Booked 2 nights here, asked for a top floor room, away from the elevators. At check in the guy was very friendly and efficient, the requests had been noted and given. The hotel is a short walk from the Bratislava Most Bust stop, where busses from Vienna airport go from. Also a short walk from the castle and the old town. The location was excellent. Lot's of shops and restaurants nearby. The room was a little tired, but had a nespresso machine, super comfy bed, good lighting and power sockets. The safe was at floor level which is totally impractical. Apart from that the room was spacious and bright, didn't turn on the TV so no idea about that. Bathroom was adequate, with an over bath shower, but it is annoying if you actually use the bath, the only toiletries are in wall dispensers, out of reach. Breakfast was not included, and expensive I thought, It looked good, but not sure I could, or would want to try, to eat 29Euro worth of food.. there are lot's of places to get breakfast nearby, so I did. Bar was nice, and had a smoking room. All staff were great, easy check out. The price for my stay was excellent value for money.

Initial thoughts it’s a nice modern hotel with stylish rooms, staff speak good English and are friendly, went to my room and it was incredibly warm as the weather caught them by surprise, room is a good size, bathroom a good size as well, hotel has massage facilities, sauna and a good gym upstairs, breakfast was also very good lots of options, Location is a two minute walk from the old town and castle.

My wife and I stayed here with 4 friends during a recent 3 night short break. The hotel's location is excellent with just a 5 minute walk to the old town and Christmas market. Check in was very quick and the rooms were very nice indeed with ours having an exceptionally spacious bathroom. The hotel was very clean throughout and breakfast (the only meal we had) was very good indeed with a wide range of hot and cold food and eggs and omelettes cooked to order. The hotel is also just a 20 minute walk from the main railway station and we went to Vienna during one of the days. It takes just an hour on the train and costs €14 return. Just a couple of criticisms - the hot breakfast food (especially the scrambled egg and beans) did not keep very hot on the counter and I thought the drinks in the bar and the room's minibar were a bit pricey compared to food and drinks in the town. I guess they could be normal hotel prices, I just don't know. Anyway, all in all, a very good hotel which I would definitely stay at again and thoroughly recommend.

Hotel is located close to a city center. Staff was friendly and SPA was good. Amazing breakfast, rich choice of ham, cheese, pastry, juices, etc.... Missing a hanger for towels and centrally controled air-con.

My spouse and I stayed here for three nights while I was in Bratislava for a conference. The hotel is comfortable, quiet, and well-located. The in-room coffee maker was a nice treat. Our room was spacious.

If you ever plan to visit Bratislava in Slovakia, then I can recommend you hotel Falkensteiner, with a 5 minut walk to the border of the old coity of Bratislava. Clean en comfortable rooms, good internet connection, helpful staff, good bar, nice Belgian beer Hoegaarden, good restaurant. If even only for the specific, very delicious salad with grilled goat cheese I would arleady advise you to take a room in this hotel.

The hotel is convenient for walking around the old town. Yes, indeed. But ... It is not acceptable to serve dinner guests hot red wine. To serve hot red wine to them again the following evening is unforgivable. All the more so when the restaurant staff know why the wine is hot and have promised to sort the problem out. I’m not going to go further into the dire service we received in the dining room. The staff are friendly enough, so leadership is clearly lacking and customer service not well understood. It’s not my habit to give harsh reviews but this experience was truly disappointing.

We spent overnight in this hotel after staying 2 nights (Falkensteiner Margareten) in Vienna. Upon arrival, parking of our tour bus to unload our luggages was an issue because of the very busy street in front of the hotel. We had to drag our luggages downhill because the bus was parked farther uphill. Upon entering the hotel, we went directly to our room. The room was clean and the bathroom was huge with bathtub. After resting for awhile, we opted to walk around the nearby area. The staff in the front desk was very helpful and gave us a map. Upon getting out of the hotel, there was a tunnel that connects to thenother side of the street. There we found a Capuchin church. Then we found our way on the old town. We had to be back for dinner, coming back was easy. At the hotel restaurant, we had a buffet dinner with variety of dishes to choose from. Since, I was tired and sleepy, I was not able to eat much. Upon waking up for breakfast on the same restaurant, bread selection was my favorite. The only con I can comment was the wi-fi. It was not fast and sometimes loosing signal. Overall stay was pleasant.

First impression before you are arriving to the hotel , Isn't so good due the sight of it from the road . But its defiantly nice hotel , nice rooms with nice view to the castle ( not all the room including a view ) . Good breakfast and services ... Small minus there are music conservatory near by they and starting the practice pretty early .

Lots of bars & pubs and restaurants, side by side; just some steps from the hotel, for having stayed on a weekend, busy, crowded streets, commerce with large stores and brands; historical center, all of it only for pedestrians in a proportionally larger area than all other cities visited on this trip, I reiterate, destined exclusively for the people, some of them shared with the passage of the "TRAM" and with their houses all impeccable leaving it of open mouth. Crossing the Danube, you come to find the buildings built in the communist era, in enormous quantity, all revitalized and with various colorations, making them beautiful and even, as another attraction of the city, unlike Prague, ie the Slovaks, in the my point of view, after separation, are "constructively" better than the Czech Republic. To conclude and prove that the preservation of its historical heritage and its buildings are amazingly preserved, the gigantic Castle of Bratislava, you can see it anywhere in the city, because it is situated on a hill, highest point in the city and leaves the Danube at your feet, is the official residence of the President of the Republic of Slovakia 🇸🇰 !!! The hotel provides you as a complementary NESPRESSO MACHINE, and also included in your rate a tasty breakfast
