Needed somewhere on the North side of Bristol for a night and this fitted the bill. Although visible from an adjacent large roundabout entrance wasn't the easiest to find. Despite being near the road and our room being opposite the lift the room was surprisingly quite and slept very well Room clean and bed comfortable. Thought we'd only been given one set of towels but we found a second set tucked away, too late for our shower- enjoyed shower all the same hot and good power. Staff helpful and pleasant. Linked to IGH reward account despite me not having details.

The family and I were visiting Bristol Uni and decided to stay over to take in the delights of Bristol. The Hotel was situated in an ideal place not in town but not far away. The receptionist was really helpful even advising us that at Frankie and Bennys across the way (where we said we had booked for dinner) that if we took our room key we would get a discount - very useful! The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. Breakfast was a little crowded but there was plenty to go round, with top ups coming through all the time. The food was buffet style, with both continental and English breakfast options. The only downside was the drinks machine. The queue for the hot drinks took way too long and could really have done with another one to service the guests. Enjoyable visit though and would definitely stay there again if in Bristol again.

Basic comfortable hotel for business or short stay with breakfast included. Courteous staff. Main issue was an overcrowded ca parking but overflow parking allowed in the restaurant opposite the hotel. Overall a quite place even though close to the carriageway

This Hotel is really nice the location isn't pretty but the Shopping in Bristol is very good it's a lot of walking but taken at an easy pace it is very enjoyable myself Husband Daughter , Brother & Sister-In-Law had a lovely weekend the Hotel was very comfortable & the staff were all really helpful & friendly the Breakfast was very good with plenty of choice there is an added number of rooms being added so there is work being carried out i do think they will need to sort out some more parking spaces as this was limited all in all it was that good we have all re-booked for another long weekend in November for some needed Xmas shopping i would highly recommend.

Trip Advisor comments mentioned the cheerful staff and from the moment we entered this was true. A great reception and a well serviced room which was spotless, quiet and very comfortable. The sheets and towels were excellent quality and even when we used the stairs rather than the lift everything was spotlessly clean. The breakfast was busy but constantly replenished and offered more than we had expected. Free papers and a sile at reception again added to the feeling that guests are valued. We felt that car parking was possibly going to be a problem when the additional rooms come on line but we left feeling that Holiday Inn have certainly got it right in every aspect. Well done

Hotel has on-site parking. It's very good value compared to other hotels in Bristol, especially since it includes Breakfast as well. The room with clean and comfortable and the extra kids need was a good sized. Bathroom was clean and shower was good. The Breakfast was very busy since the hotel was full when we stayed. The selection was basic but adequate and included cereal and hot food. We had a very comfortable stay and would stay there again if we were to visit Bristol in the future.

Stayed here for one night as my family and I were visiting my son & partner who live at Bradley Stoke & next day were visiting Bristol Zoo. Location very good, supermarkets and other food chains nearby, and next day visiting the Zoo it took us about 20mins by car to get there. Hotel clean, good breakfast, room a bit small, (I was sharing it with my two grandsons), but it was only for one night. Very quiet and good air con. Overall very good.

Another good stay. Even though you are having work done you are keeping the standard. See you again soon I hope. Sensible breakfast and good coz I don't do sausages I had to be good and eat cereal! Great for Abbey Wood MOD site.

Stayed here for one night for a stop off mid journey, location is excellent as it's s 5 min walk to an outlet with many food chains. The hotel is clean and tidy with good service, the exception was breakfast as we had to wait for knives and forks, replenishment of food etc, it was self service which also meant you had to be quick to get a table and keep it whilst queuing for food which made it a little stressful. The rooms were small for a family compared to a premier inn as were the beds, the aircon was better! Got the room with breakfast for a family of 4 from booking .com for £100 inc breakfast so can't complain.

Stayed here for a couple of nights for the balloon festival. We had left it late to book & so thought that it would be a long way out, but having taken advise from a member of staff, found it a short trip into town by bus. This was a great option as parking would have been hard to find. Room was comfortable, clean & quiet. A bonus was that we could take our dog. Would book again for next year
