but they weren't an issue, they pretty much kept to themselves...the amount of security and police around probably helped. There is limited toiletries, no laundry detergent for the washing machine. Getting into the Apartment wasn't always easy as the key took some jiggling to open the door but we managed it in the end. Would definitely stay here again if and when we return to Budapest.
We spent 2 days in beautiful Budapest. We choose this place for perfect location for us: 5 minutes to Deak Ferencz Ter Metro station which is a connection for all 3 metro lines. The place is also very close to Vaci Utca Chain Bridge and Danube, Stephan Platz and the famous restaurant RetesHaz, there is a Starbucks across the street and lots of shopping opportunities, to mention few options you have around. The room was spacious with 2 double beds and a nice balcony. The internet worked well but air conditioning needs a little maintenance in order to function properly. Amenities in the bathroom were not closed to a 5 star location and also the cleaning as if you walk in the room with white socks you'll mot have them white too long. For a convenient short stay I would recommend these apartments. They are ranked as 5 stars but I will not give more than 4 stars. If the price for a 5 stars will be OK compared to other 5 stars properties, if you look among 4 stars locations you would consider this a bit expensive. A lot of places to eat and coffee shops around. The bus to airport stops near by and costs 6 euro / pers. The place has parking place which is another plus. Overall, for lower price these apartments should be consider as a good place to stay in the heart of Budapest. For sport as there is no gym or pool I would suggest a great run on the Danube walking path and up to Citadela and back - overall 1 hour perfect morning routine with amazing views as well 👍 Enjoy
A friendly and informative welcome from Victoria. Plenty of information regarding where to find things and how to get there was provided to us on our arrival. The apartments were beautiful and so well equipped we could have lived there full time. Everything we could possibly have needed was in place. The bed was comfy and decent pillows provided. A little restaurant is within the "mall" downstairs and does a lovely breakfast amongst other meals for those who don't wish to self cater. There is a supermarket open 24/7 straight opposite. The location is great for loads of restaurants and all attractions are within walking distance....i don't walk very well but walked everywhere here! Loved the apartment, the people and the city. I would highly recommend these apartments.
