Easy access and good location.
Room clean and comfortable Room on second floor stairs steep and slippery
I was very disappointed that I booked a non smoking room and was checked into a smoking room. There were no other rooms available so we had to put up with the awful smell. The front desk did give me a bottle of Febreeze but that did not help.
Place is a little outdated but cozy. They have updated a few things since my last visit. Overall not bad
Good place for the cost . Some rooms better than others . Some room need a heater up grade. But I would stay there again.
In some rooms the heat blew straight up and blew the curtains open letting in light and allowing people to be able to see in.
The outside needed painting, not enough towels or wash clothes, not enough coffee or sugar and creamer in the room, the room design was back from the 70's, the room smelled and real tiny bathroom but the staff had great customer service skills and the pool was real clean. Definatly not worth the cost.
The bed was too firm. Their pillows were very flat and small. The AC/Heater put out very little fan power.
This hotel may not be fancy or new, but it is clean and conveniently located. The staff is friendly and wants to meet your needs. We were able to leave our pet safely in the room while we attended a funeral. The beds were very comfortable, and the quietness of the back nestled into a mountainside led to a very good night's sleep. A variety of restaurants surround the locale. We would stay here again.
The room was dirty! Smelt like smoke & had mold in my fridge. I hated it
Average,no break fAt....dirty rooms.staff unprofessional....dirty towels...
Well the heater did not work. Toilet got clogged up. Smells like musk inside. Overall it needs renovation all around. Location is great n easy to find n get around town. It is great hotel if u just stopping by for sleep.
A little bit too expensive, and too bad the pool wasn't open, but nice, comfortable room, pleasant continental breakfast, nice staff. The Amicalola park and waterfall is astonishing! Driving from Dalton to Ellijay on Highway 52 was a beautiful mountain road!
First impression of the building from the outside was OK. Fisrt thing that hit you when you opened the room door was a very musty smell. It seemed that that room had not been used in a long time. - We had a king no smoking - The mini fridge was unpluged and wide open. I had to crawl under the desk to plug in the fridge So needless to say our food items had to stay in our cooler while the fridge got going. We had to leave the room door open for a while to "air" out the musty smell. The hot water takes forever to get hot. We set the a/c low because we like it cool. Even though the a/c was running the themostat must not be working very well because room never seemed to get cool. Bed was rather firm- ok for me but my husband didn't like it. The bathroom is tiny. Went for breakfast and the whole area smelled of bug spray. we ate elsewhere. Not the worst place I've ever stayed and in a pinch might stay here again but in the future I will make my reservations sooner before the othere motels fill up.
