Bought our stay in Deal Grocer. Thus 5 star for the value of money. Totally loved the ambiance, cleanliness and service in this hotel. We were greeted with fruity welcome drinks and in our room was free peanut kisses. Toiletries - forgot the brand but they were perfect as well. Breakfast was alright it's your usual hotel breakfast continental, filipino, etc... If you want to find peace, this is the perfect place. Wouldn't recommend it if first time in Bohol, you might wanna consider the location - but they offer shuttle services. Buuuut, you might not wanna leave the hotel hehe.

This is a perfect place to stay in bohol. I love it here i highly recommend this place for those people who are seeking a peaceful and quite place. this place has a great view with great people and the room is very clean.

At first arrival, going uphill you never think you end up in such a place that looks like something out of an old movie. The entrance reminds you of one of those big town houses in Europe with a big water fountain in the front as you pull up your car in the drive way of small cut stones as well as it has a huge garden wth swings, trees, and yes..PEACOCK! The Peacock Garden has a huge infinity pool that lays uphill which allows you to take in the breathtaking view of Bohol oceans from way above. The rooms are designed to give an impression as if you are in your own house with front porch/balcony that has direct access to the garden and to the pool. The food at the restaurant is great! We stayed 2 days here and ate for lunch and dinner. I gained 4kgs in the 4-5 days i was in Philipines due to the amazing bread and butter combo as well as the meat dishes they had on the menu here! It was absolutely delicious. You have to lay down by the pool or in the garden at night and I can assure you the sky full of stars and the milky way is something that us city folks are not used to!

Three words to describe The Peacock Garden - favorite, incomparable and perfect! Everything here is made and done out of love and concern - from the way the room and food are prepared to the services rendered to the guests. I'm sooo in love with this place! It's my second time to stay here, first one was for business then this January with my family, for my daughter's first birthday getaway. Regardless of the nature of my trip, I'd be happy to go back every so often if I could despite a number of other options in Panglao (which I've already seen as part of my job). For this resort, I can forego my love for the beach and be contented with the infinity pool and view of the ocean and garden. I definitely could not ask for more as the resort's team has never failed to surprise us and attend to our needs, as if we're relatives. The Peacock Garden has definitely set very high standards as to how a resort / hotel should operate. I'll always be happy to recommend it to everyone.

Been here twice and both stays were two of my most wonderful and relaxing vacation ever. Place has a great view, quiet and away from establishments which is what I was looking for. Our room has a wonderful view of the sea and the pool, amazing rooms, amazing food and most of all, amazing staff. Like the best customer service ever. They cater to everything and you don't have to tell them twice or sometimes, you don't even have to tell them at all. They offered the tour of the entire place even tho it's just the two of us. They remember how you want a certain food / drink to be done so no need to repeat on the next meal if you are getting the same stuff. The Bar/Karaoke place was reserved for just us. They allowed us to use it with a Dj and even with our own butler. The receptionists are very accommodating, from the room design to the car we wanted to rent, the places we can go to, they offered to do so with a big smile on their faces. If you want a relaxing vacation / staycation in bohol, this is the place for you. Thank you to Peacock Garden, see you again in a few months. :)

The Peacock Garden is an outstanding hotel on Bohol, with an amazing staff and an incredible restaurant. The rooms are very nicely appointed and comfortable, with character and an amazing bed. The pool area is outstanding, with an incredible infinity pool overlooking the shore. It's a wonderful place to just sit and relax, cool off with a swim, read, and just unwind. There is service at the pool (you can even eat poolside) so if you don't want to get up, you can spend all day there. The restaurant is an incredible gem offering fantastic German classics that you would not expect to find on Bohol. A great place to explore the island, or just chill out.

