I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Waldorf Astoria Berlin for a weekend vacation. From the moment I arrived outside the hotel, I knew I would be well taken care of. The bellman offered to take my luggage directly to my room, which is always nice not to have worry about as you check in. Giacomo at the front desk was professional, courteous and informative during the efficient check-in process. He explained all my Hilton and Amex benefits, which allowed me to plan how I would be able to take advantage of them throughout my stay. I realized that I had been upgraded to a corner room on a high floor. With many windows on two sides of the room, the views were incredible. The room itself was very large and tastefully appointed. The bathroom included a separate tub and rainfall shower, with Salvatore Ferragamo toiletries. The bed was one of the most comfortable hotel beds I have ever slept in, and the turndown service was a nice touch as well. The Library on the 15th floor served a complimentary check-in glass of Moet champagne, which was a perfect way to unwind after arrival. On Saturday, I had a chance to visit the Guerlain Spa on the fifth floor for a massage treatment, which I had arranged prior to arrival. Marc, the massage therapist, was great, and the spa itself was beautiful with a large indoor pool. The spa front desk allowed me to change the time of my appointment on the day of, which was very accommodating. The hotel is conveniently located next to the zoo, with a subway stop literally next to the entrance. After arriving at Tegel Airport (TXL), I was able to take a city bus to the hotel for only 2.80 Euros that dropped me off across the street from the hotel. It was fast, relatively easy and inexpensive. The Bikini shops are right by the hotel as well as many other shops of all kinds. Even at checkout, the exceptional service did not end. Because I was taking a very early flight from Tegel and would miss the breakfast, Giacomo had arranged for the restaurant to prepare a boxed breakfast that I could take with me upon departure. This was an incredibly thoughtful touch and made my return home more pleasant.

Well situated hotel, close to the Christmas market. The conference rooms were very good and so was my bedroom. A comfortable double bed, nice morning coat and a great shower. The breakfast had the local German specialities such as sausages and also perfect scrambled eggs. I would stay with my family in this hotel if extra beds were available. This is a five star hotel and lives up to it. In the lobby there was a pianist every hour in the afternoon/ evening too.

One of my best hotel stays for some time. Amazing value for a first class hotel. Brand new, large rooms. Extra large bathrooms with excellent toiletries. Rooms were oversized, almost a suite. The location near Berlin Zoo was very easy to get around Berlin from

One of my favorite properties among the Hilton brands. Once you enter the modern and cozy lobby the Waldorf team will greet and welcome you as you are family already. Everyone is so nice and welcoming. I checked in online with my phone so check in at the hotel was done in just a few minutes. Rooms are huge and super modern with all the gadgets you can imagine. My rooms favorite this time was the heated bathroom floor, which was super comfy especially at this cold November weather. I tried the room service twice this stay and it was so stunning to see how fast and in what a great quality the Waldorf team will serve you. The reason why I always love to return to the Waldorf in Berlin is simply the amazing team which has such an high level of professionally, personality and passion. You can stay in the best five star hotel around the world but if you have a team that is super stressed and not passionate about what they are doing you will never have this "feeling" that you will get when you enter the Waldorf. You can truly feel the happiness here with an real "Berliner" charm. A big thanks to Leandro and the Front Office team for always assisting me during my stay and also I want to mention the Spa and the great team there.

One of the most special hotels I have been in, the quality of service, the pampering rooms, the welcome reception ,the perfect location, the bathroom, all create a perfect experience. I would definitely recommend anyone looking for a luxury hotel to choose it

Faultless in every way , wonderful rooms , great service , special staff , great location Facilities on site were exceptional Would love to have stayed longer . The breakfast was also very nice Would love to stay again

One of the most luxurious hotels I've stayed at in Europe. Wonderful service at every part. The breakfast buffet is especially inspired, in my top 2 breakfast buffets all time (if you know me then you know how meaningful that is). You just can't go wrong staying here if you enjoy the finer things. Rooms were incredible-- beautiful with top notch amenities, particularly the computer connected to the TV. I wish it was a little closer to city center, but it's conveniently next to the zoo and train stop.

I felt perfectly taken care of, outstanding service coming straight from the heart. I enjoyed the entire stay. The breakfast snd concierge service impressed me most, thank you for this amazing experience

the hotel s classy, the service is absolutely great. helpful staff, the concierge is always ready to help and assist. the rooms are big with comfortable beds, great shower and great view. recommended if you want luxury.

New hotel, only couple of years old. So you can expect all the advantages of new branch. Beautiful interior, nice looking wellness area, although only one type of sauna and one steam was little bid disappointment, comparing to other modern hotels in the world. They know, that trendy is at least 3 different types of saunas and other stuff. But on the other hand, this is a business hotel in Berlin, not spa resort in mountains. Breakfast pretty amazing, very well organized. Building superbly located on U bahn and train station, across the street ZOO. Even standard room is beautiful, with SPECTACULAR view if you ask for it and heated floor in the bathroom, as well as bathtub and shower separated. Did not try the restaurants though - Hard Rock Cafe is very close, which was choice number one. Do not use hotel BMW unless you wanna spend 100 EUR.
