modern hotel, outside of bratislava center. very good breakfast with a lot of different food. across the road is big shopping center with bus station which goes to center of bratislava. the staff is friendly in helpful

We have just came back from a few nights here and on first impressions the hotel was nice. It is only 3 stops from the airport on the bus and right next door to a large shopping centre. It is about a 20 minute bus ride into Bratislava but the 61 takes you straight there so good base to explore. The hotel facilities as a whole were good, the gym, pool and sauna were all fine but please bare in mind that swim shorts or swimming costumes are not permitted in the sauna or steam room. For drinks the bar was reasonably priced but food was very expensive. We didn’t have breakfast there due to cost and instead nipped to MacDonald’s or the shopping centre over the road where there is some good food outlets. We booked a twin room but got put in a double but rather than ask to change we made do. The room has everything you need however the standard of the room itself was appalling. The carpets in the room as well as in the lobby areas were disgusting and not at all what you would expect for a 4 star hotel (see photos). As you would expect the mini bar was expensive compared to water that was 40 cents in the supermarket. And there is a free safe to use in the room. The staff as a whole were lovely. Overall we had a nice stay, yes there is improvements needed to decor but it didn’t stop us having a great time. Bratislava itself has a beautiful old town with plenty of shops, bars and restaurants and old buildings - we would defiantly go back

I had a very pleasant stay in this NH hotel. XL room (503) was very large as well was the bath room (having separate heating element which made it nicely warm in the bath room which was good given the temp outside was minus 10). I also liked the fact you could open a window to let in some fresh air. There is plenty of storage room and a big mirror. Oh yes, decent hair dryer! The bed was very comfortable although the 1 person duvets are very narrow. Luckily i was on my own so could take 2 (double bed). There were some light switches that didn't work which was confusing. Room and bathroom were very clean. Amenities were of good quality. Check in/out went very smooth. House keeping did a mistake with minibar but when objecting at check out, it was not questioned and corrected. They also gave me 2 separate invoices for room charges and minibar, so easier for expense reporting Nice gym with a view. Unfortunately the swimming pool was not open early in the morning when i went to the gym. Breakfast buffet was extensive and good quality of food. First night i had dinner in the bar and that was disappointing. The quality was very good but the quantity was poor. I took the creamy pumpkin soup, 6 spoons and i was done. Alfter main course I had to take desert because i was still hungry...then the desert turned out small too. I actually left the bar still hungry, so i ate the pack of almonds from the minibar. You better go to the shopping mall across the street to get a decent portion. Such a pity because the food tasted good.

Very modern and fresh interior, looks luxurious and has cozy atmosphere. Location is perfect especially if you need to be close to the airport. Room offers enough space and I loved its bed, so soft and huge! Staff take care and try to meet your requirements. If being there, check out also that lovely fitness area.

Maybe bad luck, but comparing with majority of my colleagues they said the same. Traveling for work and with a high night rate (it was different all nights) I imagined it to be much better than reality. First when doing the checkin it went really slow, overall half of the workers aproximately in the hotel aren't speaking good or any english (so not expecting them to reply italian, spanish or catalan either). Two out of four nights they had parties with loud music in the second floor, together with bad acustic isolation and the noises from the air conditioning really hard to sleep properly. The worse came with the Wifi in my room located in a corner of the hotel, the connection was really poor or inexistent, after calling the reception couple nights with any help or suppport just saying that was because the router was far, on the last night they offered to change to another room but too late. Also in my room there was a mess with many buttons for the lights, also the ones near the bedroom not working properly, and the bathroom was big but cold when exiting the shower. Luckily and an extra reason why i'm not giving 1 star punctuation and maybe giving a second oportunity someday is because doing the checkout with Silvia Kozakova I felt comfortable and understood, unfortunately at the end and when leaving.

I had a great stay at this hotel. The rooms were very spacious and modern. The facilities were great and so was the hotel restaurant. The hotel was also situated very close to the airport which was very convenient. I would love to stay there again.

Every time I visit Bratislava, I stay in NH Gate One. Nice place with great staff. Reasonable Level of clenliness and great breakfast. I have been using this place for years and I have always been happy and I am not intending to look for a different place. Can recommend this place to People visiting the city of Bratislava.

The hotel looks great. XL rooms are really big. Everything looks new. The staff is great - many thanks to Silvia and Tomas. Very good breakfast. The hotel is conveniently located near a shopping mall :) . Highly recommended!!

We have stayed before and this is our 'go to' hotel in the Bratislava / Vienna area. Friendly and helpful staff who were always smiling plus attention to all the details like setting up a baby bed. Some places just leave the bed empty but here you can really tell they took the time for all the details from bedding to a special baby kit with creams and more. Recommendations: -Try the restaurant for dinner, you will be happy you did. -Make sure you book a room with breakfast included. Very nice buffet with no shortage of options. -Stay here if you plan to visit Vienna - it's a short drive away and the value for money is much better than in Vienna. Overall the quality is very high, clean, excellent food. We had a very relaxing weekend and will surely come again.

I stayed at this hotel several times and I always liked it. Housekeeping does a great job as the rooms & bathrooms are always super clean. It is a great hotel if you want to stay somewhere close to the airport. I've never eaten here or used the spa so cannot comment on that. The only bad thing about this hotel is that it can be a bit pricey at certain times depending on how busy they are. Otherwise I can only recommend!
