We hosted a dinner for clients at this hotel and we were very impressed by the level of service. The meal was very good and the service excellent. The starter of ravioli in bisque was a high point - compliments to the chef. The duck was... duck. It was very nice, but I find duck is fairly predictable. The pudding was not quite to my taste, but it was well presented and perfectly nice. Overall a good experience.
Truly a first-class experience. Anna in breakfast services--Desbrosses--was incredibly kind and exceptional --my friend fell asleep for breakfast and she went out of her way to box up some delicious food for him. She was incredibly sweet and down to earth. And, that's what I experienced throughout my stay. Kind staff, phenomenal service, a caring team. If you're looking for a truly exceptional hotel experience, this is it. Can't wait to visit again!
I have been to Berlin many times to attend to ITB Messe and on other business trips. This time was my best experience thanks to Ritz. They make you so special right from your limo.Lee their front man dressed with colonial outfit offers you the friendliest first impression. Then everyone at reception especially Alexander makes your stay conformable allocating the best rooms and offering hotel info/Berlin tips. The fragrance bar is must do invite for your guests. We had a great time there .The 10th floor Club(exec Floor )is amazing.Marcus and his staff at the Club are the best you can ever imaging to give service beyond expectations.Great food and good wine selection at the Club and everywhere else too The GM at this hotel must be so proud his hotel. If in Berlin Ritz is must at least for a drink but better if you stay
Excellent hotel and service. We stayed 8 nights at the club floor. The food offered at the club lounge was impeccable, they offer breakfast with made to order eggs, lunch, dinner, all day snacks and beverages 24 hours. The service was super friendly and catering for every need. The location is central to all transportation but not evening entertainment. Very difficult to get a room with nice view, so book ahead.
Rooms need upgrading, some areas getting scruffy. The food was not great, had a dry bad burger ,which should be easy to do right.inwould eat out in future. The hotel is in a great location, easy access to everywhere.the staff are really friendly and helpful. Great staff and cocktails.
I stayed at The Ritz on my visit to Berlin. It has a great location and very well appointed rooms. The service is superb at The Front Office and Concierge and the Door Men are extremely helpful. A special mention for Antonella at The Bar; she is very well trained staff member. Keep up the good work.
I visited the Ritz-Carlton with 3 friends for afternoon cocktails on our city break. Though the cocktails were fantastic the service was not of the same standard. I had ordered the same cocktail twice and felt the second one did not taste the same as the first. Instead of following the old service rule of "the customer is always right" I was made feel very uncomfortable for asking for a new cocktail. I was made explain my point to the same waitress twice and the next waitress once before the cocktail was taken from the table. Then when I received the "new" cocktail, the waitress waited at my side as I tasted the cocktail and felt obliged to say it was fine. If I was their manager I would extremely disappointed. But I must say the other cocktails we tried were delicious.
Good hotel, good location, rooms are big and decorated more or less the sale way as other rooms in ritz around the world. Nothing bad to say about the service. I dont mind "friendly american" way of it, but some people can find it a bit over the top.
Everything was first class. Staff called us by name after first meeting and made sure everything was perfect. The housekeeping manager on our floor went out of her way to make sure everything was outstanding with our room. We will be back on our next visit to Berlin.
We had a business reason for travelling to Berlin and we decided to make it a luxurious stay. RC Berlin succeeded to fulfill our expectations. We will certainly come back as soon as we are in Berlin again.
