the place is fine and the rooms are spacious except for the amenities…bath and toilet looks clean but doesn’t smell it! No bathroom rugs; faulty water heater for coffee; no hot water; the vault (safe) cannot be set up because the buttons on the pad are worn out ..can’t be read. they won’t accept credit card as deposit.. because they don’t have internet… but yet they have WIFI ( figure that out!)
Beautiful place
Great location with a lush landscaping overlooking the harbor. Rooms need quite an upgrade on wall painting and leaky aircon equipment. Face towels or more would be well appreciated.

Stayed 3 nights at the Bohol Tropics Resort. The hotel has consistently been improving the facilities over the past 2 years and doing a great job! The only problem were the ants....they are all over. Housekeeping responded with bug spray to neutralize the ants.....but, they returned! The Bohol Tropics needs to invest in regular fumigation and pest control. It is the Philippines, but control the ants, palihug! The breakfast buffet was average. Yes, I would return to the Tropics again, just bring a can of bug spray! Lol.....
Great staff and views of the bay. The free courtesy van to and from the terminal was a pleasant surprise. Staff arranged for a driver and van to tour the island. Driver was great. Room and grounds were beautiful and pools were very nice. Diving shop was excellent. However the room air conditioning was weak, toilet seat didn't fit the fixture and the mini-frig didn't work. The restaurant food, other than breakfast, was disappointing to poor. Thankfully Jollibee delivers. Overall the visit was good and I'd go again.
