Well the place is located in the city center of Bordeaux, so its very easy to get there from the train station or to the airport (bus number1). Within 10 mins on foot to everywhere. The staff were nice, breakfast was okay and we felt great the whole time. The price for a double room was 90 Euros a night so i really recommend it The bathroom was a bit smelly i think the pipes and we heard the street a bit sometimes, even tho the sleep quality was great

Coeur de City Hotel Bordeaux is a really great hotel with a very nice location in the ancient city of Bordeaux, the staff is extremly friendly and welcome you from the very first moment, the hotel has very clean rooms with a fine atmosphere, close to the hotel you find excellent restaurants and cafes. I'm looking foward to my next stay in the Coer de City - THANK YOU - MERCI !! Lucas, BERLIN

A delightfully friendly hotel, situated in an ideal location. My single room was basic, very clean and quiet. Aircon and TV provided. Shower was excellent. Breakfast (€10) was plentiful and varied. Inevitably, restaurants, cafes, bistros are in abundance. Logistics were/are reasonably straightforward. The bus shuttle takes you to Gare Saint-Jean ( NB 20:30 is the cut off). There is, also, a no 1 local bus, which is a 45/50 minute trip. From the station, take the Tramlines C (pink), €1.60. I would suggest getting off at Quinconces ( 10 minutes walk to hotel) or Place de la Bourse (15 minutes) Due to arriving late, I took a taxi, direct to the hotel - €31 20 minutes approx. Ps I’ve supplied maps. I’ve indicated hotel location, with a black mark/arrow. Hope this helps Merci beaucoup tout le monde pour le sejour. Je reviens bientôt 👍

There are good things and bad things about this hotel. First the positive points. The location is right in the center. The bus ( line 1) from the airport stops about 200 meters from the hotel. It is located in the corner of Place Gambetta, where the pedestian area starts. The mattress of my bed was just right. Not too soft. The staff was also very kind and helpful. Less positive is the strange design of the room. Rooms are minimal in size, but not too cramp, because of the high ceiling. The bathroom door could not close because of a small bedside drawer and the open cupboard was just at the feet of the bed. I had to climb over the bed to get to the other side of the room. I would had built it on a broader part of the room. The airco worked for 2 days and gave up on the 3d day. Breakfast is adequate ( € 10). The hallway and the tiny elevator are smelly, because there is no fresh air. Considering the price it is OK, but with some small changes it could have scored better.

Stayed here for two nights for our anniversary. Our room on the third floor was clean and pleasant but the shower/bathroom was very small. I couldn't fault the hotel really, we were only there to sleep and the staff were excellent and very courteous and very helpful. We had room only so couldn't comment on the breakfast. We felt it was very good value for staying in the heart of a very expensive city. You simply couldn't get a better placed hotel in Bordeaux. We had tea and coffee making facilities and the free sweets are a nice touch. We would stay here again if we go back to Bordeaux.

We stayed here for one night, it’s very well placed but we had difficulty to find it as it doesn’t have a proper sign of it even not the exact name of the hotel!? No lobby, horrible odor from nearby restaurants and the room (small) and not as showed in the website, Not recommended! JB

We had a very good stay in the Coeur de City Clemenceau hotel. Helpfull and friendly personel, a good and clean room with a comfortable bed. We had a room on the 4th floor under the roof. The only minor negative point was that this room only had a (large) skywindow. The breakfast was simple but OK. Wifi on the 4th floor was not too steady, but overall we had internet access. The location is perfect for a citytrip to discover Bordeaux. All in all e hotel to recommend.

Staff very cheerful and accommodating even though we arrived later in evening. The location makes it so easy to walk anywhere in central Bordeaux; Public transport on the doorstep; Price good for area. Would def. recommend if want good staff mixed with excellent location and cost.

We'd booked two rooms for 4 nights, a gift to celebrate two birthdays. The background smell as you entered the hotel was disquieting and got worse as you entered the lift. Stepping out of the lift into an enclosed area it was overpowering - terrible. Fortunately it dispersed in the bedrooms and with the A/C fan running on high we could breathe OK. The bedroom was tiny, a carry on bag (25cms thick) only just fitted between the bottom of the beds and the bathroom wall. The bathroom was tiny and there was no water pressure so trying to have a warm shower meant you had to nod your head to catch the drops !!! The redeeming factors were the beds were comfy, the staff were really nice and the location was superb. We'd paid in advance and didn't have much alternative, so decided we would grin and bear it. Bordeaux is a joy and we would certainly go back - but not to this hotel.

This has to be the smallest shabbiest room we have ever stayed in. There was just enough room to get round the bed but that was it. We did not use the kettle for coffee so cannot comment on this. Storage is not great - a hanging space and a shelf and there was no lighting in that part of the tiny room so you couldnt see what you were doing. The bathroom was totally impractical. The shower was so small you could not wash comfortably and we had to stuff tissues on to the shelf in the shower cubicle to stop the water pouring on to the floor. The shelf above the wash hand basin was supported with what looked like a table napkin and the interior paintwork was marked and stained. On a plus point the view from the window was beautiful and the bed, generous in size, was very comfortable. On the first 2 days breakfast was more than adequate with cereals, fresh bread, croissants and pains au chocolat. Tea and coffee and fruit juice. And then this morning there was no bread and the lady on duty shrugged and pointed to a pan loaf! In France...no fresh bread!!! The situation of the hotel couldn't be better which is such a shame as we won't recommend this hotel to family and friends. It needs some serious maintenance.
