Silvertip Cabin 4 Silver Peaks | Direct Ski Access, Mountain Retreat, Sleeps 9

Perched on Moonlight Mountain, Silvertip Cabin 4 offers effortless ski-in/ski-out access to 5,850 acres of uncrowded slopes and 300 ski runs for every level of skier and snowboarder. A groomed trail directly behind the home connects to Natawista, taking you straight to the Madison Base Area on the Moonlight Basin side of Big Sky Resort. The cabin also has direct access to the Madison Base Area Ski School, making early-morning lessons a breeze. When you're ready to explore more of the mountain, continue to Cinnabar and the Derringer lift, or head to Six Shooter for access to both the Moonlight and Big Sky sides. Please note that the Moonlight lifts are scheduled to open in early to mid-December, and there is no ski access prior to lift opening.

Silvertip Cabin 4 comfortably sleeps 9 and provides a welcoming home base after a day on the mountain. The cabin's accommodations include its bedrooms and bathrooms, along with a kitchen and comfortable living spaces designed for relaxing and spending time together. With the slopes right outside your door, it's easy to settle in and enjoy everything this mountain retreat has to offer.

Spend your days skiing and snowboarding across Big Sky Resort, with terrain suited to every level, or take advantage of the Madison Base Area and its ski school. For ski-in access, return from the top of Ironhorse or Six Shooter via Lazy Jack to Cinnabar or Powder River, then follow Natawista back to the Silvertip Cabins. From the cabin, ski out directly to the Madison base area or continue on to the lifts and more of the mountain.

The Moonlight Club has made the decision to prohibit access to guests of all vacation rental homes. The lounge and other amenities are solely for the use of the member, and guest memberships are no longer offered.

Ski Access:

Silvertip Cabins have direct access to the Madison Base Area Ski School making early morning lessons a breeze. The lifts at Moonlight schedule to open early to mid-December with no ski access prior to lift opening.

Ski Out:
Ski directly to the Madison base on the Moonlight Basin side of Big Sky Resort via a groomed trail directly behind your home that links up with the Natawista ski run. Follow Natawista through the tunnel under Peaks View Drive to the Madison base area. Stop at the base area for lessons or continue on Cinnabar to the Derringer lift (beginner area). More advanced skiers/snowboarders can hop on the Six Shooter lift and ride either the Moonlight or Big Sky side of the mountain.

Ski In:
From the top of Ironhorse or Six Shooter lifts, ski down Lazy Jack to the intersection of Cinnabar and Powder River. From here either stay left on Cinnabar or or stay straight on Powder River continuing through the ski tunnel and past the first skier bridge. Take a hard right on Natawista run. Follow Natawista back over the next two skier bridges to the Silvertip Cabins that will be on the right.
