Five of us stayed at this hotel and we all agreed the hotel was terrific. We arrived early and our rooms were not ready so we went into the restaurant and had lunch. It was delicious and the waiter was very friendly. I had a glass of Slovakian wine and it was superb. Our rooms were stylish and comfy, and the small fridge is stocked with free water, Pepsi, and beer. The beds were comfy as well. The front desk staff were friendly and helpful. We had wine in the bar area one night and the staff was attentive and nice. The breakfast buffet was superb. It is a short walk to the old town area and the river. I would stay here again and I highly recommend this hotel.
If I could give the hotel ZERO stars, I would. I had a terrible experience at this hotel right on my very first day and it totally ruined my whole experience and impression of Bratislava. That's right- because of them! My husband and I got a rental vehicle which we drove from the airport to the hotel the evening of, and specifically asked the front desk right as we got there if it was ok to park infront of them on the streets. Bellboy/frontdesk came out to check and acknowledged that it was no problem, TWICE, even helped with our bags. Next morning, just as I needed to get to work, the car was GONE. Hotel confirmed it was towed away an hour ago, During the whole scramble to try to locate the car, front desk manager Tomas denied saying that it was ok to park... and of course denied everything else. At this point we were exasperated, and just wanted to get our rental back. He was helpful enough to tell us where to get it back, and how much to expect to pay. But they could have just told us right from the start if it was NOT ok! Or to park with the hotel! Worse of all, this other front desk lady next to him, Monica, kept adding fuel to the fire, and made snark comments the whole time, saying if someone had told you it was ok to park, you should use your common sense to know that it was not ok etc. Totally RUDE and unnecessary! Unpleasant experience aside, housekeeping was horrible. No refills for toilet paper, or tissue paper. When we first checked in, only 2 pieces of tissue papers was left. Pillows are the WORST. I'm not the most picky when it comes to bed or pillows, but I have a terrible time even trying to close my eyes with the hotel's pillows. Cheap, terribly small pillow and you barely feel like you are sleeping on anything. King bed is actually 2 small singles put together, and duvet will barely cover you at all if you are tall. Air conditioning is terrible, and the room will feel hot and stuffy the whole time no matter how you try to adjust it to be. Good luck trying to get any rest/sleep or peace in this hotel. Stay away and put your money elsewhere!
Thoroughly recommend this Hotel. Great rooms and bars. Staff can’t do enough to help you - really friendly. Good location and easy walk to the old town. Beer brewed on site was very good . Food also very good - tried breakfast , lunch and dinner. Main breakfast is 14 euros although also do a continental breakfast for 5.9 euros - was very good. Would definitely use again.
Great hotel with friendly staff. The bedroom was very spacious and the bed comfortable, however it was on castors which didn’t lock so you did find yourself moving about a bit ! The bathroom was very clean as was the room and the mini bar stocked up daily. Breakfast was excellent with a good choice of hot and cold food . Bratislava is a lovely compact city and would totally recommend this hotel for staying in .
This is a great hotel, very clean, modern, has parking and a micro brewery. Stayed with 4 friends who regularly travel as a group and we all agreed this was the best hotel we'd stayed at as a group. Small mini bar in room with free beer and pepsi. We ate in the bar one day and the food was good. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. Short walk into town. Very reasonably priced given the standard of the hotel. Beer is great too!
Looks ok from the outside but our experience from check in to the room to the cafe lounge to breakfast made us both feel it was one of the best hotel experiences we have had for a long time and we have done a lot of travelling. Great value for money and would definitely recommend. Easy to get to the sites by walking within 10-15 mins
We (3 couples senior citizens) stayed here from Mon to Fri last week and we all agreed it is the best hotel we have stayed in by far on any of our city breaks, which we all do together each year. The rooms are large, the beds are huge and the bathrooms are beautiful with a big bath and a superb shower and all toiletries provided. also the mini bar is totally free and is stocked with bottles of water, still 7 sparkling, bottle of beer for each person in the room, a tin of Pepsi and a bag of crisps. The breakfast is really good with cooked and continental choices and plenty of everything. No scrimping here! the whole place is really clean and everyon is very friendly and helpful. We ate twice in Fabrika's, the restaurant bar at the hotel and it was again really good food and excellent value. There is nothing negative to say about any of it. Thank you
Loft Hotel are really something special since they have their own brewery and get their own fresh tapped beer vow yes really special Central ooooh yes it is spot on Close to everything Trams, taxi, bus, train station, airport not far away and off course very close to old town center Location perfect Breakfast at hotel is fantastic and selection is really something wonderful You get it all warm and cold Warm toast I will recommend Perfect Many Slovakian traditional in food to if you want to explore something different And why not try chocolate mousse Restaurant at hotel is also wonderful So much good tasted food Pub with different beer need to try Also a very good vine bar Very close to president palace and garden so is next door Room are very good Quite good space and bathroom very good I really liked the shower Cleaning was ok And staff so worked there could maybe show a little more service or a smile? Maybe Loft Hotel I will recommend very much
Tremendous hotel in every sense. If you are concerned that it is too far from old town, do not worry. You will be glad to walk off some of the food and drink you have consumed and it really is not far. Helena gave us a charming welcome and all staff were kind and friendly. If you are thinking of visiting Braislava and you should, stay here.
Just 10 min walk from bus/train station so was ideal hopping on 61 bus from airport .0.90euro . 10/15 min walk to old town prob 20 min to river. Room on 3 rd floor very clean and spacious. Staff very helpful especially Tomas at reception. My only gripe it was a bit warm in the room but I’m nitpicking . Didn’t have breakfast so couldn’t comment but loved the bar and lounge area to sit and eat and drink . Coffee lovely and a free complimentary drink on arrival as well as a free mini bar which had 2 bottles of beer. 4 bottles of water, still and sparkling ,( ideal at night) and can of coke plus crisps . Usual tea and coffee facilities. All in all a good choice to stay . Trip to Vienna by boat and back on train. Back to airport with no61 bus . Cheaper than a taxi .
