Great quiet spot.

We came up for a two day tennis tournament. Melrose is a nice little town and the house was on a very quiet street.

Trip to Salem!

This was such a great getaway location. The neighborhood was so cute and quiet! The rental was super cozy. My kids loved the back yard! It was the perfect location between Boston and Salem

Comfortable and convenient location

This location was perfect walking distance (half mile) to the train station to get into Boston. Near the train station were many shops and restaurants. Beds were comfortable. No complaints from this crew. Would stay again!

Excellent host, very easy check-in, check-out. Good communication. This is a nice neighborhood in a safe and cute community. More seating in the living room would help, there was only the couch when we were there. Wi-fi is slow and water pressure on the weaker side, but this is a nice space with a good host.

Lovely home

The home is just as pictured. Responsive & accommodating hosts. We were able to relax on our vacation without any worries. Would book again. Also one underrated thing I should add - There is an air fryer.

Fantastic Location

We greatly enjoyed staying at this property! The two bedrooms were spacious, the kitchen and living room had everything we needed, the place was spotless, and the back patio was adorable. We could not have been more pleased with the location - safe, quiet street, and walkable to the T, shops, groceries, CVS, restaurants, and green spaces. The host was incredibly communicative and we were well informed throughout our entire visit. We would most definitely stay again!

Perfect Place to Rest

We found this VRBO to be the perfect headquarters for our visit to Boston and Salem. Quiet neighborhood. VRBO is the bottom floor of a house with completely separate entry. The place was immaculate and comfortable.

Perfect Location

This house was everything we needed it to be- perfect location for us to visit family in a very quaint neighborhood, close to downtown. There are some quirks, like sloping floors, but otherwise we were satisfied. The property was clean, but we were not provided with any trash bags and only had half a roll of toilet paper for a 4 day stay with a family of 4-- easy to fix, just may need to plan for a provisions run!

Loved It.

Anisha, the owner, was fantastic. Very prompt and extremely helpful. Check in and checkout was simple. The apartment was very nice and clean. My family enjoyed our stay there. It is conveniently located near the Oak Grove station making it easy to get downtown.

Beautiful apartment

We really enjoyed our stay at this home in Melrose. The apartment is very comfortable and spacious with all of the amenities you need. Our host was incredibly responsive and helpful. The location is great - within walking distance of Melrose Main Street. The home is beautifully decorated and has a lively outdoor space to sit and enjoy the sunshine.

Good stay

Quiet area and clean apartment. The off street parking is a huge plus. It is a multi family house and it is an old house (apartment is recently renovated) so you will hear every step upstairs, every noise, every rattle so keep that in mind if you want quiet all the time. It is close to the city which is great for sight seeing

Clean home with everything you need

The home was clean. It was a wonderful neighborhood. Very quiet. Sadly quiter than where I live, and the area is bigger. I'm jealous of the quiet there. Everything that we needed was at the home. Grocery close by. We enjoyed the stay.

Breath of gresh air

Incredibly neat and clean apartment close to the T making trips to Boston very convenient. The apatment is situated in a quiet family neighborhood, so it was perfect for my elderly mom and aunt, and young teen children. We could not have asked for anything better.

OK place, but a bit cumbersome with public transport. It was also smaller than expected, with tiny bathroom and no separate half bath. We were also woken most nights by the upstairs neighbors even when they tried to be quiet. We were late in booking something close to Boston, but a next time we’ll find something closer to town.

Description of property did not explain upstairs tenants. Kitchen refrigerator has broken water and ice maker. Had to purchase toilet paper. Bathroom receptacle had banana peel. Only one towel per room provided. It is however in a great location.

Absolutely great location to Boston downtown. Great communication. If you are some one who likes to sleep past 630AM this might not be the best choice unless you sleep heavy. The upstairs tenants are a young family with small kids and you hear every footstep above you. The furniture is nice looking but a bit light weight. Kitchen was well equipped minus paper goods like paper towels and also toilet paper. Be prepared to run to the store- only minutes away. Back deck is amazing but underfurnished for living space. Definitely consider it but check for improvements.
