Rodeway Inn & Suites2.0 out of 5.0

We spent one night on a recent trip to Maine. The Inn is off a main road, but the rooms are far enough back that road noise is not an issue. The rooms are clean with a large refrigerator and a microwave. There's a flat screen TV, but we didn't get many stations. They offer a continental breakfast in a small room. The price is right for a restful basic stay.
I spent one night here after searching the area during summertime for a reasonably priced hotel. The hotel is quite old but the room I had ( king room) was clean and tidy, the shower and bathroom area was clean. If you are after a reasonably priced, clean, tidy hotel then this one is worth a look.
I was only looking for a hotel for a one night stay so the Rodeway Inn and Suites showed up as the best value. The room was exceptionally clean and the staff was extremely friendly! I would stay here for longer if ever passing through Maine again. It's location is convenient to US1 and not too far from some restaurants and stores. It's not in a prime location but it is reasonably priced for those on a tighter budget and willing to drive to the beach or attractions. Again, while the hotel was nice, you won't find a friendlier staff.
Our bedspreads had stains on. Peeled them off. More food crumbs & stains on blanket. Took a shower the next morning. Went to hang shower foot mat towel back up. Bottom was dirty from floor. Went for continental breakfast. Floor was sticky to the point of our shoes making noises each step. Left. Unfortunately booked through 3rd party and would take an act of god to agree to who gave us a refund.
Our group arrived at 2 am, a day early. The nice lady got up and accommodated us very nicely. She was very nice and helpful. The rooms were perfect size and very comfortable. Almost a small apartment setting. Our room as well as the other room we booked, were both clean, smoke free and comfortable. We will be back in October!
This is our 3rd visit in 3 years to this place and we have always considered it good value and comfortably furnished. It has always been clean and friendly and the breakfast is OK as far as orange juice, bagels, muffins and coffee are concerned. They also have fresh fruit and make your own waffles.
The location was perfect for us. Check in and check out were easy and convenient, and any needs we had (more towels, etc) were met promptly; the reception staff was friendly and helpful enough. Linens etc are old and worn, but I am not picky when it comes to this - everything was clean enough, and the rooms were cleaned well each day. BUT...the room we were first assigned had a horrible smell (I am not very odor - sensitive) - a very strong maybe mildew smell - We were moved to another room that was better, but the next day that room had the same strong pungent smell. Don't know if it was from the heater or what, but despite the low cost and nice staff I cannot stay here again.
My wife and I were looking for a place to live and we stayed her a few times.was always clean and staff friendly. Prices very good and near by to downtown Brunswick.also a recommended place for family and friends.
This Roadway Inn is nice and comfortable hotel. This is well managed by owner Mr Sunil Patel, he takes good care of the place. Roadway Inn is conveniently located off the major highway in Brunswick. Nice restaurants near by. I highly recommend.
Trying to travel on a budget, so we chose this place advertised for $90 p/ night. They already had our money, so we were stuck when we discovered left over dirty towels in our bathroom. This is before the toilet plugged up and husband had to plunge it himself. Dishes in cupboard were dirty..... Fridge on its last legs, and noisy. A/C noisy...... Coffee maker was miniscule, but fortunately, Starbucks is just down the road. Second night, the motel was mostly empty, but for some reason, management put a family with at least two,....maybe 12, children next to us. What's with THAT??? Lesson learned. Pay more, relax and sleep more.
