Even if we got the penthouse suite, the room was pretty bad with curtains that need changing. Couldn’t find anyone at reception. Door opening system is old and doesn’t work. Not up to standard very sorry
Excellent hotel with charming atmosphere with care for clients and their needs. Prices very reasonable with buffet breakfast included. Altogether very good! Very well situated between city center and near highways to other cities and Brussels airport.
The hotel was clean and pleasant, but def. not worth five stars. Breakfast extensive, but the eggs, bacon, etc.. were cold. Windows didn't open properly. Way too expensive for what you get... Bathroom was clean but a bit worn out.
The Rooms are a very good size. The rooms are very clean and well equipped. Free wifi in all parts of hotel. The Restaurant has a limited menu but very nice food with great service. Thus is an ideal place to stay for a short break.
Although not very close to the city center, the location is nonetheless excellent. Public transport (tram, bus, and subway) is literally on the door step. It is easily accessible by car too, offering safe and easy parking at a decent price. The "Parc du Cinquantenaire" is about a ten minutes walk away. There are a few good places for dining and having a drink that can be reached on foot within a couple of minutes. Despite the proximity to a major traffic hub (roundabout), and although we had a room facing it, the windows cancelled out all noise. The beds are very comfortable. Our room was not exactly well lit, owing to a dark wallpaper and the lack of ceiling lights, but that's a matter of taste and not a big issue. In any event there were reading lights for each bed. The breakfast buffet in my opinion leaves nothing to be desired with good value for money.
Moved from the NH Carrefours de l'europe hotel after a bad experience. Nice welcome, good front dest. Smallish boutique style hotel. Room 403. Comfy and well furnished. Lovely bed and sofa. Got a feather pillow. Good room service. Room was at front. Some noise from teams but windows keep it to a level that doesn't disturb. Nice rather old style room with dark wood flooring and heavy drapes. Great breakfast. A few potential improvements: - an accessible socket on the top of the desk as I had to crawl under the desk to plug in my laptop. - Same needed by the bed to charge phone. - a new chair at the desk. The one provided was too low and very uncomfortable - wallpaper very scuffed and marked - needs replacing or marks being painted over but still very elegant and comfy room. Excellent bathroom, amenities and lovely shower. All spotlessly clean. Staff charming, welcoming and helpful.
I booked this one in a hurry without too much thinking, but the stay has been one of the best hotel experience I had. The hotel shows with its own glance which does not fade away with time, room is spascious and elegant. The bed is very comfortable, breakfest is also very nice, not too many unnecessay choices, but each one very well prepared. I will stay there again if I visit Brussls again.
Very good hotel, great location, nice decor and good service. Also good parking, easy to access off the roundabout, but on a small road. Would recommend for leisure or business visits - good rate for Brussels. Only downside was the bartender - not the friendliest
I know this hotel from late 90s and it was always good place to stay while travelling to Brussels. It is not member of the Small Luxury Hotels anymore but it is till very good with a good service, a good quality of sleep and well located. Good to see they keep good standard here.
Solo traveller, desk staff help sort out early morning taxi ,friendly staff and everyone was happy to help. Rooms clean ,slightly dark, but good size. Breakfast buffet was good .I recommend this hotel . Location is quite but easy access to metro stations.
