Stayed on a Friday night as we attended a 100th birthday party on the Saturday. Clean room comfy bed but rwally hard pillows which meant a disturbed night sleep . Breakfast ws good as always .Pleasant and helpful staff .Would stay again but take my own pillow

Excellent hotel very friendly efficient staff lovely breakfast would definitely recommend and hope to stay here again when visiting Bristol We asked to change rooms as the sofa bed was a bit lumpy and we were moved into another room within 30mins nothing was too much trouble for the staff 😊

I stayed here for 3 nights the rooms were up to the normal high standard of HIE in particular the towels were superb. There are no plug points close to the bed which is a bit of a disadvantage. The breakfast on Saturday morning was a disaster i think that just not enough staff were present to cope with the large volume of messy customers. This sort of spoiled my stay.

Had to stay here for business. Conveniently close to Bristol parkway station but a good 20 minute drive from Bristol city centre - £23 cab ride. The room was clean and functional, basic but fine. For its location it's expensive and next time I would stay in central Bristol instead for the price. The breakfast was nice with good choice. If you have to work nearby it's convenient.

Stayed here for a night with my family during our visit to SS Great Britain. There is plenty of free parking onsite. There is a pub next door onsite and a massive Sainsburys in walking distance. We stayed in a family room. Our room had all the basics and there was juts enough space for the 4 of us. This hotel seems to be popular among families. It was evident during breakfast and it was reassuring. Great value for £75 per night for a family of four with parking and breakfast included. Would stay here again as I would love to visit SS Great Britain.

Stayed here in a family room with 2 adults in a bed and 2 teenagers on the sofa bed. The room was decent, clean and tidy, comfortable bed with a feather duvet and a choice of pillows also a good power shower. Large towels, hairdryer, iron and ironing board are already in the room which can be handy. The sofa bed didn't look or feel particularly comfortable but they both slept on it fine all night and I think the hotel website says it's suitable for children up to 12yrs? Cooked breakfast was ok, with only bacon, sausages, scrambled eggs and beans available, to be honest the beans tasted cheap. Of course the selection of continental was also available, along with hot and cold drinks, which I felt was quite decent. We would definitely stay here again, good, friendly, clean, value hotel.

If you’re here on business locally, this is the best place to stay, I think. Prices are never cheap but there is always car-parking space, the rooms are clean and well equipped for business stays and the breakfasts better now than they used to be. Fox den has improved its menu too.

I have stayed here a few times recently. The hotel is dog friendly, with some rooms available to those travelling with pets. The hotel was clean and service was quick. There is plenty of parking. Breakfast was good for a Holiday Inn Express, and although other meal options are limited in the hotel, there is a pub with good food a few steps from the front door. As somewhere to find a bed for the night, it was exactly what I wanted.

After asking if the hotel was able to call me their approved cab firm and getting on the journey I thought it was strange the driver had his fare meter switched off. He charged £22 for a trip to wedding venue that some other relatives arrived same time as us on same journey cost £9.60 After I fed this back to the hotel the said would investigate however there emailed response slipped up! The admitted they get the same pay deal with a number of cabs so this was usual. They admitted they get a back hander for feeding the taxi firm and they tried backtracking saying this is nothing to do with them. Ripped Off so beware

This is a very nice hotel. The staff are very friendly and helpful with information on the surrounding areas the breakfast was good with plenty of choice, the rooms were very clean and tidy we would happily stay again.
