We had very high expectations as the pictures they displayshow a very modern, while, full of light and life place. Instead, the room was not much, the floor made of sandstone instead of a warm carpet, pretty clean, but with pretty old refurbishments, out of which some might require some updates. The outside windows create a feeling of old and dusty. In the bathroom we noticed some large insects. I must point that the sheets and the towels are extremely clean and white and are being changed on a daily basis. What. I personally disliked most was the fact that the heating system exists, but does not work. We pointed this on our way out to visit town to the receptionist and she took our room numbers and confirmed she would it on. When we returned, it was still cold. We called the reception and she just now did something to start the system, but the air coming through the vents was still cold, so we just gave up, put a blanket on and went to bed in a semi-cold room. The only excellent detail of our stay was breakfast. There isn't much food like eggs or bacon, but, as for pastries, they had all sorts of them, with fruit, chocolate, vanilla... Everything! Also fresh fruit, cereals, yoghurts, very good Italian coffee. A breakfast to remember!

We picked the hotel because it was close to the BLQ Airport bus stop near Maggiore Hospital and not right in the centre. This meant the price is more reasonable and travel was easy. It ticked all of these boxes. it is a 25 minute picturesque walk to the centre of Bologna getting you used to the colonnades that are such a feature here or a 5 minute walk to a bus stop with frequent services into the centre. The reception provided a really useful map with bus numbers and other helpful information on it. That same walk to the bus stop passes several banks and the stop is next to a tabac where you can buy bus tickets. The hotel is spotlessly clean with good size rooms and bright bathrooms with good size shower but no bath. Free wifi throughout. Do go to the second floor self serve area to eat the continental breakfast with masses of bread, cakes, cereals fruit and coffees made by a barrista for free. We were in a room away from the main road outside and had no issue with street or road noise. Only negative is that it has a small lift and with 7 floors this gets busy at meal times. We used the stairs to save time.

Very easy to find transports (táxi, bus for center, etc). We liked room and staff. Not noise. We stay one night after return from Firenze. We sleep and we visit the center. In reception the staff helped us, given maps, indications for meals, for transports... Excellent. Congratulations.

This is a very good hotel in a great spot very close to the centre of Bologna Very clean and tidy with really nice staff The rooms are a very good size with nice beds I arrived quite late so just needed a light meal and found a very good pizza place 100m away

After 6 days of travel and visiting Museums in Florence we came in Bologna for one night. It was a great choice!! As soon as we entered the room we could tell the difference. We found every amenity we could think of, there was a balcony with a view to a forest opposite the street, there was a kitchenette with a refrigerator hidden behind doors that looked like a big closet! And then another great surprise! The mattresses are from memory foam! The greatest sleep in all my travels!! The breakfast was excellent! So many choices, everything fresh and tasty and a big terrace that you could eat your breakfast or have a coffee or a drink later in a warm day! The stuff was very helpful. In general GREAT choice!!

This hotel was perfect for our overnight stopover, as it is one of the closest accommodations to BLQ airport. It was not difficult to go to the bus station (line 81 or 91, around 8 stops to Bologna Central). Staff was very friendly and helpful. The room itself was clean and spacious, so was the bathroom. Actually, being crowded on the day we arrived, we were upgraded to a suite for no extra cost. Breakfast was included and really good, fresh and various, from ham, cheese, eggs and cakes to tea and very good coffee. Our stay was comfy and we had a quiet room. Highly recommended!

The hotel is very nice and we really enjoyed our stay. It is outside of the ideal centre of Bologna, but piazza Magiore was within 20 mins of walking or 5 mins by bus (bus stops are just in front of the hotel) and Bologna airport is a 12 euro taxi ride away. Our room was big and comfortable and breakfast was plentiful and delicious. There are also some excellent restaurants nearby. We'd like to specially thank Valeria from reception who was so very helpfull and accommodating. Would definitelly recommend!

I stayed 5 days in Suite Hotel Elite at April 2017 during the Bologna Children's Book Fair. It's very easy to go to the fair venue and the old city of Bologna by bus. The bus stop have many bus routes to everywhere (the fair, the city center, the train station). It is just 5 minutes walking from the hotel. From Saffi bus stop, we can take many bus routes. It's very easy to go around Bologna by bus and just cost 1,30 euro/ticket. The breakfast was excellent to start the day, there were a lot of options. The coffee was great. The double room was fantastic with large bathroom and pantry. The staff were very nice and helpful. I would recommend this hotel for anyone who want to explore Bologna. :)

I recommend this hotel for staying the night if your flight has arrived lately, because it is near the Ospedale, where the Aerobus has a stop. We were given a suite although we had payed for a normal room. The room was enormous, with a chaiselongue and even a bar with a little kitchen. It also had a huge balcony surrounding all the room. A detail I didn't like is that it had a narrow shower, instead of a bath tub or a more sofisticated shower. The breakfast had plenty of food, and the pastry was delicious. I would nevertheless not recommend it for a short stay as it is far from the center of the town (although it has bus stops in front of the hotel). The room was clean and it had plenty of amenities.

What a fantastic hotel. Excellent location just walking distance or 5 mins bus route to the old town. Lots of little cafes and restaurants close by. The rooms and bathroom were cosy and smart. Breakfast myself and partner looked forward to every morning with the selection of pastries on offer. It is a nice touch that your coffee is made for you so it's nice and fresh. Friendly staff. An outstanding hotel with real value for money.
