Great villa with spectacular grounds and pool....
We found out during our visit that the owner was a landscape gardener and this was so evident with the wonderful condition of the grounds which made the holiday so special for all the children.
The villa was absolutely ideal for a large family with the three separate bedrooms and a dormitory that could sleep up to 6 children. Each bedroom was equipped with effective air-conditioning units which was essential during the August heatwave.
The description and photographs of the property were completely accurate, and showed the villa exactly how it was.
We were asked to let the owners know our arrival time and as promised they were there to meet us even though it was before the official check-in time. A day or so after our arrival they hosted a drinks evening which enabled us to really get to know both them and the family occupying the adjacent villa.
On arrival the whole villa was spotlessly clean and was very well equipped with two large fridges and two freezers.... really useful with 11 people.
There was an excellent Weber BBQ which we took full advantage of on a number of occasions allowing us to use the large outside eating space so the whole family could be together for meals. The pool was a great size and well maintained, with 8 loungers, which was more than sufficient for our needs.
Although the BBQ was a key to our outdoor eating the kitchen was exceptionally well equipped with all the necessary utensils you could want. There was also an exceptionally good range of plates, glasses etc .
On the couple of occasions that we needed anything, or specific info about the villa and surrounding areas, the owners were very responsive and provided everything we asked for.
The local area is lovely with many places to eat within very short drives.
Anduze, the local town, was beautiful and we spent several evenings enjoying the night market and great restaurants.
Although we thought the deposit was a little on the higher side there was no issues with the return at the end of the vacation.
A great holiday and a villa that we would love to return to in the future. We would whole-heartedly recommend this villa and location to any potential future customers.
