We had been traveling for many hours, were exhausted, and stopped at the first hotel that we came to just to stay one night. The room was dirty - I first noticed a huge cobweb running from the headboard up to the ceiling. When I moved the pillows to turn back the covers the cases stuck to the headboard. There was something white on the headboard (don't want to imagine what it was). When we lay down my pillow smelled like soured laundry. The next morning when we flipped on the lights roaches ran up the wall. There was a hole in the tub enclosure and there were brown streaks (don't want to imagine what it was) on the inside door to the bathroom. We turned on the tv and shortly afterward the screen went black and the tv was very hot to the touch. We tried it again the next morning and it still didn't work. Oh and both ice machines were out of order.
Nice location with neat and clean rooms.. Sissy at the front desk was very pleasant and helpful on how to use the tv , she was also helpful with local restaurants. What I don't understand is why there's no shower curtain in the bathroom..
I had a one night stay while traveling from Tx. to Fla. Check in was good, quick and easy. Room was good but the whole property was being renovated. Wifi didn't work, parking lot was pretty rough and could use a resurfacing. I didn't try the breakfast because I was leaving earlier than 6 am so I walked across the street to Waffle House. Overall my stay was pleasant.
Stayed there twice, two days apart. First night was fine, second night the room had issues. I arrived late & was tired so I didn't notice the issues. Fan in the bathroom was loud and could not be shut off. No shower curtain. No coffee cups. The need to check things out better.
My Fiance and I stayed here as a refuge from Hurricane Irma. While the room is a little out-dated, You don't really mind it because it is not meant to be an ultra modern hotel. It is a great side of the road motel to catch some sleep. The breakfast was good for a continental breakfast. The rooms were clean and well maintained. My only gripe is that every time you turn the TV on, you have to reset the TV to HDMI-1 to watch cable. It was a bit of an annoyance, but nothing major. We will definitely stay here when in the area again.
Everyone from front desk to housekeeping was so kind and helpful. I felt so comfortable. They accepted my children and pets without hesitation. We had all the accommodations we needed during a very stressful evacuation. They were compassionate and understanding. I decided to extend our stay waiting for power to be restored. This is a very nice hotel.
I stayed at this hotel March 6, 2016. The staff was pleasant, and I was happy with my room. I was pleased that at this property, and all other ABVIs in which I have stayed so far, the non-smoking room WAS completely smoke-free (unlike those in some other motel chains in which I have stayed). I would stay at this ABVI again if in this area.
There was hair every where. All over the floor and toilet shower. There was a band aid in the bed. We also had to change our own light in the bathroom. Plus I had to clean my own room. Don't stay here ever!!!!
We traveled a long way an paid a lot of money to stay at this hotel an I WILL NEVER AGAIN STAY HERE.. NEVER. The rooms were very disgusting. An the lady at the front desk was really rude. Also they made us pay for a rag that out 1 year old daughter had put in the trash without us knowing. When we explained that to her she acted even more rude and didn't seem to care. My honest opinion people like that should not be allowed to work at place dealing with people. If you can not be nice then find another job.
Management is TERRIBLE, the rooms are absolutely horrid, and I PROMISE YOU THEY OVERCHARGE ON THE PRICE OF THE ROOMS. The price should match the quality of the hotel, but here, that is far from the case. The rooms are not clean, they don't have flat screen televisions- it's a box television, the rooms do not come with a coffee maker, & the wifi barely works. The entire business is very unprofessional, in my opinion, they don't believe in and/or value the true meaning of Customer Service. I mean they don't even have a 'hot' continental breakfast- just cereal, milk in a jug, and a few muffins, along with a waffle make that produce awful waffles. I would never in a million years return here. As a customer, and formal employee, I wouldn't advise anyone to stay here.
