LOFT Hotel Bratislava

Stayed for 2 nights in May with a friend. LOFT is a great location, 10 minutes walk from the Old Town, 15 minutes walk to the Slavín Memorial (the affluent Slavín suburb is full of Modernist houses to look at). The staff were super friendly and helpful, our room was spacious and spotless and breakfast was a feast of good quality food. Our favourite bit was the Fabrika pub, bar and restaurant - we ate outside there on Friday evening, the menu is incredible and reasonably priced. The bar also brews beers on site. If you're visiting Bratislava I'd thoroughly recommend this hotel!

Lovely old building with modern addition....comfortable and convenient, good food, craft beer bar, luxury or budget rooms, within easy walking distance of the old town, the river, the castle on the hill..

I know it doesn't say much about me (i actually flew BA to Vienna) but the problem of having a big regional Ryanair hub in Bratislava is that its client will have to be catered by budget hotels. Hence...Loft. I had originally booked at Arcadia but my budget god decided against and my booking was cancelled. which should have warned me about the tipology of the town. I then booked Loft, on account of its website pictures. Its location is walking distance from the old town and next to the wealthiest area in bratislava. some amazing private homes just behind it. Staff is extremely young but I had few troubles. My room, 411' was on the 4th floor and quiet. pity for the horrible latching system of the doors that close with a big bang bound to wake up the dead. My room was large but truly an Ikea job. Minibar was free as breakfast. But the issues lie with Fabrika, the restaurant on the ground floor. I dont drink alcohol and therefore its appeal, if any, was lost on me. The night i decided to have dinner there i quickly changed my mind as soon as walked in. the noise was deafening and staff looked like killers. I retreated and went somewhere else. Unfortunately had to use it for three breakfasts. Depeche Mode were playing in town (my reason fo being there) and the combination gig + ryanair cheap flights made the hotel extremely busy. drones of people dragging their trolleys to bf just before leaving. A nightmare. Staff more grumpier than ever. I went outside to drink a coffee and when, goung back to my room, I handed my empty cup to a waitress with very much dyed hair I was told "put it on the table inside" which didn't please me too much. then I remembered ryanair and its badly mannered customers and I let go. I had enough and left one night earlier. Hotel was kindly enough not to charge me. I came to Vienna, just another world. Sounding very posh i know I think i will not be back.

Hotel is very handy for the main tourist area of Bratislava. Only a ten minute walk to the centre of town. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. mini bar was replenished daily, and the front desk staff, in the main, could not be more helpful. The restaurant in the hotel was excellent, with a huge variety of options. Definitely worth a visit. Would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Bratislava.

The Loft is absolutely amazing. One of the best hotels I've stayed in. As an avid traveler, I read a lot of reviews and look at pictures before making my selection and I'm glad I chose this place. The rooms are very big and spacious. The best are comfortable for a good nights rest. Also, the breakfast is very very good. They offer meats, cheeses, pastries, fruits, coffee and all sorts of other choices. It is well worth the money. This is also in a good location and close to old town.

The Loft hotel was a fantastic hotel to stay in the breakfast, the bed the room, the staff everything about was faultless. The hotel bar was brilliant the staff where spot on the service was second to none. It was 10 mins from the main station to take you to Vienna and also 10 mins from the centre of town. I wouldn't hesitate in coming back to the Loft hotel.

Loft Hotel has a lot to like about. The location is good close to the old town but still with easy access by car. The restaurant serves very good beers (and wine) and decent food. The rooms are modern and the staff is friendly. Small minuses for small and inconvenient garage and weird floor material in the room (you do not feel like walking on barefoot). In overall, Loft Hotel is a good choice when in Bratislava.

Hotel is relatively new and on the quiet street about 10 minutes walk from the Old Town. Area is safe and quiet and easy to walk around the city from. The staff are friendly and very helpful. There is a great micro brewery on site that offer a range of traditional Slovak beers. Well worth a try. Rooms are spacious, modern and very clean. Wifi is easily accessed and very quick too for day trip planning. Breakfast is extensive and lots of choice whether you come down early or not. They serve this until 10.30am too which is great for a relaxing stay. We arrived at 11am on the first day and our room was already prepared which was really appreciated. Would recommend the taxi transfer arranged by the hotel, as the drivers are very friendly and the vehicles are new and clean. This costs €23 one way to and from the airport. Would recommend this hotel to others and hope to be back one day. No complaints at all, just complements after a lovely relaxing stay.

I love this place the decor and food and friendly staff made my stay a pleasure. Varied menu and great selection of beers and wine at great prices. Would love to holiday here as it's also a lovely city..

I travelled here with friends for a weekend birthday celebration and I would highly recommend this hotel if you wish to stay as a group, couple or even with families. Location is excellent as walking distance to old town but far enough away to avoid noise. We travelled to Trnvana for a football match and railway station is only 10 minutes walk away too. Service in the hotel is great with very friendly efficient staff who also sorted our taxi transfers for us. Rooms very modern and clean and the Fabrika beer pub is simply excellent range of quality beers. I will definitely stay here again when I visit Bratislava
