"Employees were very nice and that is THE ONLY kind thing I can say. Do NOT BE FOOLED BY THE PICS OR THE STATED AMENITIES. PLEASE do not book this resort if you’re looking for a great place to stay. This was a trailer experience for a Ritz Carlton price. 1. Room had a great view/bal cont and that is what you pay for. The actual room was very run down, musty, rough sheets, hard pillows, and very loud AC. We were in a suite that was spacious but no utensils, paper towels,soap, cups in the kitchen. 2. Called for a spare blanket because the ‘extra’ one was made of foam, smelled, and was itchy. They never me came! 3. Prior to arrival I received texts offering upgraded items some for a fee and some free. I ordered several items including breakfast, champagne, cookies, extra pillows, and room cleaning. I received NONE of those. Even called three times to have our room cleans and all they did was drop off towels. I even went into the lobby to ask again because it was nearly 5pm and they hadn’t come. The two ladies in the lobby were clearly annoyed and one asked the said to the other ‘What do they want?’ As though I was bothering them. 4. I was told the boat between resorts runs all day and after waiting 40 mins, I asked the folks working at the Kayak rental for an arrival time. They assured me it was coming soon and we waited another 20 mins. I then called the other resort who told me the boat was not running anymore. DONT STAY HERE!!!! We could have cruised for the same price!!"

"Beautiful property! The staff was wonderful! We did have a small issue with housekeeping, there is a room service tray left by our front door upon check-in from prior guest and not picked up for two days. Also, we had asked for additional towels that never came. We will definitely be back though, as the location and resort itself is wonderful."

"Overall, the room was clean and renovated. The checking process was a little bit of an issue...given that our room /unit was given to somebody else, but eventually the other party was willing to trade with us. It would have been helpful ahead of time to let customers know that the unit or room does not come with coffee and you would either have to buy coffee before coming to the hotel or plan ongoing across the resort to the check in offi ce. The unit did have a lovely kitchen and coffee maker that we couldn't use because we didn't have coffee with us. Otherwise it was a lovely resort."
