This accommodation may suit only the very fit. Access requires a long, steep incline followed by many steep steps. Even my teenage children struggled with the climb. It is certainly not suitable for anyone with mobility concerns or health issues, and this level of access was not made clear in the advert. This type of access seems to be a feature of some properties in Como, which may be obvious to locals, but will not be to many visitors. The property itself has amazing views and is clean, well-kept, and serviceable, although somewhat compact with a tight and steep internal staircase. Those nervous around dogs may wish to avoid, as the neighbours’ dogs (safely contained) barked constantly and were aggressive as we approached the door. We did not stay at the property in the end due to the access issues.
