We booked this hotel for a stopover on our journey to Rome and it was a good pick. Close proximity to the motorway, located in an industrial/office area which has not much to offer. On the other hand you can reach city center in about 15 minutes by car or taxi. Property is relatively new, rooms are comfortable. Hotel has no pool, which is not a negative comment, just to be aware of. Breakfast selection is reasonable but nothing special, breakfast area can become busy and a bit messy as it was by the time we went there. Overall good value for money.
Easily accessible location, efficient reception desk personnel, covered car park available on basement floor, room comfortable, clean and spacious. Top class breakfast. Overall, a very pleasant place to stay and at a very decent price. I strongly recommend.
New hotel with huge and nice room, good sound isolate. Very clean. Very good automatic climate sistem in room. Big and nice barhroom. Big and comfortable bed (mayby little tough mattress but I loved like that). Fast free wifi. Safe and minibar in the room. Very modern and nice hotel design. Free parking frint the hotel. Close to big shoping area (Many bars and restaurants, Coop, Piazza Italia, etc). Very good breakfast, many varietety.
The hotel can be best described as a stopover or transient base for visiting Bologna or surrounding towns as it is close to the motorway. The reception staff are very friendly and all speak very good English and other foreign languages. The rooms are tidy, and have aircon, tea and coffee making facilities and a fridge. If you have not hired a car, you should, but the hotel offers a shuttle minibus into and back from Bologna for €10 return per couple if you want to get out and about. There is a local retail estate 20 mins walk which has a supermarket and a smattering of retail outlets. And that is pretty much it! Based on an industrial estate there is no pool or any entertainment, most suited to business meetings or stopovers for lots of coach tours on a budget. As for Bologna, you don't need more than a long weekend to see what's on offer, once you've seen one old building and tasted the pasta that is enough, Rome by comparison has much more to see and do!
Our stay here was great, rooms very clean hot tub bath to relax in great staff and great food. the only issue we have is this place is a little far out for a tourist trip. they offer at shuttle at a great price but returning after 10:30 is a taxi trip which cost us anything from £15-£20 each way if we fell out of line with the bus.
Stayed there 2 times, normal room size with a spacious and very clean bathroom. It is in a remote location, everything is fine as long as you have a car. Plenty of outdoor parking space. The hotel also provides shuttle bus service. Hotel staffs are friendly and helpful. The hotel is very well managed. A large shopping centre where you can find COOP and restaurants is within 10 minutes drive. Breakfast is excellent with wide range of selection. Good value! Definitely will stay there again.
Staying inside old town is better than staying outside. However, it is much more costly. With a car, bike in a box and the usual luggage we decided to stay at Cosmopolitan and we are glad we did. Safe parking together with a shuttle to the centre made it easier. Rooms are quiet with quality mattresses and unusually comfy pillows. Breakfast was diverse and generous. Above our expectations at ghetto very reasonable price.
Stayed here for 3 nights for my partners birthday as we were heading to the Ducati Factory. The rooms were clean and perfect size. Breakfast included in the stay was continental Buffett which had a great choice to offer. The hotel for us was a great location we hired a car and didn't mind driving in to bologna which took no more than 10 mins. Over the road is a shopping centre which was great to look around. Very enjoyable stay.
This hotel is only good for one or two nights as a stop over enroute to other destinations. It is ten minutes out of the city by car. The hotel bus operates at certain times of the day. This is chargeable to your room. But cheaper than a taxi. The only problem with this system they only drop off and pick up at one point in the city, which is a good fifteen minutes walk to the centre of the town. My big complaint with the room was that the bed was rock hard. I did not have a good sleep in four days. I did ask for some other addition to the mattress but this was not available. Due to this fact I would not stay at this hotel again. The facilities are limited. The female staff at the reception were very helpful and room was clean. Breakfasts were average.
