We enjoyed our stay at Mountain Dream Hideaway. Our host, Lisa, was very helpful and responsive. This rental is in an ideal location for hiking the Aska Trail System and visiting downtown Blue Ridge shops and restaurants. (We really enjoyed Mountain Mama’s Cafe and Ferraro’s Kitchen Blue).You are also well situated for day trips to Mercier Orchards, Cherry Log and Ellijay, where there is a beautiful state park, Amicalola Falls. This rental has a fantastic view from all levels- it is pure eye candy. Mountain Dream Hideaway is decorated beautifully for Christmas along with exquisite mountain decor. Ample games are also provided (including some of our favorites) and linens and bath towels also provided. All necessary kitchen cooking accessories are supplied.The master bedroom mattress is in need of replacement and the master bed pillows were very uncomfortable, so consider bringing your own. If you are renting during the winter (below freezing temps), bring a space heater or two for the lower level- you will need it. Parking for one large vehicle only- comfortably. Parking is tight.

Perfect Family Getaway!

What a breathtaking property! These pictures are beautiful, but wait until you get there in person! We drove up from FL to explore Blue Ridge for Spring Break. Before going, I saved 29 listings reading and re-reading what property would be best. Between the views, close proximity to DT Blue Ridge, hiking, and all of the amenities- hockey table, PacMan, etc for the kids - it was an amazing choice for our family. The home and all of its touches were so beautiful and cozy, too. And so clean! Even the stamp on the toilet paper rolls were noted, so luxurious! Thank you, Lisa, for some memories of a lifetime with my family!

We stayed over New Year’s Eve for a few days and had the best time. The cabin was immaculate and had everything you could think of there. You literally just need to bring yourselves and your clothes. It’s tucked away for privacy but close enough to town. Lisa is so easy to communicate with. We will come back again. Loved it.

Beautiful Setting...Great Location...Amazing Property...WILL ENJOY!!

We had such a wonderful week at this property! We booked a getaway during October ~ the beauty of the mountains, specifically the drive to/from and the view from this home, are really special. And while you enjoy complete privacy and feel as if you are on alone on top of the mountain, we also loved the convenience of being a short 15-minute drive into the town of Blue Ridge which is full of great dining and shopping experiences. This home is beautiful, immaculate, very well-appointed, and organized. Everything we needed was on site and more! And the layout of the home is wonderful if you are traveling with family and/or friends because each bedroom is on a separate level, offering great privacy and options for everyone. Our host was very communicative and made the pre-arrival and check-in process seamless. I would absolutely recommend this home and would love to stay there again!

Peaceful retreat for the weekend

We stayed with three adults and three kids ages 4 and 6. The house has a gorgeous view from the back decks. Pros: Close to town, Mercier Orchards, Lake Blue Ridge and all of the activities in Blue Ridge; the game room was AMAZING - my kids were obsessed; check-in was a breeze; everything in the home was labeled and easily located; lots of kitchen utensils; kcups for coffee; the hot tub looked very nice; it was comfortable for our group size; the view was very lovely! Cons: No strong cons. This was a nice cabin for a weekend away. I would consider staying again. That said, I did not realize the primary room was two floors above the kids' bunk room and that it utilized a window unit to keep it cool. For little ones, make sure you bring a monitor to hear them in the lower level. They had kids cups/plates (yay!) but in general could have used a few more pieces of dinnerware. The cupboards would also need more oil and maybe a few spices to be considered stocked. The internet was a bit slow but I suspect this the case with most places up there and not specific to this home.

The description of the listing was completely accurate. The house was fully stocked with everything we needed. The Mountain Views were gorgeous! And the house is only about 5 miles from downtown Blue Ridge. We would definitely stay again.

Everything you need!

Mountain Dream Hideaway was absolutely perfect. Beautiful cabin with everything you could possibly need - dish soap & laundry detergent, hand soap in all bathrooms, shampoo & shower gel samples in all bathrooms, plenty of towels including those used for the hot tub. Lisa was very attentive & responsive, and had great suggestions on where to dine in town. Plenty of indoor and outdoor games to keep everyone entertained, plus a short drive to enjoy all there is to do in Blue Ridge. One thing that was a little unexpected was the drive off the main road to the cabin. Combination of gravel and paved roads were fine, but they are only wide enough for one car at a time, with little room to get off to the side should you encounter a car coming the opposite direction. However, there are only a handful of cabins on those roads, and we did not see any other cars on the road. Overall, it was the perfect cabin and made for a wonderful, relaxing getaway!

Amazing Stay!

I went up with my family for spring break from FL and had the most amazing time ever! The house was absolutely perfect for the entire family. Games downstairs were played by all and the hot tub enjoyed by my wife and I at night looking out at the stars and mountains. We will go back for sure! Thank you Lisa for opening your home to us!

Fly fishing in the Blue Ridge Mountains

Very peaceful and quiet getaway, 10 minutes from the town of Blue Ridge. We fly fished down the Toccoa river for two days. The home was very well appointed and very clean. Stunning mountain views for an evening cocktail. It’s obvious the owners take great pride in their home. Thanks for sharing!

Beautiful Getaway!

The property was clean and comfortable with gorgeous views. The kitchen was well stocked for making home cooked meals. The property is well maintained and has nice comfortable furnishings and beds. Kitchen was well stocked will better than average cooking utensils and coffee maker. Great internet and were able to watch the Georgia game on tv. We could tell the owner pays attention to every detail. Convenient to Blue Ridge and lots of hiking and other outdoor activities.

Great stay in Blue Ridge

A great house to rent in the Blue Ridge/Aska Adventure area. We found the property clean on arrival, the views from all 3 floors were awesome. There was a lot of entertainment built into the house with an air hockey table, old school arcade game and the hot tub in addition to numerous indoor and outdoor games all on the property. Communication with the host was great, will definitely stay here again!!

Blue Ridge

My family and I recently stayed in this amazing cabin/home which was exactly as described online. Not only are the views spectacular, but the house is simply beautiful, comfortable and clean. The host,Lisa, is wonderful and responds to any questions immediately. The cabin is located close to downtown Blue Ridge and is a short easy drive to zipline and white water rafting activities. We are looking forward to returning to Blue Ridge in the near future and will definitely be booking this cabin again! It's was the best!
