Wir waren für 7 Tage im Haus und hatten dies gewählt wegen der Lage zwischen Glasgow und Edinburgh. Hierfür war das Haus gut gelegen. Es gab in der Nähe einen Bahnhof, von dem man in ca. 40 min. beide Städte jeweils erreichen konnte. Die Kommunikation mit den Vermietern erfolgte via Mail und war unproblematisch. Das Haus ist runtergekommen, verwohnt und die Einrichtung wirklich nicht mehr ansehnlich. Die Tapeten lösen sich von den Wänden und die Möbel sind abgegriffen und kaputt. Das Haus liegt abgelegen und sehr ruhig, was für uns sehr schön war. In der Nähe sind Supermärkte und Restaurants vorhanden. Für den Preis kann man aber mehr Sauberkeit und Komfort erwarten.

Het huisje is oud en authentiek ingericht. Super netjes schoon en fijn ingedeeld. Aan alle dingen was gedacht. Matten voor de vieze schoenen, schone wasmachine en een zachte vloer. Heerlijke douche! We zijn gedurende ons verblijf bijna de estate niet af geweest. Op de 22 hectare grond die erbij hoort kan je heerlijk wandelende en zie je om iedere hoek een stuk gescheideners of vervallen ruïne
