Lots of conveniences- fridge/freezer, microwave, hot plate, other kitchen needs., decent size, good parking. Very dirty room and bathroom. Bed needs to be replaced and pillows. Such a nice lady checked us in. Perfect for a single guy working in the area for a few days or a week.
The Staff! The lady that checked us in and working at Fat Jacks, was an absolute pleasure to meet! The food was great, huge portions, highly recommend, compliments to the cook! The motel is a motel and perfect for the price! The staff made this place a great place to stop!

I was tired of driving and this motel was just off the hwy so very convenient. I booked on line but had to phone for manager to come down. She was very nice and gave us a couple of cold pop.
It was nice to just relax and found a tv channel that was classic tv. Was nice watching shows I watched years ago.
Communication was great! Check in was a breeze and the unit had everything we need for a quick stay. AC was strong enough to cool the place and the bathroom was very spacious.
The rooms / motel need some TLC. The water never ran clear in the bathroom no matter how long I let the tap run. The air conditioner while appreciated was very loud. Staff was lovely. Good motel for a quick over night stay if you’ve got no other option.
The owner and all of the staff are absolutely amazing! Young is so kind and the accommodations were wonderful. The units are basically as big as a two-bedroom apartment. All of them have full kitchens and if you get a unit with two queen beds, the two beds are separated by a wall partition which is really nice :-) they also allow dogs!
I had to stay here because of work and I would definitely go back and I would recommend anyone to stay here.
Thank you Young and staff for being so welcoming! See you soon!

If you need a one night stay on your way through to somewhere else, and you’re on a budget, this is the place for you. Housekeeping was good and the staff in the restaurant are very kind. Breakfast is not served but there’s a kitchenette. In its heyday I imagine this was a pretty decent motel. Walk to the back for an amazing view of the canyon.
Its a motel in the middle of nowhere so expectations were not high to begin with. It's old and dated, the room itself was in slightly rough shape, bed was uncomfortable, bathroom smelled weird. Staff was great with the check-in process and you get a free drink though. Overall, it served its purpose for us for one night.

Beautiful location covered by forestry and near the Fraser River. It's an older hotel but bedding and room was clean which was nice. It was quiet. The hotel check in is in the restaurant. It doesn't have a traditional lobby check in area, in case anyone is curious. We had a comfortable sleep.

Above the historic Fraser river and the railway. An amazing feat build that through the mountains along with the highway of many tunnels. Close Hell's gate an amazing jiint Usa/Canda project to save the salmon runs. History makes the trip more enjoyable but the nature is also quite spectacular.
For $100 and a bed to sleep in it was ok. There is a railway track close to the property that does have rail traffic running all night and lots of highway truck noise. The property is in desperate need of upgrade to bring it into the 80’s however the staff is very friendly and accommodating. The food at the restaurant beside the motel offers good home style cooking.

We enjoyed staying at this motel. The rooms are quite small, but they are perfect for an overnight stay. The owners of the property are updating and renovating units. The sleeping area of our unit has been renovated - with new paint, microwave, fridge and television. The bathroom has yet to be done, so was a bit dingy. The staff are quite friendly. The restaurant serves up a decent meal.
We selected this motel as it allowed dogs and had 2 queen beds. The lino in the kitchen was lifting. The beds and pillows were lumpy and uncomfortable. The top of the fridge had dead bugs and hadnt been wiped. The scrubpad in the kitchen was very worn and dirty looking. I would have been happy paying the room rate for one of the renovated rooms, but not for the one we stayed in. The office didn't open until noon and we left at 9 am. Still waiting for the charge on my credit card and my receipt.

Checkin was good. Maybe I’df you get one of the newer rooms it might be ok. We were put in an old original room that was dated and musty smelling. We found another place, left after we had already paid for this place. Have stayed in hotels for last 14 days and this was the worst.
The room was filthy and run down! Cob webs, bugs and the room had about about 6 flies buzzing around. No front desk with clerk you have to check in at the till in the run down resturant. Resturant hours are only noon till 7:30pm. Most of the people occupying the rooms were workers but overall no issues. I paid $164.58 for one night which IMO for this room was way over priced.
Cleaning lady was quite nice but we would not have been able to check in had she not been there. We arrived at 8:00PM which is not unreasonable to expect there to be a front desk attendant at. Shout out to her for being a real gem but the rest of the situation was miserable.
The unit we stayed in was attached to some sort of housing or long-term rental situation and the walls were PAPER thin. The room itself was falling apart and was clearly an afterthought designed to increase occupancy. Felt like a Vancouver special in terms of being just tacked on to an existing unit. Do not believe the pictures. We paid 120 dollars expecting a reasonable room and were clearly catfished.
When we checked out which was not overly early for a hotel (7:30 AM), the front-desk was once again closed and we had to call the owner who had advised us to lock the door and leave our keys in the room. I understand that this is a small operation and don't expect round the clock service, but expecting someone to be there from 6AM to 10PM is pretty standard for a small town hotel/motel.
Also not advertised: This place is right next to a trailer park and has buildings with broken out glass sitting right next to the units. Not a great look and definitely not in the pictures.
Don't be fooled like I was. The people associated with the business were friendly enough, but this is clearly some sort of money grab. I could have handled any one of the above gripes alone, but in concert it's unacceptable.
