Falkensteiner Hotel Bratislava

Hotel is modern and new. 5 mins walking from hsitoric center - old city. Rooms are spacious - but some stuff falls, such as sabon hadling shelf Breakfast is diverse but felt that it is not fresh 100%. Parking is available in underground floors, you may take the elevator straight to your room, however, parking fee for one day is Euro 17.5, which is very expensive realtively to city like Bratislava, this service should be given for free I think. (In vienna we paid Euror 20). There is a nice lounge at the upper floor, and you may enjoy some drinks and snacks for free. Also, there is a spa in the same upper floor where you can enjoy dry Sauna and gym.

If you are looking for a cozy and convenient place to stay in Bratislava, then this the spot to go! Falkensteiner Hotel has an outstanding location in the very heart of the city. It is close to all sights - with walking distance - and has an amazing transport availability - if you are coming to Bratislava by bus/train/plane. More to say, you will never loose the hotel because of illumination outside. The interior is nice and the colour scheme is very pleasant. Beds and linen are soft. Cleanliness of the rooms and corridors is on the high level either. Need to add that you will experience very sympathetic and responsive staff if you decide to opt for Falkensteiner Hotel. Thus, i is truly recommended in the capital of Slovakia!

We recently stayed two night at the Falkensteiner in Bratislava, at the end of a two-week trip around several countries, and I wish we had stayed longer! Having dealt with bad service on this trip, I can say the service received and level of customer service offered was outstanding. The staff throughout the property is very polite and helpful. We had dinner at the hotel on the first night. Unfortunately, the restaurant was closed but we were served in the bar area. The waiter was working on his own that night and was extremely busy, but he made sure we were served promptly. Unfortunately, the dish we ordered was not available, so we ordered something else and the waiter kindly offered us complimentary dessert for the inconvenience. The food was good, but pricey for Bratislava (we ate and drank plenty of local food and beer for half the cost at a local pub the following night). Breakfast is excellent, with a very wide selection of pastries, bread, cereals, hot food, meat, cheese, fish, you name it!! The facilities look quite new and well maintained. Our room was big and comfortable. We also used the small gym, the sauna and steam room. Finally, the location is ideal. Right by the old town. Very easy access to the airport (€7 Uber!). Highly recommended!

The Falkensteiner Hotel Bratislava is a four star hotel located along the side street of the Main Street (Staromestka) of which is where many hotels are located and is just across the Old Town of Brastilava. The Bratislava Castle is just 900 meters away from the hotel, the Saint Martin Cathedral (where the old Hungarian Kings were crowned) is located just 500 meters walk from it, the Presidential Palace of Slovakia is 500 meters from it and the Saint Michaels Gate just 350 meters away. You can do a walking tour of Bratislava without a tour bus from this hotel. We stayed here for two nights in Christmas Season of 2016 as part of a Central Europe Tour as this hotel is popular for Big Tour Groups. The hotel has 162 rooms and suites, of which we had a De Luxe Room (Standard Room) which has a large bathroom and sleek modern décor, which is about 28 square meters and as amenities such as a coffee making machine, in room safe, hair dryer, climate control, LED TV with international Channels, toiletries (again no tooth brush and tooth past, which is a European standard) complimentary bottled water (rare privilege in European hotels), complimentary breakfast buffet at Seasons Restaurant from 6:30 am to 10:00 am. they even have a smoking lounge in the hotel as well and a spa. bring your universal plug and usb sockets as they have standard European two pin sockets. check in is 3:00 pm and check out at 12:00 pm

All Falkensteiner hotels we visited are something special its not a hotel you are used to, but its more than that. We really feel the slogan"Welcome home". We are spirit gold members and got an upgrade to rooftop lounge. Perfect! It made our stay memoriable. We were Falky in the city with our two kids and got the second room for kids free, with Falky furniture and bedlinens . Kids cosmetics, kids gifts. There are really the little things that make Falkensteiner special. The breakfast is ok, the staff is not so like in Austria, but ok! The receptionist ( with tattoo ) was always present and realy had everything under control- perfect job! Also the barman- very good! We will definitley return! The spa, fitness, and the location is perfect!

stayed there last week for one night the hotel is located less than a five minute walk from the old city the hotel is spotless the rooms are okay - the air con wasn't very good breakfast was a buffet with plenty of food i will stay there again

The hotel is very clean and modern and the staff is friendly. Except for out front, I'm not sure where additional parking is located. The room and bathroom were very nice, with a flat-screen TV, coffee maker and a large bed. We only stayed one night because of our traveling schedule, but I would have gladly stayed longer. Great place! Thanks! :)

Chose the Falkensteiner for my stay in Bratislava because of the reasonable price for a**** hotel in the city center and previous good experience with the chain. This one in Bratislava has nice ambience in the halls and the rooms, though we got a room with atrium view only. But the fitness centre got awesome view of the castle. Sadly, there was no whirlpool in the welness centre, which I prefer over sauna. The breakfast was really tasty and I appreciated the coffee maker in the room. While the shower in the bathroom was very large, I did not like the see-through glass to the bedroom, as there were no shades and the light annoyed the other person sleeping. Cleaning lady entered our room early in the morning - wonder if she does not know which room to clean? And the parking garage was really expensive, but it is a big advantage to be so close to the center.

The hotel is very clean and modern. Nice breakfast buffet. Will go there again. Friendly staff. I recommend it to anybody 😆 Its walking distance to Eurovea and Aupark malls. I specially recommend the location of the hotel. I could walk everywhere i had to go.

The rooms were very good for what we required. Modern and clean. The staff were very friendly and the breakfast was excellent. The bar prices were a little too expensive. Whilst in the bar on Saturday night a German lady collapsed with what turned out to be a brain injury. I would have liked to see some concern and support from the hotel. It was left to myself and others to help her which I was happy to do but I would have liked some support from a member of staff. Also when checking out we had to pay a small city tax that we were unaware of. Apart from these things I would love to stay in this hotel again one day.
