Our family had a great visit. The Getaway is a q quick walk to the beach and had room for us all. The new parents especially liked the privacy of the upper floor primary suite where babies could snooze, without the adults having to hush. The pool design is the the most unique I have seen: areas of varying depths, ramping to deeper areas, an area for lounging with a table, and all warmed by the hot tub overflow.

Great Home

My wife, our 9 year old daughter, and mother in law had a great stay. We have stayed at numerous properties and this met all our needs. I am an owner of a VRBO myself so I like when I stay at a place that checks all the boxes! Would certainly stay here again! The White’s

Spring Break

There was a great deal of room to spread out. The screened porch was our favorite place from coffee in the morning to relaxing time after the kids were in bed. The garage parking was a problem du.nnnnarralleyaccessaccess.problem

Family Stay

Stay was excellent most of the time. The commode seat was broke when we arrived, pinched my leg. The person who my husband talked to was very rude and let us know that the toilet seat was not an emergency. i get that, but no need to be rude. Two kitchen chairs were cracked, but no harm done, just made sure the company knew not to charge me for damage i didn't do. The upstairs bed is not comfortable at all. no other complaints, the stay was in a beautiful place and my family really liked having a house, not a condo.

Good stay but we had a few issues

I will start this by saying we would stay here again, but we did have some issues. First was the pool. The heater/spa worked on the first night, but at some point in the next day or 2 it stopped working and the pool filter component was leaking. Reported the leaking and later that the spa was not working. The pool component was replaced on Wed night of our stay and was reported that there was an issue with a temperature component that needed approval to fix. It was not fixed before our stay ended. The pool got really cold since it never gets any sun. It made the pool use later in the week not too great plus we were without the spa as well. The beds were not the best and a few of us did not sleep well. It was certainly odd that the 2nd master bedroom only had a tub, but we knew that going in. The kitchen was a little more sparse than other places we have rented (for example kitchen utensils), but we managed. The week was good though. I enjoyed seeing the sunrise from the house and the beach was just a short walk. The size of the house worked well for my family.

Great location

The house is in a great location in Bradenton Beach. Close to everything you would want. Very walkable too The house could however, use some updating and a deep cleaning. The showers are in need of new clean caulk. The beds are very uncomfortable. We had to purchase a 3 inch foam mattress topper for any comfort. The furniture is in need of being replaced. It’s very uncomfortable if you have any low back issues. There is no shower in the main floor master bathroom. I guess it says that in the description but I must have not seen it. I thought it was very unusual to not have one and it would be very easy to install one. The kitchen was decently equipped but could definitely use some new cookie sheets and kitchen towels so take your own. We definitely liked having all hard floors. So much easier to maintain and they don’t feel as gross as carpet. There was enough room to spread out. Especially upstairs in the second living room and the view from upstairs is very very nice. We always enjoy our stay in Bradenton Beach, but the house could definitely use some cleaning and updating
