Great location, excellent place

I had a great time using Monika’s place as a base of operations for hiking and biking in Pisgah. Great location too, very reasonable distance to all the best Brevard has to offer.

Comfortable and cozy. Perfect place to come home to after hiking. Bed was super cozy and shower was my favorite. Loved the outside area also. Great location!

Quiet and Convenient Location

This little second floor one bedroom apartment is very conveniently located off the main streets of Brevard. It was very quiet and easy to get in and out for sightseeing the areas. We attended several Brevard Music Festival concerts and watch their rehearsals. We also enjoyed the hiking in the areas. We had a great time at Brevard.

Quick get away

This listing is in a great location very close to the Lumber Yard District. Super convenient to hiking and biking trails as well. The place is not fancy but very comfortable. I highly recommend it.

Great Stay

clean, comfy and cozy. great stay and would stay again. being close to downtown Brevard a huge plus. Was surprised to see this as part of a quad-plex. Entry door needs a little adjustment, difficult to enter exit but also adds to safety if unwanting visitors try to enter..

Great landing spot in Brevard

I really enjoyed my stay at Cree’s Retreat. While it’s not really walkable to the downtown area, it’s a very short drive and it was always easy to find parking. There’s also groceries close by so it was overall a convenient location. The apartment is super cute and looks like the pictures. The kitchen was well-equipped, the bed was comfortable, and the host was great at communicating. I would definitely stay here again.

Excellent location, cozy house

Clean, modern, & attractive. Both beds comfortable, 2 sitting areas (1 in large kitchen), front porch very pleasant. Only 1 negative: a strong floral smell in sheets, towels, house in general. Most people won't mind.

Refuge from the Hurricane

My daughter's apartment in Asheville was made unlivable by Hurricane Helene. Monika worked with us to rent the property for a month while my daughter got back on her feet. Her regular local check-ins with my daughter helped us all through a tough situation.

Good place but a bit small

The unit was very clean and comfortable, the bed is super soft. My only complaints were it is pretty small, I did not hear back in response to my questions to the owner, and you have to walk across the deck to get into the unit and it was icy and a bit risky. Otherwise it was fully equipped, good, clean bathroom and shower, and a good functioning kitchen

Just Right

My husband and I made an unscheduled trip to Brevard, and we were grateful to find this place available. It was just what we needed. Although we didn’t use much of the kitchen, it seemed to be pretty well stocked, and the bed was comfortable! Parking was easy. There are several apartments in the building (house), and the units are differentiated by the color of the door! Love that! We hardly encountered any other guests and felt like we were the only people there. The space is cozy, but nicely organized and efficient. Our screen door gets hung up, and was very hard to open. Our host was always accessible.

Solo traveler

Solo female traveler with small pup so I get nervous about feeling safe, but this was a great location within a very affordable price range. This apartment is a part of a house that has been divided into two or three apartments, however, don’t let that deter you as it was amazingly quiet, with adequate space, large yard, safe neighborhood clean to downtown options with a short drive. The owner was responsive, the place was clean, bed was extremely comfortable and shower was hot! It was so peaceful at night and the neighborhood feels very safe! Why pay hotel prices when you can have an entire apartment to be comfy! The only thing is if you’re a traveler who is not able to manage stairs this isn’t the best option as you have to go up stairs to get to the entrance, but the owner has other options that are more accessible. Great experience, price and time in Brevard!!I would stay again! Thanks Monika!

Great location

We stayed 2 nights between Christmas and New Years while passing through town. The apartment is small but very cute and clean. We had 2 children with us. The futon is small and not large enough for more than 1 child. I had let our host know ahead of time who was coming with me (2 adults, 2 children ages 7 and 9) and that we would be arriving very late at night due to getting caught in a snowstorm in TN. Upon arrival sleeping arrangements were tricky but we made due with a pallet on the floor for one child and one on the futon. They were not thrilled, but they did sleep. We made due and were out and about most of our time in lovely Brevard so it wasn’t a huge issue, but one to mention if you are traveling with more than 2 adults. Queen bed was very comfortable!! Keurig pods and wine were excellent touches.

Great location

We enjoyed the space and would stay again. Cozy and clean. We were visiting family in Brevard and was perfect location from downtown and wasn’t far from waterfalls and other great attractions. Bed was comfy and the wine was delish! Thank you for a great stay!

Perfect for our weekend stay!

My husband is a cyclist and rode in the Assault on the Carolinas. We were looking for a place not too far from the start in downtown Brevard. This little place was perfect for the two of us. Monika really thought of everything we could need and her communication was first rate. Highly recommend!

Cute, comfortable, convenient!

We enjoyed our long weekend stay in this cute, well-accessorized home. Convenient to downtown (not walkable, but just a couple minutes’ drive away) and local hiking. This vrbo had great little touches, including pretty decor, nice plush towels, and one of the more comfortable mattresses I’ve ever slept on. Also, great water pressure, which was nice after long hikes! We would definitely stay here again.
