I stayed for one night for business. I had booked a suite - very spacious. Building looks modern. Rooms have a slightly strange decor, and the bathroom looks slightly dated. However, the rooms were NOT clean. Not what you would expect for a room of this price. Breakfast was ok. Staff seemed friendly enough. Ok for a short stay, but not the cleanest.
My room was huge . Everything was perfect. Could of done with some tea bags in the room though or some coffee. This hotel is in the old town so it's a perfect location especially as bratislava isn't a noisy town. They do offer breakfast but I never had it .
if you have a car parking is far and its 25 euro per day. There is no bellboy or someone to help you with your luggages. If you want an early check in (before 14:00) you have to pays 10 euro extra per hour. The place dosnt look like a hotel in general. Rooms are big, new and clean.
This was my third stay at this hotel. The first time was excellent, probably because the hotel was new but since then standards have dropped. Here are the good points based on what I need from a hotel- clean and comfortable place to sleep, good bathroom and coffee to help start the new day. The hotel location could not be better. It is in the old town but close to the new shopping centers. Plenty of bars and restaurants on its doorsteps! Bedroom was clean with a comfortable bed- few marks on the wall that housekeeping could easily wipe off. Bathroom in good order BUT- the last 2 times I have been here they provide one large towel and one hand towel for a double room???? Is this a 4 star service? When rooms are advertised at up to 300 euros a night is this acceptable? Finally morning coffee- nice that the room had a kettle but there was no sugar and no milk so if you don t like "cafe solo" then you are out of luck- there was no breakfast tea either so not good! I suspect the problem is in the room cleaning supervision area. It's a great shame because the location is excellent and the basic room is very comfortable but when you stay at a 4 star and prices are what they are then 2 sets of towels and well stocked hot drinks selection is a basic.
The property is situated in a pedestrian zone, near the historical center of Bratislava and inside a small shopping mall. We had a room on the 4th floor in the back of the building (not facing the pedestrian walk) which was spacious, clean and quiet. A big bed offered nice sleep. Also the bathroom was huge, although there was not a bathtub. Towels , although clean and changed every day, was worn and need replacement. Good air conditioning but a little difficult to adjust it. Good breakfast , but beware that you have to have with you the vouchers they give you at the reception. Overall a good choice considering also the price.
good located, within the walking distance from the main attractions, this hotel is offering some nicely furnished but rather small rooms. When we stayed it was impossible to adjust the heater so the room was wery hot. Good breakfast in the nice (but little) zone.
Great location in the very center of the city. Although it's located in a pedestrian area , it's very quiet inside. The reception is located on the 2nd floor. Most of the 4th and 5th floor rooms have a balcony( with no view of the street though) .The rooms spacious enough , nicely decorated, clean and tidy .Their towels definitely need to be replaced. Mostly damaged and worn out (clean though) Breakfast had a satisfying range of foods. Overall an excellent choice.
This hotel would get 5 stars from me normally, but our stay was tempered somewhat by the extremely inadequate air conditioning on some very hot nights. The room was fantastic, huge bathroom, great bed. The breakfast was nothing special, but good enough. Bratislava is beautiful, and this hotel is the perfect base - but please fix your A/C!!
We are currently on a budget holiday interailing through Europe so have stayed in a number of hotels in various countries. This was a lovely surprise. Arrived early but could check in straight away. The room was big and airy and the bathroom spotless...even with a bath! Breakfast was included and buffet style. Plenty to choose from both hot and cold. Staff were friendly and helpful. There is complimentary coffee in the hotel lounge. All this for £75. A bargain! Would definitely recommend.
I spent one night in a standard room. Parking (Opera Parking house) is approx 300 meters away from the hotel (for 25EUR per 24hours). Check in hassle free, we were given a wifi password for 24 hours, 2 vouchers for a welcome drink at a nearby Cuba libre bar and vouchers for a breakfast. The receptionist was OK and smiley. The room itself was spacious, comfy beds. The bathroom was also spacious, but amenity kit was nonexisting, molds in a shower box - basically a wee bit of a disappointment. The breakfast selection just OK, the waiter didn't greet us and actually didn't say a word to anybody, filtered coffee was rubbish. Its location is probably the best thing, millions of cafes and bars at the doorstep. Not entirely sure I would return back to this hotel. I think for that amount of money there will be other choices with clean and nice bathrooms and polite staff.
