This place was convenient to where we were picking up trucks.

The room was clean, the desk staff were friendly, and the a/c worked well. There’s little more I need for a budget motel in this price range.

Smelled of smoke everywhere. Ok bathroom was clean

Carpet throughout the property is dirty, stained, frayed and overall disgusting. Lobby sofa looked worn and dirty- wouldn't consider sitting on it. Hallways and room smelled like cigarette smoke- even our non-smoking room. Overall very disappointed but better than a year ago - at least they got new towels!

Dirty carpet. Moldy shower curtain. Sheets had black marks. Ice machine broken.

When I check in, they sent me to a room that, when I opened the door, learned it was occupied by someone else. The desk clerk was confused on what to do and finally called the manager. He struggled for awhile and finally took me to a room. It reeked of smoke. The manager said, "It is a non-smoking room, but someone smoked in it." I said I needed a non-smoking room, and he said, "It is, but someone smoked in it." He said it was the only "non-smoking" room they had. The mattress was shabby and the sheets, though possibly clean, had permanent stains in them. The whole place felt disturbingly unclean. Occasionally, through the stench of smoke, a faint odor of diesel fuel and fresh dirt wafted through the room. I sat in the desk chair for awhile and finally drove to Blacksburg and booked at the Hilton Garden Inn. I sacrificed the two nights of pre-paid room at this motel, but it was worth it. The Hilton Garden Inn felt like Shangri-La.

The room smelled terrible. The sir that the AC/Heat unit smelled of mildew. The carpets in the room and the halls were dirty. The pillows were old and smelled as well.

The rug was sticky and very dirty, we could walk around bare footed without our feet turning black. The breakfast choices was too limited, our grand daughter requires something gluten free and nothing was acceptable.

The location was great, immediately off route 81. The bathroom was clean and recently remodeled. However, that is about the extent of the good things we encountered. The place was pretty shabby. Felt dirty. Carpet really dirty and stained. Bedding didn't have that fresh and clean look. Breakfast just adequate. We wouldn't stay there again.

the hotel is an good example of you get what you pay for, holes in bed spread, cheap and stained looking towels and wash cloths, televison that only got a few stations due to maintenence issues going on, overall this seems to be the norm with Super8 , not much on quality.

The visit did not start off well. When I entered there was no one at the desk or in the check-in area. I rung the bell on the desk - no one. Rang it again - no one. I waited 10 minutes before someone showed up to check me in. I said jokingly, "It's a good thing I wasn't a robber." The woman replied (not jokingly), "You wouldn't get anything." She seemed to be oblivious to the fact that a lot of destruction could have taken place with the reception area being empty! The room was very spacious and very clean. Towels were a little worn but serviceable.

My boyfriend and I are from Richmond, VA and we went to the Virginia Tech football game 3 1/2 hours away. We didn't want to pay an outrageous amount to stay overnight so we figured if we stayed about 30 mins away that'd be easier to get up at 9 and drive 30 minutes to tailgate versus having to leave at 6. The hotel was one of the cleanest I've stayed at in a while, had great customer service, and it was a great price!

Room was spacious and not cramped, even with our two bicycles. Clean with comfortable beds and a refrigerator. Was fairly close to the New River Bike Trail and the location was great for shopping at Walmart and Interstate access. No microwave in room but guests do have access to a microwave in the breakfast area (so no problem).

Hotel was extremely convenient for an in an out stay for a wedding at Rockwood. A little mix up when I checked in (room had not been cleaned) but I was quickly given another room by a very friendly staff. Rooms are large, somewhat dated and worn but clean and I had no issues. I only grabbed coffee on my way out the next day but it was standard continental breakfast fare (coffee, juice, cereals, toast, waffle maker). Very Convenient to I-81, plenty of places close by for meals. Quiet location. I'd stay here again with no hesitation. Single female traveler and I felt perfectly safe.

It was perfect for the traveler. Clean, spacious and comfortable. For the money, I think that it is a very good deal. Has all the amenities: wifi, coffee in room, continental breakfast. It's most outstanding feature is its spaciousness. Has two double beds, lounge chair, desk and large bathroom. And the price was right. What is not to like!

I actually got this room for my mom and step-dad while they were on business in the area and received a phone call from my mom saying how clean the hotel room was. If my mom was happy with the hotels cleanliness; I am impressed.

Clean, close to the interstate, Walmart and fast food. The continental breakfast was pretty bad. Froot loops, white loaf bread from Walmart and boxed cinnamon buns thrown in a basket. Expected a little more than that.

Nothing fancy here, but that's not what I was looking for. Convenient to 81 & Rt 11 (if you're visiting Blacksburg). The hotel was quiet, clean, no problems at all.

room was clean, including bathroom. rooms were quiet. interstate was close. walmart across the street. continental breakfast was a bit weak but coffee was good. overall great stay.

This super 8 was great...very clean, quiet and staff very friendly and helpful. If you don't want to spend a fortune, but want a clean place, this is it.
