The host never responded with check-in details for us to access the property. I used the "contact your host" feature four days in a row with no response. I even tried calling with no answer. We ended up needing to call VRBO and completely change plans.

Good communication, with host, due to unavoidable circumstances we were relocated, the property we stayed in was fine , easy access to all amenities, good location, had basic facilities, would have been nice to have had a few basic things on arrival , such as milk for tea/coffee, more towels, and no shaving plug for any male that would stay! Overall was pleasant stay,

We were informed 3 hours due to arrival that the apartment wasn't available and we would have to be moved to another property then the host wanted us to send additional identity details via the Vrbo messenger app which isn't possible nearly 3 hours after the initial message from the host we finally got the new apartment information.We had been in Brighton half a hour not knowing if we had anywhere to stay which ruined our first night the apartment was clean and tidy and very smart but our original apartment had 2 proper beds the new apartment just had one bed and sofa beds that where very uncomfortable very disappointed in having our first evening ruined maybe the host should perhaps think that maybe more notice than 3 hours to be told the apartment is unavailable would have been helpful.

Our original booking was cancelled and the property changed a few hours before check-in. The host was then requesting personal details and asking for it to be uploaded through the VRBO chat messenger which wasn't possible or to send it via Whatsapp to a number in India. The last minute changes and requests made the check-in stressful and made us doubt the legitimacy of the host. After speaking to VRBO customer support they ensured me that it was legitimate and the host was a premium host. In the end we got the check-in details for the replacement accommodation. The flat was clean, spacious and well-equipped. The mattress on the bed was terrible - soft and you could feel the springs poking through. The location is central and easy access to the beachfront/pier and the lanes.

Nous étions 3 adultes de 23 à 54 ans pour un séjour de 2 nuits1ère très mauvaise surprise : nous apprenons -par mail la veille de notre arrivée- que l'appartement réservé et payé depuis des mois n'est pas disponible... Nous contactons les propriétaires qui nous propose un relogement que nous avons accepté (pas le choix vu le délai de prévenance !) Pour ne pas arranger les choses la communication ne s'est faîte uniquement que via la messagerie d'Abritel et ensuite par WhatsApp. ( le n de téléphone de l'annonce ne répondant évidement pas...). Bref, nous avons été relogé dans un appartement situé dans un immeuble usé et "douteux" du centre ville : hall d'entrée sale, boites aux lettres cassées...dans l'appartement pas de rideau (que des stores vénitiens cassés ou en fin de vie), fenêtres ne s'ouvrant pas (fermées à clef il faisait pas loin de 30 degrés !!!), un échafaudage en guise de vue juste devant la fenêtre...pour la vaisselle : 2 fourchettes, 2 petites cuillères : pas de chance nous étions 3...pratique... pour la literie : un lit double correct et un lit "chauffeuse" totalement inconfortable pour un adulte...Et je ne parle pas du bruit ou de l'ascenseur en panne.En résumé nous n'aurions jamais sélectionné un hébergement comme celui-ci pour passer un week-end de vacances ! Bref un remboursement me semble plus que légitime.Cordialement
