The hotel is on the fringe of the old town. So if you want to visit the old town at night it's a good location. I had my evening meal at the hotel. The food was very average though the waiter was kind. The restaurants are better at the Mercure or the Lindner in Bratislava. The room was quite large but furnished in a sad and sort of cheap way. However, I found the bedding to be good. There are no coffee/ tea facilities in the room. The brekfast buffet was the nice surprise. It's complete and the food was tasty.
One of the best choices for Bratislava visitors. Excellent location (very convenient shopping center & super market nearby), very quite neighborhood, walking distance to everywhere. Very clean, big rooms, wonderful breakfast, excellent wifi and very polite staff! The accomodation cost is really low. Excellent!!!
We visited this chain hotel with a group of friends and the initial impression was very good. This modern hotel has an impressive foyer and reception area, we were checked in quickly and efficiently and were informed that we qualified for the executive lounge area on the sixth floor ( I had paid a little extra to upgrade the room). Breakfast was also very good once you knew your way around, coffee in pots was scattered around the room to avoid the long waits at the machines. Ommelettes and pancakes were cooked to order. Unfortunately we were at the front of the hotel , facing the sun , and the room became uncomfortable at night. The a/c didn't appear to work at all. and I can only guess what it would be like in the summer. The bar is another area where improvement could be made, the bar closes at 11 pm, or whenever the surly barman decides. This chap needs to be moved to an area where he doesn't have to deal with the public. As I say with a very little improvement this would be the go to hotel.
Got a good deal back in January and spent two nights here. I did ask for a quiet room via email and the reply was quick and efficient. Due to early arrival, we could not check in till 1500 so we went on a walk exploring the city and returned 2100 after a couple of beers. The receptionist seemed a tad perturbed but when we arrived they offered us to leave our luggage in a safe room, so all was well. The room was indeed very quiet overlooking the pedestrianised bit that leads to the tram lines so we were happy. Breakfast was plentiful and there was something for everyone. Hotel was very clean and they even provided towels and information for runners in reception. Shame I did not have my running kit on me as it looked like a lovely place to run in - along the river Danube for instance. Would definitely return if price is as good again as we've found it the perfect base to explore the city on foot.
I visited in March 2018 with a group during a work conference. The hotel bar and seating area is almost laughable, the service at the bar is a joke - the bar staff were chatting to their friend and almost insulted we'd dare to order a drink. The rooms are spacious - with big bathrooms - typical hotel furniture and windows that do not open - which was an issue because the air conditioning was a nightmare. In my room, it was freezing - and could not be regulated. I tried to work from my room but it was impossible due to the cold (if I'd been paying, I would have asked for a refund). My friends in the meanwhile, complained it was too hot, and would not be fixed (on top of being noisy). The breakfast was quite good (though it could have done with more fresh fruit choices), and there was a counter making egg dishes which I didn't try but looked quite good.
Would highly recommend this hotel - location is great - just out of the old city and not complicated to get to from the Autobahn. The beds were very comfortable and so were the pillows. The room we stayed in was a good size and has everything you need - clean and modern with a mini bar fridge and there's a power outlet in the safe which means you can safely charge things while you're out. Breakfast was amazing - with plenty of cold options but also a decent hot selection including someone to make omelette or crepes on demand! There is also a small gym area with saunas and a treadmill and stationary bikes.
Clean and comfortable. Rooms were quiet and allowed for a good night sleep. Reception staff were helpful with tourist information and directions. The hotel is ideally placed for exploring on foot. Only ate breakfast at the hotel which was pleasant enough.
Really nice hotel in a great location, just a 5 minute walk to Old Town with plenty of additional restaurants, pubs, coffee shops, and shopping nearby. I arrived at the train station, also nearby via a quick 5-10 minute taxi ride. The room was modern and comfortable and the breakfast buffet was fantastic - everything you could want from an omelette and crepe station, to various meats and cheeses, to fresh fruits and vegetables. I recommend Austria Trend!
This hotel is a bargain. I facility was clean, new, and luxurious. The front desk staff spoke English well and were very helpful. My booking came with breakfast which was delicious. I definitely could over indulge with the various options. He location is perfect. It’s long a 5 minutes walk into the old town area. It’s also conveniently close to a grocery, food restaurants, bars, cafes, and late night eateries. I had everything I needed with the fantastic customer service from all the staff.
The location is excellent very central the room i stayed in was good enough small fault would be there is no plug near a mirror and there could have done to have a small kettle and cups in room but apart from that it was clean and nice the staff are friendly and helpful the bar area was nice and the breakfast was good if i was to go back to Bratislava i would stay here
