Courtyard by Marriott Bremen4.0 out of 5.0

Our experience of the Marriot Courtyard was rather disappointing and I would not describe it as value for money. We had problems at check-in over the room booked that took 10 minutes to sort out and a lot of initial unfriendliness. The room was fine but the much-vaunted breakfast buffet was very mass-produced. For those wanting to visit the city, it is not much fun walking back and forth through the station to get to and from the hotel.
Just returned from a weekend in Bremen. This hotel is ideally located, at the back of train station, very central. Staff were lovely, decor was v tasteful & the hotel was warm and clean. Breakfast was great, and is served til 1pm on a Sunday!!! It's a buffet style and lots of variety, something for everyone. The hotel bar was really pleasant, staff were lovely & it wasn't overly expensive either. We had an early departure on Monday so we got a take away lunchbox made up for us by the hotel, a couple of pieces of fruit, a v tasty sandwich 3 little pastries, a snack bar & a bottle of fruit juice, it was all v tasty. Lovely hotel, with a lot of history attached, perfect location, staff, food and decor were all great, I would recommend this hotel to anyone planning a trip to Bremen😀
We had weekend break here and location is great, literally at the central station. Hotel gave us free early checkin which was fab. The rooms are clean and huge and breakfast is worth the money. Highly recommended.
You are close to everything. The train station, Laundromat, shopping, restaurants and local entertainment. They even have a museum close by you can visit. Wear comfortable shoes and check out everything.
Stay here regularly for business. Extremely friendly, welcoming staff who are happy to help. I had take a business call in my room which I new would run over check out time. Informed reception and nothing is ever a problem for them. Small but good gym. Weightlifting bench, dumbbells ranging from 2kg to 30kg and cardio equipment. Rooms are spacious and comfortable. Marriot Rewards points are also worth collecting. Highly recommend. R Seddon
This was gr8 we stayed there just as transit trough germany on a roadtrip with friends and i called the hotel 1 hour b4 and the room was ready and upgraded. It was really a fast and efficient service and also i must say a good service given by the night receptionist as we arrived late. All was good but the day staff was abit behind with the english but that can be fixed hopefully. This is not a complaint just so ppl have the info. Else over all it was a nice stay we had there.
The hotel is located next to the main railway station and on walking distance of the old center of Bremen. We used the hotel when we visited the Weihnachtsmarkt and it was very suitable for this purpose. We could park our car on arrival allthough we were to early to check in already. We had booked a standard room, but had an upgrade to a suite. This suite was located direct at the railsway and we could hear some noise from announcements and trains passing by but this did not disturb us. The breakfast was good but basic. On sunday morning 10.00 is was very crowded and it took we could hardly find a table.
One of the better places in Bremen. The rooms are large. The hotel offers free wi-fi. The rooms are in good shape. The staff is friendly. Centrally located with cacti the main railway location. Food is good in the hotel.
I'm wide awake at this hour as there is a party on the ground floor. We are on floor 1. When we phoned reception the receptionist said the music would stop but nothing has happened. By the way, we had to use our own phone to call. The in room phone doesn't work. We asked for it to be fixed yesterday but that was ignored too. When we spoke to reception you could hear shouting and screaming in the background. I cannot believe hotel staff consider this to be appropriate. Ironically the receptionist complained it was hard to hear us because the music "is so loud". If you want to get a good night's sleep try another hotel.
Courtyard Bremen is located right by the main railway station. Very clean and well maintained hotel. We only ate breakfast in the hotel; it was pretty good. With 19 euros for buffet there are other options in downtown too. Gym is small but serves the purpose. Services were friendly and professional. The location is the best part and will stay in this hotel again when visiting Bremen.
