We were assigned a room in section F. Upon entering the room the first thing we saw was the bathroom door which was busted, then spiders in the bathroom, white sheers (under curtains) with large discolored water stains, walls that were dirty and cobwebs in the corners. We did not even stay the night. Would never book a room here again!!! The attendant at the service desk seemed more interested in his phone call than helping us. When I returned the pass key, I informed I should not be charged as I was there less than 2 hours and would dispute any charges. I was not charged thankfully

Stopped for one night on a road trip. Clean room and good free breakfast including eggs, sausage, waffle maker, biscuits and gravy, toast, pastries and more. Walls are a bit thin and can hear a bit more than I would of liked to but overall perfect for a quick stop. Staff was friendly and accommodating.

Second time leaving this review, since the first one disappeared...we checked in on 3/24/17 around 1am, this was our wedding night. Walking in to the hotel, we were greeted by a very loud crowd of people at the front door that seemed to be doing as they pleased with no concerns for people sleeping. The front desk clerk was working the door to the on site lounge, and should never have been left to do so alone. After two of the bar patrons nearly came to blows over what appeared to be nothing, about which nothing was done, no one was asked to leave nor was any warning issued to the two parties. She was finally able to check us in, which was quick and easy. Then we had to pass by another group of people crowding the hall way by the restrooms, smoking in what I assume was a no smoking area...we finally got to our rooms and they were clean, which is really all I look for in a hotel. It was late and we just wanted somewhere clean to spend the night. The hotel itself is old, but as stated, cleanliness seemed to be the priority here. The bathrooms are small, the door touches the toilet when open, but hot water pressure was great, bathroom was spotless. The bed was firmer than I like, but that's just personal preference, my husband likes a firmer bed so it was perfect for him. The pillows were abnormally small, took a while to flatten them into something that was vaguely the size of a normal pillow. The next morning, we were woken up by housekeeping shouting to each other in the hallway, ordinarily this probably wouldn't have bothered me but coupled with the chaos from the previous night, it didn't do the hotel any favors. We did not try breakfast, but I will say the dining area looked as spotless as the rest of the hotel. All in, I probably would not recommend this place to anyone traveling with a family, with the bar guests allowed to run unchecked, it is not what I consider family friendly. I'm not sure I would stay again, either, not being a bar goer, I prefer to avoid the bar atmosphere in general. It just didn't seem like any concern for guests was given outside of the ones patronizing the bar.

I appreciated the extra care that was given at this hotel during our stay. The service given by Angie at the front desk made our stay so much more comfortable and easier on all of my family members. Would definitely recommend this hotel to travelers.

Not a bad hotel and I would recommend it. The room was clean and the bed slept decent. They have a bar but we did not have time to try it. The view is nice and it is located close to the restaurants in the area.

I have been staying at this property for many years. It is now a Quality Inns and Suites. In as much as the area around Bluefield has struggled, this Hotel remains strong and very well run. They have a great sports bar with a limited food menu, but we always enjoy the food, drink and the wonderful staff! The hotel is pet friendly with some great trails to walk you dog. The view from the hotel is amazing as it sits high up on a hill right off of four 52 and 460. We have stayed here for over 30 years. We really enjoy it!

We were in the area and it was getting late. We needed a place to stay and this property seemed to fit the bill. It is an old property with smoking rooms. Kind of stale smelling when you walk in. There is no elevator. We got a no smoking room which didn't have a stale odor. Room and linens were clean. There was a sheet and thin bedspread on the bed. Had to crank up the heat to try to stay warm. Had to swap outlets to charge the assorted devices we carry. Continental breakfast was what you would expect for the price of the stay. If I was to visit the area again I would plan ahead for alternate lodging.

This is a tired property. I paid $52 per night before taxes and at that price it's okay. There is no elevator, so you carry your bags upstairs. The breakfast is free and has hot and cold items, but not a lot of selection. It does have free coffee all day. The room had a nice recliner chair and I could move the lamps for reading, but it needs more outlets for charging electrical devices. Carpets in the hall look dirty, but the room was acceptable. Housekeeping staff was very helpful as was the front desk. I informed them the ice maker on the second floor was broken and it was fixed the same day. Smokers congregate outside the main entrance and there is a cigarette smell as you enter the dining area from the rear. Google Maps doesn't know where it is. The app sends you to a rental storage location. The Hotel is as the intersection of the highway and Cumberland, turn up the hill, away from the shopping center.

This is a good hotel. Friendly staff. Updated rooms. Decent breakfast. Wifi is good. Allot parking. They host allot of events at the restaurant they have inside. They have a pool never got in it though. It is not bad price for the quality of the hotel.

If i was a health inspector I would shut the place down. It was just plain dirty and trashy. Garbage cans out side were over flowing with garbage so bad it was on the ground. Our top bed sheet had stains. And the carpet had so many stains I did not take off my shoes. Walking down the hall and stair ways there was dirt all over walls dirty . Like I said i would shut this place down as a health hazard. this is not what you expect from quality inn hotels. I have stayed in many but nothing like this one.
