The room was lovely, the patio out back with the stellar view of the Yellowstone River was worth the price of admission. A lovely property, great location, and terrific dining. I'll definitely visit again, and recommend it to other travelers.

The property was beautiful being right on the river, it is very quiet and peaceful. The hot water in the rooms does not last very long if you have multiple people. It is a about a 40 minute drive to the northern entrance of the park. The front desk workers were very nice as well. I would avoid the restaurant, it was one of the worst dining experiences of my life, but also one of the more expensive. You have to make reservations which the front desk worker did for me and I got a text confirmation. Once we walked in, we were looked at like we didn't belong there. She asked if we had reservations and you could tell she was flustered. She repeatedly said, well I don't have your reservation, I tried showing her my text confirmation, but she put her hand up and repeated that the reservation did not come through. We then waited to be seated. When it came time to order, my husband ordered the special, but at the same time the table of eight next to us was also ordering. Our waitress stopped taking our order, waited for him to take the table of eight, where they ordered the last of the specials, then proceeded to tell us that the special was gone and he had to order something else. It was the oddest thing I've ever seen. Overall the whole experience lasted 1.5 hours. We had already eaten at several wonderful places around the same price point in the days prior- the other restaurants were not only more welcoming but their food was actually good.

Very nice lodge located right next to Yellowstone River. Room was clean and nice. One of our beds was not very comfortable and also A.C. unit didn't work properly and was noisy. Otherwise great location. Good food for continental breakfast. Would like to return at some point!

Okay accommodations but great value and view. Wonderful breakfast!

Absolutely beautiful location and the view was stunning! After several nights in standard hotels...this place was a real gem! My only issue with it was that we couldn't stay longer!

I was pleased to find this beautiful spot at the last minute when many other places were booked. It was a pleasant, relaxing way to end a week long business trip. The best food I'd had all week, and a sky full of stars. The sound of the river was soothing. Just lovely.

I was on a business trip and had one night to do something for myself off the beaten path. Since I waited until the last minute to find a place I was having a hard time finding vacancies. Thinking I was going to have to settle for something cheap and unsavory, I was delighted to find this place. Quiet, with a lovely view from the room and the patio. I saw the Milky Way for the first time in ages!! And had a delicious meal at the restaurant, where they were happy to accommodate my food restrictions without lifting an eyebrow. It was the best meal I'd had in Montana all week. I would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful views of Yellowstone river and surrounding mountains. Jim the caretaker was a wonderful host. Deer outside in the field each night. Relaxing and nice accommodations for our family. About an hour's drive to the north entrance to Yellowstone.