We were collected from Tagbilaran by the spotlessly clean hotel courtesy car, about a 30 minute drive. The driver was to a high standard, compared to many local taxis, along decent concrete roads. The entrance gates to the hotel are impressive and manned by security staff. There is sweeping drive to the front of the hotel where we were greeted and taken to reception. Our room was upgraded free of charge. It contained a very comfortable king size bed and a good bathroom with a shower over the bath. The room was efficiently air conditioned, slightly noisy. There is a flat screen multi channel tv in the room with cable programs. The ground floor room had double doors overlooking the infinity pool and ocean. There's a shallow pool and whirlpool jacuzzi in addition to the main pool. A small terrace with 2 chairs and table immediately outside the patio door and further towards the pool reclining loungers, tables and chairs with a sun umbrella. A member of staff is permanently on hand to supply large bath towels and pool flotations if required. Dining room staff bring jugs of cold water and glasses to the loungers together with tidbits. Breakfast in the dining room is included and consists of a comprehensive buffet plus cooked items chosen from the menu. Dinner is available either in the dining room or on the covered terrace. There is a reasonable menu choice. Staff will purchase most items required on their daily trips to town and a courtesy car is available if required. Staff are well trained and exceptional in their service. We booked our return ferry via the hotel . There are spa and sauna facilities. The hotel is secluded, very peaceful and quiet. Well maintained and very clean. Would I return? A RESOUNDING YES - HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

Hotel arranged pick-up and all went well. Arrived and greeted with a drink. The rooms are well done and bathrooms have great fixtures for the shower and amenities. This is a small property that is amazingly well done. The service level is perfect and the grounds are beautifully kept. While there is a disco onsite, this is a quite, romantic, hilltop escape. The pool is amazing as are the views. The restaurant is nothing short of exceptional. Would stay again for sure.

Hotel is very secluded. Beautiful property and rooms. Service is outstanding. Overlooks the ocean but no beach and water not accessible. If you get tired of the quiet and seclusion the hotel will arrange to take you to Panglao Island where there is unlimited things to do.

Bohol has always been a place I wanted to visit for a while now but I have always put it aside. I do not know what to expect from this much talked about island so I came without much expectations. An opportunity came when friends from the US came to visit and we decided to meet in Bohol. We've heard of the owner a decent German restaurant in Manila in the 80's who had ventured on a resort in Bohol and thought it would definitely be worth a visit. Peacock Garden is nestled on hill in Baclayon, just a short drive from the Baclayon Church. The road from the main highway leading to its strategic location is steep and narrow with houses along its path. As the gates open, we were surprised at once at its charm. We gazed at the beautiful decor along its foyer and main dining hall, while the welcoming staff led us to the small reception room. It was an unexpected revelation of a well thought of place where every detail was carefully laid out. The doors from the reception opened to a view of the sea and the sprawling area where the infinity pool and the villas were. We arrived close to noon and we had lunch at the restaurant where they had a sufficient list of international dishes, featuring typical German dishes. We were impressed by the quality of food and service that we decided to dine there over the entirety of our stay. They had homemade ice cream that were amazing, my favorite was the mango-chili-coriander flavor that was so refreshing yet quite intriguing to the palate, I could eat it everyday! Breakfast was a buffet of fruits, yogurt, cold cuts, cereals, cheeses and an array of assorted bread & pastries. The hot dishes were bespoke, from a selection of eggs, pancakes & breakfast meats; and Filipino favorites such as arroz caldo, tapa, tocino & longaniza. Our 4-day stay wasn't enough to savor all the food they offer. One may say that the absence of the accessibility to the beach would be a pitfall of this resort, but I didn't miss it at all. The pool was large enough and the view from the pool was eye-catching, especially the sunset. Besides, they have a spa that offered all the pampering you need in a vacation, so you can get back to the city life, refreshed. The staff arranged for us a day exploring the Island; we visited the Tarsiers, wandered around the butterfly sanctuary and viewed the Chocolate hills. We did the Loboc River cruise, but I would have skipped it had I known it was too commercialised, it also didn't offer much of an interesting view. A wonderful stay at the Peacock Garden was an experience I would repeat anytime without any hesitation, It was a great escape from the hustle & bustle of the city life. See you again soon!
