In Winter Powder Pad is just a 5-minute stroll to the shuttle, and then a breezy 5-minute ride to Big Sky Resort. No hunting for parking (because let’s be honest, it’s already gone by 9 AM). Need snacks, coffee, or emergency chocolate? The Hungry Moose grocery is right nearby — your go-to for last-minute essentials. At the resort, you’ll find shops, restaurants, and après-ski spots — just know most stores close when the lifts stop spinning. For late-night eats, drinks, and live music, head to Big Sky Town Center, only a 10–15 minute drive away. Perfect for swapping ski stories over burgers or craft beer before heading back to your snug little mountain nest.
In Summer You’ll be smack dab in the middle of Big Sky adventure. Hot day? Pack your sunscreen and inner tube — Lake Levinski is less than 5 minutes away for floating, swimming, and tanning. No gear? No problem — rentals start at just $30/day for canoes, paddle boards, and more. Craving an adrenaline rush? You’re minutes from Big Sky Resort’s mountain biking trails (bring your GoPro for those brag-worthy shots). More of a “boots on the ground” type? Explore endless hiking trails nearby, plus archery, ziplining, and rock climbing. Basically, if you get bored here… that’s on you.
Yellowstone National Park If you’re staying in Big Sky, you’re only about an hour from Yellowstone National Park — one of the most extraordinary places on Earth. Sure, one day won’t cover it all, but skipping it would be a mistake you’ll regret. Marvel at Old Faithful, wander among bubbling geysers, and watch for bison, elk, and maybe even a bear (from a safe distance, of course). Yellowstone isn’t just a park — it’s an experience you’ll carry with you forever.

The accommodations were as described. The stairs to the unit are a bit steep. Did not have picture of shower of 2nd bath. Both rooms have shower/bath. No walk in shower if that is an issue. No a/c - can be an issue if hot day. Stayed in unit so that son could do the downhill biking. Unit is close to lift. The unit was very clean and the communication with the host was immediate and helpful.

Great place
Perfect spot amd location. Would recommend it to anyone.
It was a pretty nice place. The condo was set up well and was well appointed. The TV menu / channel selection was slow and difficult to operate. The fireplace worked well. Upon check out it was expected that we wash the sheets and empty the trash to the dumpster. The parking pass seemed to be a prominate issue at the property. We did enjoy the bars and pubs and beautiful scenery. I was greeted by a mama red fox one morning in the parking lot and it made my whole day. There was even an elk herd one morning on the way down the mountain.
