We traveled to Bonaire with a group as part of our first diving vacation. The folks in the dive shop and those that took care of us on land treated us like old friends. We had a fantastic experience. I would not hesitate to recommend this resort.

Good stay overall. Stayed in a Junior suite and it was very large. Food was fine and the diving was very good. Toucan diving is good but could take some notes from other dive operations. Would return.

This was the second time this year we spent a week at Plaza Resort Bonaire. The facilities were outstanding, a comfortable room, great pool, and since we were here to dive - the Toucan Dive Shop was top notch. From Hagen overseeing everything to Flo our boat captain and the many experienced and excellent dive masters - our diving was awesome. When we finished our dives, the ScuBar was very convenient and provided quick energy and cold beverages. When we went to meals at the Tipsy Seagull, our wait staff person, Quincy, made sure we were well taken care of. All you had to do was ask and you were certain to get what you were asking about. I am not sure when we will make our next visit to Bonaire, but if all goes well, it will be another awesome stay and the Plaza Resort Bonaire. Many thanks.

This small all inclusive resort is well worth considering if your visiting this island. The rooms are massive, air conditioned, well furnished with separate wc and bathroom. WiFi is available in most areas including the beach. The meals are all buffet style with a nightly cooking station or BBQ. Staff encountered were all pleasant and polite. The beach and pool areas have plenty of sun beds with or without shade. I never used the diving facilities however they seem comprehensive and well used.

The grounds were beautiful. The room was huge and spotless. The dive operation, Toucan Diving, was flawless. The beach was beautiful. The reef right off the beach was teaming with colorful fish, perfect for snorkeling or diving. The staff was friendly and helpful. The food was typical buffet food.

We were on the HAL Koningsdam and opted for a Day Pass at this resort. First of need to take a cab, the resort is a 10 minute walk from the cruise ship pier. The pass we purchased was $15.00 USD, but this included the pool, which we did not use. The $10.00 USD pass would have been just fine. It included a drink and a beach chair...that's it. The beach had a mixture of some sand and some rocks (really coral), but it was fine. The snorkeling was above average, but not great. Lots of dead coral...but plenty of fish. We saw squid, an octopus, and some turtles in addition to the regular fish. We changed prior to returning to the ship, it was a very pleasant day.

#1 Toucan Diving is amazing! Great staff with expert dive masters who immediately adjust to your level of diving experience and comfort. We had first time divers getting their Open Water Certification and some with over 2,500 dives yet we were all happy with the service. Excellent boats. #2 Wonderful beach called 18 palms that is perfect for shore diving day or night. My wife is a non-diver and she snorkeled there everyday. Of course sunbathing, volleyball and sand castles are also encoraged. #3 Wonderful all inclusive policy gives you great meals with lots of choices. The Coconut Crash bar is always open with wide selection of fun tropical vacation drinks as well as any regular drinks you might want. It is right on the beach with a volley ball/beach-tennis court. #4 Fantastic fun staff like Quincy at the Tipsy Seagull who make sure you are comfortable and pampered. #5 My wife is a non-diver and so it was great that town was within easy walking distance. She said she loved the town and entire island because it felt friendly and safe. Macho Scooter rental right there on the property allows you to explore the entire island at a very reasonable price. It’s definitely worth the time and money.

Best place ever for feeling pampered and welcomed. Rooms and bathrooms huge. Meals magnificient. Staff the best anywhere. There are nothing but beautiful views. Enough staff to insure every inch of the resort is kept perfect.

Third stay at this property. Restaurant upgrades over the last couple years were very good. BBQ night is a highlight. Diving operations and dive shop are excellent. Was a bit crowded this time as divers previously booked elsewhere in Caribbean affected by hurricanes ended up in Bonaire. One or two large cruise ships in port everyday made the town crowded. Most businesses, including Plaza, handled the increased business well. Our group of 21 had a reserved area for dining and our waiter, Quincy, was a true entertainer who made our group feel very special. All in all, another good trip and I will probably return.

Staff was great. The shore diving was very clean. The dive shop was helpful. Tanks were readily available and quickly delivered to any of the 3 entry points shore diving. the grounds were kept in wonderful condition.
