I'm not sure what there isn't to like about this hotel. Room is spacious, clean and has all the facilities you'll need. The check in was quick, we were in our room in no time. The hotel is walking distance to the Mailbox so perfect for our night out. Make sure you park in the New Street NCP to get cheaper parking (£15 a night). I would definitely stay here again without a doubt, brilliant value for money.

Travelled for business (RWM exhibition, NEC Birmingham). Excellent city centre location, with comfortable, clean and contemporary rooms. The smaller touches impressed me (e.g. the bedside USB chargers), but also enjoyed dining in the restaurant. The food was excellent both at dinner and breakfast. A room change for a Japanese colleague was easily accommodated, so excellent overall service.

Walked in off the street. The restaurant was empty which worried us. We wonder why because we were met by Maciej mowraski. Who was super friendly and very efficient. There wasn't anything Vegan on the menu, but the Chef got creative and made me a delicious meal. Very interesting view from the huge windows. My family really enjoyed the meal.

Stayed at this lovely hotel in business last week. The hotel is in a great location just 5 minute walk from from Birmingham New St Station. The staff are all very friendly and efficient in their roles. The bedrooms were beautiful and very clean. After checking out and getting to the train station I was horrified to notice I didn't have my wedding rings on. I realised I had left them in the bathroom. I called the hotel and was put through to Kelly head of housekeeping who was fantastic. Kelly took my details and offered to go to the room straight away to look for them. Within 5 minutes I had a phone call from Kelly letting me know she had them safe THANK GOD. Kelly kindly put them in a sealed envelope and left them at reception for me. Fantastic customer care all round. I will visit this hotel again when in Birmingham.

Excellent city centre location, clean, modern, spacious room, comfortable bed and very impressive breakfast selection. What stands out the most is the friendliness of all staff with special mention to Ricky on Reception. Ricky gave a warm welcome upon arriving and couldn't be more helpful with local information, hotel details and offering little extras, pleasure to meet someone with such high customer service skills which being in the industry we are fanatical about. One night stay in Birmingham for a concert, would stay again. Stayed 20th Sept on 12th floor.

A good welcoming at arrival. Sweet staff. Really good rooms. Liked the stool in front of the beds, hah! The breakfast was beatiful and great. Missed some stuff, though. But really enjoyed it! Will probably be back! :)

A central business hotel next door to the Birmingham conference and event centre. Booked through their own website. Very easy to get to from New Street station. Room was bright spacious and very comfortable. Bathroom getting a little tired but not so much it spoiled anything. Dinner was at the nearby Arcadian centre and breakfast in the hotel was very comprehensive. Good stuff.

The website says "unwind in our gym", but on arrival there's a notice saying the gym is being refurbished and closed. So it's basically a con. The staff were quite defensive when I said so. The breakfast is very good though.

Chose the hotel as we had come to Birmingham to watch Miss Saigon. Location from the Hippodrome is excellent. No complaints about the room, spacious and clean. Lovely bathroom. Ice machine on the flor which we were on so excellent for the prosecco we brought for the room. Great View. Used room service for food and burgers were excellent. Receptionist was very helpful with knowledge on bars to visit. We did have the fire alarm wake us up at 8.30 in the morning.. complained to manager as there was no fire... a guest had set it off! As compensation he refunded us £50 and gave us free parking. Would definitely use again.

We paid £60 for a Friday night which given the central location I thought great value. The hotel is very clean and the staff helpful however the hotel is extremely noisy. Not city centre noise but air con or ventilation units rattling and humming all night. Really difficult to sleep. The pillows are shockingly soft and when you rest your head they flatten to nothing. I slept for about an hour all night which is a shame as it had the makings of a really great hotel until the night!
