Although this hotel is a bit away from the main central area, I actually enjoyed the 10 min. walking distance. I came to the town for a concert at Muziekgebouw Frits Philips and decided to stay here knowing that it was quite close to the concert hall. Since I came here during the cold winter, I expected a warm room. The heating system in the lobby was good, as it was so warm there, however, despite the temp 24 C, the room I was staying in was quite cold. I think the heat was leaking through the windows, because I later put bottled waters on the window sill to keep it cool. I had to wear sweaters in the room to keep warm. I told the staff about the problem and said they will look into it, and hopefully the problem has been fixed. BTW, I was sure I read the hotel had tea/coffee kettle in the room, but they don't have it anymore. That was a bummer, bec I could have brought my own portable tea kettle to keep me warm with hot tea during the cold winter. Also, there's no refrigerator or microwave.
