Private Hot Tub | Ski All Day, Soak All Night | Big Sky Townhome

Welcome to Hidden Village Hideaway!

Your Big Sky trip starts the moment you pull into the garage at Hidden Village Hideaway. Tucked into the pines of the Hidden Village neighborhood in Meadow Village in Big Sky, this townhome keeps you minutes from Big Sky Town Center for dinner and a drink, with the lifts at Big Sky Resort a short drive up the road. Grab your coffee, step out onto the balcony, take in the mountain views through the trees and start planning the day.

Spend the day chasing powder or hitting the trails, then come home to more than 2,000 square feet to spread out. The Primary bedroom has the upper level to itself, with a king bed and its own bathroom. Downstairs, a second king bedroom and a room with two twin beds give everyone their own place to crash, and a queen sleeper sofa in the lower level living area adds extra sleeping space when you need it. Up on the main floor, the kitchen, the dining table for six and the living room all open up to each other under warm wood ceilings, so whoever is cooking never misses the conversation.

When the day winds down, head downstairs to your own private indoor hot tub in its cedar-lined room and let the warm water do its thing. Throw a log on the stone wood-burning fireplace, fire up the gas grill, or take the short walk to the Hidden Village community center for the shared hot tub and sauna, plus the pool in summer. Whether it is your ski crew, a couple of families or old friends on a long overdue reunion, this is the kind of place you start dreaming about again before you have even checked out.

Winter
Big Sky Resort is the biggest skiing in America, and it earns that title every single year. With 5,800 skiable acres, 4,350 feet of vertical drop, and an average of 400+ inches of snowfall annually, it delivers for every level of skier and rider. When you are ready to step off the slopes, the historic Lone Mountain Ranch has 85+ kilometers of groomed Nordic trails through the wilderness, voted the #1 cross-country ski resort in North America. Beyond that, Yellowstone National Park, snowmobiling, snowshoeing, dog sledding, ice fishing, and world-class spa experiences are all within easy reach.

Summer
The mountains do not slow down when the snow melts. Within minutes you have world-class fly fishing, river rafting, golf, hiking, mountain biking, horseback riding, and zip-lining at your doorstep. Follow the scenic Gallatin River along historic Highway 191 and you are at the west entrance of Yellowstone National Park in just 45 minutes. Stay long enough and you will find free concerts, farmers markets, and weekly events scattered throughout the season.

Great place - close to slopes

We didn't actually stay in this unit and switched to another unit months before our stay. But it still shows this unit in VRBO. Its the same management company. Unit was in Alpenglow and it was great. Nice garage, great fireplace, super clean, great hot tub, etc. Communication with management company was excellent for a couple minor questions. We will being looking for Alpenglow the next time we are in Big Sky.

Great Location for a Ski Trip

Great spot, cozy fireplace, plenty of amenities. The kitchen equipment needs some attention. The knives are poor quality for a group that plans on cooking at the home. A large pot and strainer would be nice to have as well. All in all, a decent vacation rental.

Stay Away from Stay Montana

I have rented many vacation properties and know that minor problems come with the territory, but Stay Montana was something completely different. By far my worst experience ever with either VRBO or AirB&B. Their customer service team seemed to think that I should simply take it in stride that, when we arrived, the unit had no hot water, the private hot tub didn’t work, and there was no key for the shared hot tub. Not sure why I expected there to be a working hot tub. Maybe it was the title for the listing: Hidden Village Hideaway - Private Hot Tub - Minutes from Big Sky Resort Or, maybe it was the hot tub cleaning fee that was included in my billing, the one I complained about because it seemed excessive given there was already a substantial cleaning fee for the unit. I was told the fee was justified just a day before my arrival. Even the customer service rep didn’t know there was no working hot tub until her operations manager checked into it. Everyone from me to billing to customer service had missed the fine print stating that the hot tub was broken. It took an hour for the customer service rep to learn what I was supposed to know from the outset. The hot tub was broken. I was told to use the community hot tub. Unfortunately, they failed to provide a key for the community hot tub. I was also silly enough to assume a condo would have hot water. No worries, I was told, they would fix the hot water and bring the key the next day. When I raised these issues, I expected profuse apologies and some effort to comp me for my troubles. Maybe a reduction in rent for the non-functioning hot tub and a free night for a unit with no hot water. What did I get? A generous offer to remove the charge for cleaning the broken hot tub from my credit card. I guess I was lucky, a friend arrived at another Stay Montana Unit the same night and found it was owner occupied! At 10:30 at night, after driving all day, they had to find a new place to stay while enduring subzero temperatures. And then had to move the following night. Stay Montana’s utter lack of concern provides a case study in how NOT to provide customer service. In fact, I am saving the texts to share with my customer service team. Bottom line: STAY AWAY FROM STAY MONTANA.
