Lovely hotel quite close to the old town and convenient for the train station. The rooms are very nice and larger than I expected. I really liked the funky decor. As other reviewers have mentioned, some ( not all) of the staff are a bit unfriendly but they are always courteous. I found the prices in the restaurant to be reasonable and enjoyed their own lager which was cheaper than some places in the old town. Free wifi, free room safe, free voucher for a glass of wine and free mini bar. Would recommend.
Just spent a wonderful weekend at this hotel. The decor is beautiful and considering how modern it is it's extremely comfortable from the beds to the seats in reception. The staff are so lovely especially in the restaurant. Unfortunately I don't think I will ever go back to Bratislava however I will recommend this fantastic hotel to anyone going to this wonderful country.
We stayed here for 2 nights and really enjoyed the novelty of staying in a brewery! The family room was very spacious and had a double bed, 2 singles plus a sofa area and table / chairs. Perfect for a family. The location is good, just a short walk from the old town and the breakfast is really good with lots of cooked and cold options, unusual for hotels in Europe. We ate in the hotel on one of the evenings and found the food to be good and reasonably priced. The hotel's own brewed beer was very good and a good selection of wine. All in all a really good hotel, reasonably priced with good quality food and drink - the free mini-bar is an added bonus!
We stay here for 7 night while holidaying in Bratislava. We had a Junior Suite in the Wilson Palace part of the hotel. The room was a good size with a large double bed and a double sofa bed and a large bathroom. The free mini bar is a nice touch with 4 bottles of still and sparkling water along with 2 beers each day. The bar and restaurant are both excellent with good value food and drink. The bar has it's own micro brewery and the beer is excellent. The only downside I had during our stay was with the staff. There was very little interaction between them and the guests and some of the young reception staff could do with more training as they seemed quite clueless at times. Overall this is an excellent relatively new hotel in Bratislava and I would highly recommend to anyone traveling to this beautiful city.
So we stayed at the loft hotel in Bratislava for a wedding this weekend and at the beginning we loved the hotel. The rooms are amazing the service at the front desk is amazing and the beer that they brew here is at a high standard! The only thing that's let's this hotel down is the service in the bar area! The attitude is ridiculous blond lady short hair rolled her eyes every time you ask for something. Man behind the bar always wears jeans just looks like he hates his job and has no customer service what so ever and then to top it off they charge us €3 for a jug of tap water I would have given 5 star if it wasn't for these staff member mentioned which in all honesty let the team down! Love this city and will be back Hopefully service will be better next time
Stayed for three nights in total. Amazing hotel. Hotel manager gave me a complimentary bottle of wine as he noticed it was my birthday which I loved. The bed is so comfy and the room has lots of space. Very clean also. Very good restaurant next door and perfect location. Would stay again for sure. Only small issue was the shower didn't work fully the first night but the hotel manager sorted that very quickly for us and the air corn was a little confusing, but apart from that it really was excellent. The hotel did not disappoint, however arranged transfers to and from Vienna airport via the hotel who stated it would be 79 Euros. No each trip was 100 Euros so be aware. The hotel offers free mini bar......2 bottles of beer and 2 bottles of water hardly constitutes a mini bar !
Stayed here for a short break. Perfect location. Room was lovely and clean, nice powerful shower and comfortable bed. Air con worked fine and is a must for us. We didnt eat in the hotel. However, we did spend time in the Wine bar which was also air conditioned and had a pleasant relaxing atmosphere with high backed comforable chairs. Loved the monkey nuts they served in little sacks on the tables. Price for hotel was very reasonable indeed. The mini bar was an added bonus, which we used. It was my husbands birthday whilst we were there and they sent up a little note and goodie for him. We loved this hotel and the staff. I have no faults whatsoever. thank you very much.
We stayed at the LOFT Hotel for three nights because we thought the rustic, steampunk look appealed to us. We were not disappointed. I was floored by the attention to detail this place took when developing the facility. There were fresh pastries in the hallway near our room, rooms are decorated in a very trendy, rustic feel. Lights, furniture, faucets, every detail was beautifully done. We kept finding new and cool things they did to make it feel so warm and inviting. We did have an upgraded room with the brick walls, etc. Also, when we stepped off the elevator onto our floor, there was a movie playing onto the wall, which was a neat added touch. Also you need your key to go from the elevator into the hall on your floor, which I liked for added security. Beds and linens were very comfortable, and my favorite part: AC that got nice and cool! Which can be hard to find among Euro hotels. Shower was large and gorgeous with a rainshower head and also a handheld. We tried both the Fabrika beer pub as well as the wine bar and both were very inviting and had an excellent atmosphere. In Fabrika, I had a smoked hamburger. Not my favorite and it was....juicy/bloody for my taste. Also smoked hamburger was too rich for me. The waitress was a little stern and didn't smile at all, yet I think that was just her personality but she still provided good service. The beer was delicious and the prices were unbeatable. Just a couple of Euro for a large beer. The location of the hotel was excellent; walk to the old town in about 8-10 minutes and it was in a safe location right next to a park. Finally, there was a woman at the front desk who put in a bunch of work to help us find a private tour guide and also made our restaurant reservations. She was wonderful and went over the top. Just one thing I didn't much care for. There are wood floors in the entryway, with giant rugs. They look great, but are not good for rolling over with your suitcase - I kept getting caught dragging a rug along with me. Several times. All in all, extremely pleased with this facility at its service. Well done!!
The hotel + the bar/restaurant area is excellent ... Good atmosphere and alot of people all day... But the weithers need to cheer up , hardly a smile to get from any of them... Seems like your bothering them when you're trying to order something( Especially in the WIne pub down the stairs) There was a exceppsion doh , some of the Bartenders in the Beer pub are really friendly and gave us excellent service .. So creds to them .... The food is really good and so is the Beer that's crafted on the Hotel :) The room was okay , nothing special... Not cosy at all... The pictures at the webpages are not a good reflection of what you can except . And the cleaning of the rooms where bad , never changed the bed sheets and so so general cleaning of the room. At the end it was a okey stay at Loft hotel, the Manager is a Rude and not nice... But that's maybe just here way of being... We where in a bit of a hurry to check out because our plane was leaving but she acted in a way not expected from a hotel manager... Staff have a long way to go or else the hotel is good , location is good and maybe just 10 min to walk to down town...
