Excellent staff whitney , nicu ,martin ,rhys excellent food very clean rooms near train station will stay again good experience after penta hotel did not have our confirmed room they had overbooked by 13 rooms
A safe haven if you enjoy a good hot breakfast with fresh food in well-designed tables and seating. It's a world away from the nearby Crowne Plaza which trots out old food and tired decor. Upstairs, rooms can be noisy higher up, but give fantastic views of the city, and are well equipped with modern fittings. The rooms are clean and clearly checked before being released for guest use.
Stayed in 1304 for one night, one of their "refurbished" rooms. It was ok, but nothing spectacular. Heating was left on 28 deg for 5 hours and certainly didn't feel like it. Was woken at 7.00am by noisy pipes, told reception on check out and was told "we'll get maintenance to look at it" - no apology or recompense. Very good breakfast, with lots of variety.
I booked into the hotel for one night after a busy day at work. I wanted to go to my room order some food and relax and prepare the for the next day. Firstly there was no water in the room and the tea and coffee was awful. There was a mini bar but no facilities stocked. Then I called room service they didn't answer for over 5 mins. This happened twice until reception answered so basically no room service facility and no housekeeping. I then had to go back down to reception to pay and queue with all the other people checking in. A complete waste of my time and energy.
Stayed one Night. Went to the Birmingham Hippodrome. For a Night at the Opera. Room was very Good. Fantastic Double Bed. I Got Lost in It !. Fine Nights Sleep. Breakfast was Very Good. Self Service. Excellent View from the First Floor Restaurant. Also Liked Late Room Withdraw. Service is Good. Usually with a Smile.
Beds are supper comfy the rooms are beautiful very clean and breakfast is wonderful I highly recommend staying here the theatre is a two second walk away and turtle bay is round the corner for loverly food
We stayed here as a family when attending a Dua Lipa concert at the nearby O2 Academy (walking distance). The rooms are large and well appointed and all have some kind of a view over the Brum skyline. Our room rate did not include breakfast, so we ate at the cafe next door, which we would wholeheartedly recommend. There are several great pubs nearby and the Bullring and Mailbox are a short walk. If you are driving here, I would recommend the nearby Horsefair NCP car park, £5 for 24 hours is an absolute bargain!
I stayed here on business and was very impressed with the spacious room. We ate in the hotel in the evening and it was nice but nothing special. The breakfast and lunches were very good though and all the staff were pleasant and helpful.
The hotel is lovely, really clean. Staff were very friendly and helpful too! Location wise it’s perfect if you’re walking but views were not so atheistically pleasing as it area surrounding seems very run down. Apart from that, hotel is lovely, bit pricey.
Not what you would expect from Raddison. Apparently the breakfast is hot if you get there as soon as it opens. Cold at 0715 is not really good enough. Good location for shopping, five minute walk to the Bullring.
