DETAILS: Firelight Chalet, 106 Candlelight Meadows, is a mountain-view, 3-bedroom, 3-bathroom townhome that sleeps 8. Guests will enjoy a large stone fireplace, TVs in every room, and a large hot tub!

An inviting entryway with a comfortable bench has ample space for coats, boots, and bags. A laundry room off the entryway makes it easy to clean up after a busy day on the slopes. An open living, dining, and kitchen area has beautiful wide-plank hardwood floors, a vaulted ceiling, a large stone fireplace, and beautiful mountain views. Rich leather sofas and an armchair surround a TV and an impressive stone wood-burning fireplace. Sliding glass doors open from the living area to a patio with a large hot tub and a gas grill. A wood dining table with bench seating and a dine-in kitchen counter are inviting spots to enjoy a quick snack or a home-cooked meal. A guest bedroom off the kitchen has a king bed and a twin-over-twin bunk bed with sliding glass doors that open to the patio.

Upstairs are 2 guest bedrooms with king beds and private bathrooms. Every bedroom in Firelight Chalet includes a Smart TV!

Guests may park in a 1-car garage with additional parking in the driveway.

Beautiful property, but beware

A mixed review I'm afraid. The house is spacious, modern and clean, with a comfortable lounge area and well-supplied kitchen. We appreciated the welcome touches from Natural Retreats -- from starter kitchen supplies and toiletry bags, to the jazz playing on our arrival. The location is great -- 4-min drive to the village center, 15 mins to the ski resort. Communication prior to our arrival was excellent. All of that would have earned the property a 5-star review. Now the not-so-good. The property listing shows a roaring fireplace -- it's listed as the first amenity, and was a key reason I chose the house. But the fireplace said "DO NOT USE". I understand that things break. But I would expect to be notified ahead of time that a key amenity was not available, and to be offered an option to cancel, or to receive an appropriate discount. None of those things happened. When I reached out to the management company, they let me know that the fireplace had failed its safety inspection, but due to the busy winter season, immediate repair was not possible. No compensation was offered. When I asked for a discount, crickets. I reached out again the final day of our stay, and was told the owner had not approved a discount. The rental company did eventually offer a 10% discount on a future stay, but the right thing would have been to apply it to the property I just rented. So, if a particular amenity is important to you, be aware that it may not be compensated if unavailable.

Great stay

Beautiful, clean, comfortable condo. Very well supplied—we had all the amenities we needed, and then some! Beds were awesome. Close enough to stores/shops without being in the middle of it all. Great access to trails. Loved the hot tub and stars at night. Our party of 8 fit perfectly. Would definitely stay again!
