Wonderful property.
It was a very cute property nestled in the middle of the mountains and the little mountain towns. It was clean and quaint and had everything we needed.
We throughly enjoyed our stay!
Wonderful stay in a beautiful area with very convenient parking right by our room.
No dedicated parking spot, so coming back after dinner when the tap room is open it wasn’t easy to park.
Convenient for an overnight stay while enjoying a couple of days on The Blue Ridge Parkway. Couple of good restaurants nearby. Room was clean and beds comfortable. The property looked to be well cared for. Staff was friendly and helpful upon checkin. The hotel had a tap room but we did not have an opportunity to check it out. Breakfast was not included with our stay.
The owners were so friendly and accommodating! Great prices and super clean. We loved it and Will be back!
It is absolutely amazing here! Super family friendly with lots of outdoor play space and games. Definitely worth a stay. Close to Linville attractions and Grandfather mountain. Friendly and attentive staff.

Room was dark and up two flights of stairs, the second of which was extremely narrow. Room was not the one pictured, very noisy, and no mention of it being in the attic with that very narrow staircase. Shower was very small, about 20”x20” and the water pressure was non existent. Towels were very thin and small. Outside property was nice and staff was pleasant, but I wouldn’t stay there again.
This is not a quiet property. This is more of a place groups go to party.
I liked the hometown feel of the lodge
Located within a 5-minute walk of Linville River, The Pineola is within 2 miles (3 km) of Pisgah National Forest. This 68-room lodge welcomes guests with conveniences like free in-room WiFi and free self parking.
Guests can enjoy cable TV and stay connected with free WiFi. Microwaves, coffee makers, and hair dryers are also available.
The Pineola features free WiFi in public areas and barbecue grills. Free parking is available if you drive. Helpful staff is there to provide front-desk service during limited hours, as well as offer insight about the area. This lodge also has a picnic area.

Good point!! We have a nice, wide parking spot in front of each room — but they’re not numbered and dedicated or reserved for each room. I’ll share that idea with my husband for possible future improvements.
