A Perfect Mountain Getaway!I can’t say enough good things about our stay at this beautiful mountain cabin! From the moment we arrived, we felt completely relaxed and at home. The cabin was spotless, cozy, and beautifully decorated with rustic touches that made it feel both charming and luxurious.The views were absolutely breathtaking — waking up to the sight of mist rolling over the mountains was unforgettable. The porch was our favorite spot for morning coffee and evening stargazing.The location was peaceful and secluded, yet still just a short drive from local attractions, trails, and shops. The hosts were incredibly welcoming and responsive, with thoughtful touches like local maps, information about local attractions and clear check-in instructions.If you’re looking for a peaceful retreat in nature with all the comforts of home, this cabin is it. We’re already planning our next visit.

We had an absolutely fantastic stay at The Silver Fox! From start to finish, the experience exceeded our expectations. The hosts were incredibly accommodating, always going above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed, and they were super responsive to any questions we had.The location was perfect, with three easy access points to the HMT leading into Pocohontas, making outdoor adventures so convenient! The cabin itself was spotlessly clean, and the cozy, homely atmosphere made us feel right at home. It truly was the perfect blend of comfort, convenience, and charm. We can’t wait to come back! Highly recommend!

Great location for trails

This cabin was clean, easy to find, and local to the trails. Linens, towels, paper towels, toilet paper, dishes, and coffee were included. It was perfect for us (2 adults) because we were visiting with friends and really just needed a place to shower and sleep. There was a grill outside, plus additional seating which would have been well used if we had spent more time there. One critique would be that the bed was very firm and not as comfortable as I would have liked.
