Right next to the A1, but you wouldn't know it. Welcoming, lovely staff, good food. Lots of walkers and cyclists, good atmosphere, comfortable room, sensibly priced and conveniently located in this special part of the world. Go to Lindisfarne, go to Scotland, explore Berwick and Northumberland - this is the place to do it from!

The Lindisfarne Inn was a great stay - everything we needed it to be. The staff were friendly, the room well equipped and clean, everything very straightforward. The only possible improvement would be more on the Sunday evening menu after the roasts finish!

Was surprised it was a motel-style setting with windows overlooking the car-park. Quite a bit less picturesque compared to all other places we stayed on St Cuthbert’s Way. Food at dinner was good but a bit pricey compared to other inns and there was no table-service.

Nice easy location for Lindisfarne. Good menu, but seems to be the same one at each of this group of hotels. Decent sized room, with tea and biscuits supplied. Bed and pillows a little too firm for my liking, but some people may prefer them this way.

Great pet friendly pub with specific areas for people with dog's, towels and blankets were provided for the seating and the floor as well as plently of water dog treats and meals you can purchase. Room was super clean if only we had stopped the dog getting on the bed when he was wet!
