The rooms are great. Nothing too fancy but they have the basics. No mini fridge. There aren't a lot of parking spots available but we didn't have an issue for most of our stay. It's not close to the attractions but Berlin is a drivable city with great transit. I would stay here again for the price point.
Great place near U bahn and near the city center. Wonderful and clean suits and nice breakfasts. Personnel is friendly. All necessary stuff in the suit was present. Reception helped to buy Berliner card and shown the places to visit and how to get there. If I travel to berlin, I ll definitely stay there ones again.
I stayed at this hotel for 3 nights. I arrived verry late, but someone waited for us at the reception and greeted us appropriately. Every interaction with the staff was just right. I would recommend to anyone with a tight budget.
Loved my stay here in room 002. Francesca booked me in and was there most days of my stay. She was so friendly and got me a spoon and an extra pillow when I asked. The bed was quite comfortable and the room was actually quite quiet considering it was on the ground floor by the road and next to the eating area. I'd definitely stay here again as it was in a safe neighbourhood and it was an easy walk to the nearest underground station. It was also a bargain. Thank you and please pass on my thanks to Francesca.
The Price, location and the dorms are all aligned. For the 6 bed dorm I found the room surprisingly comfortable (mostly the beds) and clean. The breakfast is also good. They should have better WiFi though
We thought we were booking a private hotel room not a hostel dormitory room. I've reread the listing and it looks like it's our fault for misreading it. This is what it said "Room Shared Dormitory, 4 Bedrooms, Private Bathroom (1 Bed) Includes: Free Wireless Internet" but the charge was as follows: Room Price €85.72 2 nights €21.43 /night Extra Guest Fee €42.86 The below was in an explanation box when you clicked on it: "Extra Guest Charge This fee is charged by the hotel when the number of guests in the room exceeds the room's base occupancy (typically 2)." Based on this information we fully expected a private room since they were charging an extra guest fee. But this was not the case. We ended up in a room for 8 & I was the only woman. Unfortunately we arrived at midnight & didn't have the energy to dispute it. But this was definitely not what we wanted.
Basic dorm room, was clean and spacious. Ensuite smelt a bit. Most staff we encountered were friendly. As per other reviews it is 2 tram rides into the main area but no big deal. Only issues, internet was slow, we had to give our key to reception each time we went out.
Rooms nice, bar ok, only had breakfast once and was good. The only problem was with Wifi. to be able to login you will be sent an email which many of us didn't get plus to get the email you'll need to use your own data (being abroad I didn't want to do that) and have only 20 minutes to activate before you get blocked! Staff were pleasant except one who didn't like the fact we were using the bar!
Beautiful nice hotel, clean and tidy. Quiet place, i could hear the birds singing when the window was open ;). Small rooms, but everything you need is there. Just 2 stops with U-bahn from the centre of Berlin. Good breakfast. Nice staff, and 24 hours available. One negative: wifi was very slow or didn't work...
This hotel was just as we expected from reading previous reports. The area is quiet with the added bonus of free car parking. We didn't need to use the car to go into Berlin as the station is only a 5 minute walk away and the longest we waited for a train (they run very frequently) was 6 minutes. The staff are friendly and helpful, nice breakfast buffet with a good variety to suit all tastes and the room clean and comfortable. There's a patio area at the back of the hotel where you can sit and enjoy a nice beer or you can sit inside in the conservatory. When we return to Berlin we will definitely stay here again.
