Situated out of the centre, it was reassuring to find dedicated car parking spaces in the car park opposite the hotel. Upon crossing the road and checking in we were directed (rather than assisted) to our room on the 5th floor which I had upgraded to a suite. The upgrade was not worth the additional cost. The bedroom itself was comfortable enough, the lounge area and kitchenette were superfluous for a one night stay. The breakfast (taken on an open-air terrace) was good although getting at the buffet was awkward and difficult as it was set out at the end of a narrow room with a bottle-neck of guests.

This hotel is an a great location to access the city centre with it only taking around 15 minutes to walk. The bus transport from the station drops you metres away from the hotel. The room was very large with lovely views. The breakfast was excellent and all the staff on breakfast were so pleasant and helpful. We did have some confusion over the booking of this hotel and the woman on desk wasn't very helpful, perhaps because she didn't understand but that is my only fault with the hotel. I would stay here again and would recommend.

Great hotel at a very reasonable price. Great service and a great breakfast. Large room with a very comfortable bed. The location is walkable to the main attractions but if you need to take a bus the stop is very close by.

This hotel is slightly outwith Bologna City Centre but is well served by local buses, either a number 13 or 19. Comfortable rooms with air conditioning, ensuite, safe, plenty of hanging space for clothes as well as triple glazing to keep out the noise from the busy road. Breakfast can be taken on an outside patio area or inside if you prefer. Plenty of choice at breakfast including fresh fruit, croissants, pastries, cold meats, cereal, juice as well as tea or coffee. Reception staff very helpful with tips on what to do in Bologna and travelling information. The hotel is a 20-25 minute tax ride to the airport. Would definitely recommend it and would stay here again next time in Bologna.

A lovely Hotel, very reasonable costs, a smart room and the best breakfast you could wish to find, conveniently placed for the town with a good bus service. When I go back to Bologna I shall certainly stay here again.

Not far from the old center (15-20min by feet or in 5 min by bus)The room is quite large, even for three people. There is very comfortable decor, kitchenette with bar, stools, sink, fridge. Good solution for the family trips.

What stands out most about this property is the high standards they maintain in hiring and training personnel. . Their staff went the extra mile and provided exceptional service, meeting all requests. The mini suites, while in need of better decor, were large, comfortable and clean, The breakfast,, consisting of home-made bakery goods was excellent.

Room: Our room was a junior suite and was larger than my college apartment here in the US. Very modern decor, kitchenette with bar, stools, sink, fridge. Big clean bathroom with floor to ceiling marble. Very attractive room. Amenities: The complimentary breakfast buffet had everything you could think of. Sausage, ham, salamis, cheese, decadent pastries filled with cream or nutella from a local bakery. I could go on and on writing all the different foods they had, but you would have to be insanely picky to not find something you liked here. Of course they had an espresso machine (I found out basically every business in Italy does), and would make your caffe, capuccino, or American coffee for you. Also the patio outside of the dining room serves as an open terrace for guests, so we were able to relax out there in the evening. Location: There is a mini-market (called IN's Mercato) right down the street where we were able to buy fresh mozzarella, proscuitto, bread, olives, bruschetta, drinks, chocolate, etc. to make ourselves a nice authentic lunch for only 10 euros! (with more than enough left over to pack sandwiches to eat on the train the day we left). There is also a post office right nearby if you want to mail postcards home. Hotel is walking distance to historic center of Bologna, and almost the entire route is shaded by buildings or porticos. To Do: Of course there are breathtaking churches, architecture, and museums all over, but check their hours online before you walk there because some are closed one random day of the week. The shopping in Bologna far exceeded my expectations. There is a very high-end shopping district on and around Via del Independenzia. The most prominent church in Bologna is actually not downtown, but a 4km walk away from the hotel. It is called Sanctuary of the Madonna di San Luca, and it is worth the uphill hike. The views of the countryside and city from the top are amazing, the architecture of the church is beautiful, and the walk along the paved, portico-covered route is a great way to burn off all that gelato. Wear comfortable shoes and bring a water bottle. There is drinkable water pump at the top near the benches. If you want to go inside the church they close for a couple hours midday, so check that before leaving! The food...the first bite of dinner we had in Bologna was so good I almost started laughing. This town is all about food. It was not overpriced anywhere we went. People from the US freak out about having to pay $1.50 for a 1 liter bottle of water big enough to share for 2 hello, the espresso here is $1, gelato is $2, overall the scales are in your favor at the end of the day. The only reason I did not give this hotel 5 stars, was because our AC was not working properly. However, we did not mention it, so I don't think it's fair to take off more than one star. We were told by so many people before coming to Italy that they don't keep their AC as cold as we do, etc, we thought that was how it would be everywhere. But then we stayed at 3 other hotels all over Italy during our trip that were of similar price range and rating, and found the AC everywhere else to be functioning just fine for our standards. The temp outside was in the mid 90s in Bologna when we stayed, and our room was at least 88 degrees at night with the AC "running." We keep our thermostat at 77 at home, so I was not concerned about hotels being hotter in Europe, as I prefer to be warmer than most. I wish we had mentioned it, because they probably would have done something or moved us to a different room, but like I said, we didn't know any better, and didn't want to be "those Americans" complaining about European AC. Now we know it legitimately was not functioning adequately. Also the wi-fi was in-and-out at times, was strong near the lobby, but the further away you got, it would weaken and start cutting out. Most of the time could not connect from our room. We told them at the desk, and they reconnected us, but then as we walked back to our room lost signal again. I really don't care that much about the wifi, but it was nice to be able to look up hours for museums and restaurants.

There are a number of reasons I like this hotel: 1) proximity to airport (15 minute taxi ride for 14€; 2) great value; 3) extremely congenial staff (Emiliano spectacular and ordered a pizza to be delivered for us when we arrived at 1am); spotlessly clean room; 4) spacious mini suite with kitchenette and work station with fast wifi; 5) incredible breakfast accommodating ALL eating preferences - was the best breakfast I have ever had at a hotel in Italy, and that says a lot. Highly recommend this hotel for travelers not wishing to stay in Central Bologna. We chose it because of our late arrival last night and ease of getting back to the airport this morning to pick up a rental car. We will be back!

It was a 15 minute walk to old city, but under collonade [which Bolognese call porticos] so quite pleasant. Our room was spacious and comfortable, good bed and excellent shower, breakfast good. Even provided a kitchenette, no use to us since we wanted to enjoy Bologna cuisine, but could be very useful if one were staying > 3 days.
