We are really happy with visit in your Hotel! We spend a good time with nice people. Thank you again we are happy to recommend your hotel to our friends. Definitely with next visit in Bratislava we choice this Hotel!!!
I was staying in the hotel for few nights as part of a tour group. Mind you that this hotel is very popular with large tour groups, therefore, during breakfast hours, restaurant could be crowded. However, despite all of those, my stay was surprisingly pleasant. My room on 3rd floor was roomy, modern decoration and very clean. I didn’t have much of a view outside my window (another side of the hotel), but I was hardly spending much time in my room anyway. The location is very close to central train station, 5 minutes walk. And close to any tram stop to go to the center of city. Only few stops away. Public transportation is quite easy to understand and to navigate, even for visitors who don’t speak the language, just like myself. I went for a day trip to Vienna by train from Bratislava, and it went uneventful. Love this hotel location. One evening I had dinner at the hotel restaurant, and food was delicious, high quality, secured pleasantly, and quite affordable. Service was very nice and professional during my stay. Breakfast buffet had wide array of selections, from eggs, pastries, bread, fresh fruits, etc.
Cozy rooms, nice resturant, clean toilets, comfortable bed it is not right in the city centre as stated We loved our stay in January first week, Parking is paid and not free No steam or sauna or jacuzzi in health club
I had an excellent experience at the Mercure Bratislava Centrum. The service was great and the staff very kind. They also managed to receive and resend my extra luggage without any problem and they were very helpful. The restaurant was also a pleasant surprise with great food at a reasonable price. A good walk from the town center but very close to the train station. I warmly recommend it!
Nice modern hotel with conference facility located close to railway station and city centre. Well equipped comfortable. Restaurant with modern European cuisine and good selection of wines. Helpful and fully professional personnel.
We had an issue with front desk at the time of check in, but solved succesfully (athough it took allmost an hour)... rooms are decent size, modern and clean... self service breakfast is Ok... good value hotel after all!
Location - Hotel is about 15 to 20 minutes walk from the historic centre, with a slight downhill gradient all the way to the centre, however, once you master the local transportation system [ bus / trolley-bus / tram ], it is only 5 minutes. These options use the same cheap ticketing system. Taxis are expensive - £20 compared to 60p for the same journey. If you are travelling on, or simply visiting other cities / towns, this hotel is one of the best locations, as it is only 5 minutes walk to the train station. The hotel - Modern , bright , bedrooms reasonable size The staff - Reception staff are absolutely brilliant. In general the rest of the staff are bright and friendly. Food - Fine dining in the evening is to a very high standard. Unfortunately we were disappointed with the breakfasts.- Our first morning there was an exceptionally good selection of breads in particular, and the wide selection of hot and cold food on offer was constantly replenished, We were impressed. On the second and subsequent mornings, this standard was not maintained. The impression we had was that no-one was in charge, and as long as the few staff who were on duty and were moving, then everything was OK. One morning my husband was looking for sugar ( none on the table ), and I went for orange juice, by the time we got back to our table, our breakfast had been removed ! Overall - Had we simply been on B & B, then I would only rate the hotel as 2 star, simply because of the inconsistent and poor breakfasts, but when considering the standard of food for the evening meals, I would judge this hotel to be almost 4 star.
Room 451, 16th & 17th December. At check in the staff were friendly, helpful and efficient, as they were throughout our stay. Our standard room was a good size with a comfortable double bed. The room was clean and well equipped. The room is side facing and very quiet, we didn’t hear any external noise during our two nights. The shower is a glazed area within the room and the screens do not extend all the way round so there is not 100% privacy Breakfast was good with plenty of choices in each section. The bar is in the reception area and a .5l beer is €7. The restaurant serves delicious food. The hotel is very well located. We arrived by rail and on exiting the station you can see the hotel 100m or so on the left. The old town is a 15-minute walk away, but there is an extensive network of local transport with stops outside the hotel if you prefer. So long as you don’t mind the shower arrangement I would recommend this hotel and would be happy to stay here should I ever return to Bratislava.
After our very pleasant stay last year, we came back again and stayed 2 nights here in our favourite hotel in December and had a great stay again!!! We had the same lovely large room with a very comfortable bed, tea / coffee making facilities in the room. The hotel team everywhere were very nice and polite. Very good breakfast, we loved the Christmas design everywhere in the hotel! We recommend this hotel to everyone who travels to Bratislava and likes warm welcome. Thank you!!!
No complaint at all. Stayed for 1 night. Tidy room. Quiet hotel. Polite and helpful staff. Right location. So close to the main train station and not far from city centre (25 minutes walk). Good and relaxing privilege lounge. Thanks for all.
