Not clean bathroom, no carpets, and than every move of chair can be hear everywhere. Breakfast was very poor, defenetly not 4 stars. At 9 o clock no bread. Poor wifi. Noisy elevator in the middle od atrium. Bar was closed at 21.45. Smoke sensor was covered with menstrual pad...
We came here by a tour company. But this hotel was ridiculously bad. They force you to drink tea and coffee in a soup cup. The personnel was very rude to us when we wanted a proper coffee cup to drink from. Also the breakfast is bad.
I stayed in this hotel for 2 nights together with my wife. Definitely, this is not a 4 star hotel, but is in between 3 and 4 stars; size of room was big, room and bathroom were clean. Breakfast was quite variate and the restaurant was clean. Wi Fi was quite weak in our room, but we were able to call friends and family; the Wi Fi signal was stronger in the central area, near routers.Car parking under hotel is 13 Euro/night (front desk guy informed us from beginning); we left our car there because there are not many parking places around. Overall it is a good hotel and for the money we paid I think this was the best option in this area.
We came to stay for a night in this hotel with a group in bus tour. The attitude of the hotel was awful! We had a night ride here for 30 hours and dreamt about having some rest, taking shower and get ready for a city tour. We came to hotel at 13:30 and were told the numbers are not ready. We asked for having a dinner in their restaurant not to waste time in waiting, but were told its impossible, cause they have a dinner for some group. They had plenty of food left and still they told, we can't pay and eat. We got only a few numbers at 14:00 for a whole group of 57 people, the rest had to wait. We waited until 15:00 and were told the check-in for groups are from 16:00 so just wait. We asked about the late check-out instead, because we pay for 12 hours, but were told we wouldn't get it, they have a rule for check-out at 12:00. We were staying at reception and the administrator gave a free number to other guests!!! And told us they are simple guests, not a group! The groups have to wait (!!!). When we asked for a book for a review, he told they don't have it. After someone came, he gave us a book, but totally new and empty! He told the other one just ended and he can't show it! The administration lies you in the eyes! We don't understand what is the reason of such unfair attitude and such uncomfortable conditions. We strictly don't recommend this hotel!
Wi Fi in hotel is very, very poor, bath is not so clean. I asked on reception to change light which was blinking and during my stay nothing happened. If you want some quite you want get it cause you can hear everything what is going in halls. Would not recommend.
The food is absolutely terrible, in quality and in quantity. The staff is always rude without any reason. The rooms are fine but not for a 4 star hotel, in particular the bathroom. No balconies, but that's ok.
We arrived at this hotel after the one we booked not being up to standard. We arrived early and was given the keys and allowed upto our rooms. Everything was clean. The rooms are large. Safe in the room, wardrobe with ample space. A well stocked mini bar was also there.. although not for long! Breakfast was lovely. A really good choice of pastries, cereals, meats and cheeses and cooked food. The room and food were clean and well presented. I can't comment on coffee as we don't drink it. The staff were always on hand.. so helpful, polite and friendly. 5 star staff. Our 2 toddlers were also happy and welcome at the hotel. Anyone with small children knows this is not always the case! The location is a little out of town. But 5 mins in a taxi was our choice. If you turn left from the hotel there's a great pizza place turn right for black cab burgers and salads and wraps. At the end of the street there's a spar with a wide range of things. Anywhere doing anything healthy was sadly lacking. I wouldn't advise turning left at the end of the street as this takes you out of town and away from everything but if it's raw budapest you'd be looking for head that way! Turn right you pass a gelado and various shops.. a decent walk and your in town by the river. I'd recommend the hotel and beautiful budapest and will go back when the little ones are older as sadly there's not much for them to do.
We been just 1 night ,so I can't say to much about this hotel! Is pretty, clean, good size room , clean bathroom ! Not sure about other service that they do in this place! For us was good, next to our friends house
We spend there five days it was a vary dingy hotel the staff was very rude, the towels was dirty and the room had a terrible smell of moth .the breakfast was disgusting also the water had an awful smell and a brown color
i stayed at this hotel 3 nights.the location is very far from the center. the hotel is old and out date . the room was ok but with a bad smell of mold from the bathroom. the breakfast was terrible. when i came to the breakfast at 7:30 all the food finished and the man there was very rude and treat us so bad. when we asked him to refill the food he started to shout on us. there was no cups for coffee, no bread, no cheese, just nothing! it was all the 3 mornings. i definitely don't recommend this hotel.
