This modern hotel is conveniently located close to the city centre of Bologna. The rooms are very spacious and modern. Reception staff was friendly and efficient. The breakfast was also quite extensive and nice available also in the terrace.
We were in Bologna for one night. The room was OK if a bit on the small size, but the A/C was not working well, despite being at full speed, and in the heat wave surrounding Bologna that was one very long night! On the plus size, breakfast was pretty good on a nice terrace with a good choice of foods, and the price was OK.
We were in bologna overnight en-route to Mugello and this hotel was in a great location and easy to get to via car. The availability of a car park was the main factor for us. The room we had was a little dated, although it was clean. It's obvious from the photos that there are better rooms at the hotel. WiFi was slow but that was not a big issue for us. Breakfast was good, plenty of choice and good service. We paid €66 euros for one night stay which seemed about right for what we had. It is about a 30 minute walk to the main square of the city which was a nice walk.
I was staying in Bologna for 5 nights and wanted to be comfortable so selected this hotel because of its 4 star rating. After booking I accepted an email offer to upgrade to a suite for only 6 Euros extra a night. I was so sorry I did because it was not a particularly nice space with a kitchen for self-catering that I certainly didn't need and a bathroom that was poorly laid out. There was no value at all for me. There were minimum toiletries given until the 4th night when I suddenly got slippers and toiletry extras. The breakfast however was good and the staff were pleasant but really all in all this is not 4 star if I compare to others that are. It is really a good 3 star. The hotel is not in the old centre it is a solid 20 minute walk though there are two buses that do go past regularly. It had lots of parking so it would be a good place for people on a driving holiday but for me, a solo traveller it was disappointing.
We had booked to stay at this hotel as it was within a good distance from the train station and the Ducati museum, which was the main reason we came to Bologna. The hotel was clean and fresh and our room was a good size with a large bathroom that had the best shower we have had in Italy. There is an outside terrace area that is used for breakfast and available for use during the day or evening. Within walking distance to the city centre, but convenient for buses also. Staff were friendly and helpful. Would stay again should we return to Bologna.
For the price (which we felt was moderate to expensive), the room was a huge disappointment. Upon entering it smelled of so much smoke! And there was a puddle of water on the floor, that would not go away no matter how much we wiped it up (likely due to a leaky air conditioner). The room was also dusty and not well mopped. We also noticed not 1, but 2 spiders in the curtains - gross! The overall place was tired and dirty, and I would not recommend it at all.
Parking availability was one of the main considerations for us and since the hotel provided free secure underground parking we chose to stay there. But we got more than we bargained for. The room was really a suite, a large bright room with a small entry hall and a balcony, and a kitchenette with a bar. Modern bathroom facilities. The room had a sofa bed so it was good for 4 people. Breakfast was great and the staff excellent. The only negative thing was the location as it was about 1.5 miles to the city center. Parking is limited, it could hold about a dozen cars so write the hotel to reserve a spot.
This hotel is located not far from city center, and it is quite easy to get everywhere from there. My room was rather small with almost no free space in it. Still everything was clean, staff was friendly and breakfast was good (the pastry was especially amazing) but as to my taste they could add some vegetables to it. The hotel has WiFi but internet connection is veeeeeery slow, so don't expect much from it. Generally it was OK for business trip when I just needed a place to sleep with basic comfort level and located in a convenient place.
We staid here for 2 nights. The hotel is not far from the airport, for 12€ with a taxi. The room was clean and big enough. The bathroom was clean, only our bed was to hard. The breakfast was excellent, enough choice. Nice staff. Near the hotel you will find a busstop for 5€ you have a daypass (you can buy this at the magazine shop at the busstop) within 10 minutes you are at the piazza di maggiore. We recommend this hotel.
Booking direct offered us an upgrade to a junior suite which was a good size although to be honest quite basic. There was a kitchenette which we didn't use. I think I might have seen that there's a charge of €10 if you use the kitchen. I hope I'm mistaken because I think that's a very bad policy! I also think it's really bad that no drinking water is provided. The staff were polite and friendly and breakfast was excellent with a huge choice of cakes and pastries, some cold meats, and fresh fruits. Location is just out of the old town.
