Gostei da estrutura do hotel, embora com mobílias antigas, os quartos são amplos e muito arejados, no banheiro da mesma forma, acabamentos antigos mas o chuveiro é excelente. Um dos elevadores estava em reforma. De forma geral gostei muito.

Good hotel with convenient location

Nice hotel with spacious and clean room. Just a walking distance from a large shopping mall. Buffet breakfast is rich. I also tried their buffet dinner, which was not huge but appropriate kill hunger if one does not want to go out in the evening.

It was a great pleasure to stay again there. I enjoyed my stay and will come back in March. I tried a different hotel last trip but decided to go back to Grand Bittar because is great !

While the room was nice and clean, there were two problems with my stay: first the check-in. Having arrived ten minutos before midnight I was told to wait until midnight so that a new cycle could start. I have never seen that. Second, they have charged me for internet access which I have not seen in several years.

It is a great place. Not happy that wifi is extra, also family can't visit you unless you pay extra. Not a great thing. Nice walking distance to many places. Could be better. Room needs new carpets.

Nice hotel close to a Shopping Mall

Hotel close to Shopping Mall, area was not safe by night.The hotel staff usually do not give rooms before 1:00 or 2:00 PM. Some of us wait 8 hours for the room. One unpleasant surprise was the charges for using the internet. There is no free internet in the rooms or in the public areas of the hotel. Using the TV was very difficult and odd. There was no information about the need of two different controllers and the free channels were very limited and no CNN or international new.

Patrimônio Histórico ou Teste de Sobrevivência?

É um verdadeiro museu a céu fechado! Tenho certeza de que, na época da fundação da capital, devia ser o auge do glamour, recebendo os grandes nomes da política. Hoje, no entanto, ele parece ter decidido que parar no tempo é uma virtude – ou talvez só não conseguiu seguir em frente. As tomadas são tão antigas que eu tive medo de ligar o carregador e acender uma chama olímpica. O quarto me presenteou com uma alergia tão forte que cheguei a pensar que era um evento histórico reencenando a poeira da construção de Brasília. Os guarda-roupas estão tão podres que, se você ouvir bem, dá pra escutar os cupins discutindo quem vai comer a próxima prateleira. E o controle do ar-condicionado? Um fóssil! Segurei com tanto cuidado que parecia estar manuseando um objeto arqueológico da era JK. Honestamente, fiquei na dúvida se o hotel ainda está aberto por nostalgia ou porque virou patrimônio tombado. De qualquer forma, me senti parte da história – literalmente enterrado nela.
