cold at arrival (i filled the hole in window for clim with a pillow), globally cheap equipment, terrible bed and noisy mezzanine (structural problem). well situated in Town. I had electricity problem and shower drain, very kind intervention from manager within less than 24 hours.

Zentrale Lage

Es war ein schöner Aufenthalt, dessen Empfang schon sehr freundlich und problemlos verlief. Es wurden uns noch ein paar Empfehlungen ausgesprochen, wo man z.B. gut essen kann usw. Vom Wetter her war es ideal mit etwas bewölkung für größere Wanderungen zur Burg und zur Freiheitsstatue. Sonst ist es aber schon sehr warm in dieser Zeit in Budapest. Schöne Reiseziele sind neben der Burg, das Parlament, der Heldenplatz und die Thermalbäder. Auch gibt es viele schöne Ecken mit kleinen Kaffees und guten Restaurants. Es ist schön die Donau entlang zu gehen, wenn man mag, kann man auch eine Schifffahrt machen, das haben wir aber nicht in Ansrpuch genommen. Die Innenstadt ist so wie in vielen westlichen Städten und es ist für jeden eigentlich was zu finden, dabei ist halt auf den Wechselkurs zu achten, da einige Sachen dann auch sehr günstig zu haben sind. Man kommt mit den Öffis gut zu den Sehenswürdigkeiten, bzw. an den Hauptstraßen kann und der Donau kann man sich gut in der Richtung orientiern. Dabei ist es auch spannend die kleinen Gassen bzw. Straßen abseits der ganzen Touristenscharen zu entdecken. Man muss nicht auf die ganzen Bewertungen der Restaurants schauen, versucht einfach mal Dinge zu entdecken, die Preise sind echt human und man ist einfach im Urlaub. Wir sind in verschiedene Restaurants und Cafes eingekehrt und hatten fast nur positive Erlebnisse:) Besonders schön sind die Abende draußen in den Bars gewesen, bei angehmer warmer Temperatur. Ideale Stadtwohnung, nicht geeignet für kleine Kinder wegen der Treppe im Zimmer, aber für 2 - 3 Personen optimal. Ruhig obwohl total zentral. Immer wieder!
