Family Vacation

We enjoyed our self!! The beds were very comfy. Make sure you take some bottle water to drink. Also, I think from water sitting in the hot water heater made the water smell of sulfur, but after we let it run for a little bit the water didn’t smell as bad. Only negative thing I could say is hot tub isn’t covered and can’t sit and enjoy rain or snow while being in hot tub.

Beautiful unique cabin

Everything at the Nature House was fantastic. Furnishings are lovely and beds are comfy. Bring your own water because the well water has a "distinct" smell if you are not used to that kind of thing. Overall great place to stay!

Modern cabin next to town and the lake

Great property, clean, and simple modern design. We stayed here for 2 days and never had an issue. It’s right outside of town and only a few minutes drive to the lake.

Had a great time on our annual trip!

We visit Hochatown every October as a family of 5. We opted for a new cabin this year and were super excited to visit The Nature House! Price was appropriate, house was clean and the outdoor space was perfect! The downside, not a major deal, but the kids were super bummed there was no video game (pics on listing showed an arcade type Moral Combat video game). Probably should take those pics down. The hot water ran out fast. The dishwasher did not work properly. I spent 3 days doing dishes. I hate doing dishes, lol, especially on vacation. The garbage disposal kept backing up into the sink. It rained almost everyday so we had to use the dryer a few times. The dryer took FOREVER to dry. We also chose a cabin months ago that allowed pets to bring our dog and paid a $50 pet deposit. The week of our trip, I double checked the listing and it said 'no pets'. I assumed I must've booked a place that didn't allow pets on accident and we were traveling 4 hours from home so we opted to arrange for a pet sitter and come without him. We arrived and there was a posted sign on the fridge saying 'We love our 4 legged friends but keep pets off furniture'. So, we could've brought our dog. :( It was a great time, great cabin aside from those minor inconveniences. It is a little smaller than the pics make it seem but it was perfect for us. We loved every second of the outdoor area and the hammock was magical.

The Nature Cabin was beautiful! We really enjoyed our stay

We were there for a high school bass fishing tournament. Parking was easy and had enough room for our bass boats. Great property

Nice property but pictures aren’t accurate.

Property was nice with some great outdoor space. The cabin can be cooled in the middle of August to a really cool temperature. The main problem was the interior had been completely redecorated to a more traditional style and I had specifically chosen this cabin because of the furniture style and seating. The new traditional couches didn’t seat all 5 adults in a way that was comfortable. While the cabin worked out fine I was very disappointed with the change in decor. All interior images need to be updated.
