The room was billed as a studio however I have stayed in much more well appointed studio apartments for less money. The bed took space off being able to sit at the table and somehow you got round the table to open the blinds. Not a great bed. Bathroom was spacious with laundry but again very ordinary. The desk was open at limited times and guests wandered about finding the key deposit. We could not make the wifi work and no desk to consult. Private secure parking was good.
The Apartment is good to stay as it is relatively clean with parking and internet services. The location is superb with a supermarket and cafe and bakery on the ground floor. There are excellent restaurants and bars across the street and this makes the place desirable to stay . The units have basic amenities available and aligned with the price which is reasonable . This is a no smoking hotel.
Stayed here as a stop over on the way to Sunshine Coast. Travelling with my 15 year old son. Booked a 1 bedroom apartment. Apartment very roomy however the balcony was not really an apartment. Location was good with a Coles near buy and some cafes. Very dissapointed with the amount of traffic noise that kept us awake. Beds not comfortable and had a horrible smell. Maintain and cleanliness left a bit to be desired. Nit very secure and service very average
We had a two bedroom unit and the furnitures and facilities are good, can go back again next time and I can recommend it, across gabba stadium and shops around. Easy to check in as well, Coles, cafe shops, hotel and easy to catch a taxi.
I stayed here for business and the rooms are great and it's clean and has what you need. I was on the second floor and to be honest I don't know why they even bothered including the balcony, it was 1m deep. Maybe less? My biggest gripe was lack of security. The entrance to the hotel was basically always unlocked so anyone could walk in off the street. The door doesn't auto lock unless you actually yank it shut which obviously most people didn't. Plus my door had no deadlock and no chain lock which I really didn't like as a woman staying on my own The dishwasher was also broken and the laundry sink and bathroom vanity are one and the same. The gym stunk of body odor all the time and they have no free weights .... you can barely call the facility a gym tbh. The pool is also a let down. It's okay, but definitely not for anyone who likes to spend any amount of time in their accom other than sleeping there.
We booked a two bed apartment for the family, spacious well appointed room with full kitchen. Good central location opposite the Gabba Oval. Only downside was the traffic noise and cleaning could be better, layer of dusk on fridge and aircons dirty. Overall good stay at a reasonable price
These units are plain but comfortable and clean for the price. The location is fine if you are happy to catch a bus to the city or a cab. Southbank is 2 stops away. Also it has a secure carpark for your car. I stayed for 3 weeks and it has a Coles underneath, hotel, restaurants and coffee shops. So it is easy to obtain food.
We stayed here for a 5 day function at the Gabba. It was very handy for this. The room was adequate for two, with a small kitchen, washing machine and dryer and a table to sit at. The linen was not replaced during our 5 day stay, and I would have preferred if it was. The aircon was loud but covered the traffic noise. A fire alarm went off during the night and we all trooped outside about 5 am. It is not handy to the CBD, but if you're here for the Gabba, it's fine. I'll probably use it again.
Very spacious one bedroom apartment with quality fittings, full kitchen, washer and dryer, excellent amenities and comfortable bed. Quiet air-con. Total value for money. The staff were excellent. Great location, with heaps of shopping and restaurants downstairs and close by. Excellent pool and gym area too. It is also one of the cleanest apartments we have ever stayed in. Can't speak highly enough of this accommodation. Gabba Central will always be our Brisbane stop-over, whether for 2 nights or 2 weeks.
Stayed here for 2 nights, due to problem with Booking.com there was an overcharge. Staff claimed they would fix this but instead of fixing they took money direct from our credit card soon as we gave it to them for supposed $100 deposit. They refuse to refund the overcharge even they they blatantly lied to us that they would refund.Do not trust these people - they lie. In addition they expect guests to clean up own rooms, never heard of a hotel anywhere in the world that expects guests to take out their own garbage and clean room or be fined.
