Sollte mal renoviert werden, ist schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen.

The hotel was very elegant and very well located, near the Memorial Church, with all transportation facilities within walking distance and that made the free transport pass given to us for the length of our stay. Breakfast buffet was splendid and very worthwhile the price. Room and and bedding were very good with some noise from a construction behind the hotel during working hours.

They gave us a room at the very end of two long corridors - had to walk past 30+ rooms to get to ours from the elevator. The WiFi was not operative in our room at all, and we were told to go down to the lobby to use it! Even then, it was pathetically slow. The coffee in the room was instant coffee with a water heater at the Steigenberger on Los Angeles Platz. We also previously stayed at the Steigenberger on Kanzelleri Amt and that was far superior on both the WiFi and coffee aspects/

This is not what I expected in a five star hotel. Service leaves a lot to be desired with long lines at reception. Hotel is aware of its occupancy and should be adequately staffed. Only 2 people at desk at check in & out but there were 4 stations. When I said something at check out the receptionist said oh good idea and maybe I should call one of my colleagues. There is a nice concierge is there sometimes and he can be helpful but any five star hotel people should be checking in seeing if everything is going OK, offering this to show how are things in the room work. Also fitness center is an incredible disappointment and quite frankly one of the reasons I chose this hotel was because it had a fitness center but to see that they only have running machines and bicycles in this huge room with nothing else was really disappointing. No one helped us check in. No bell man available, dragged our own bags from taxi to hotel to room.

Great downtown location with many parking options.

Hotel is close to everything I need on my trip...definitely recommend this hotel and I will come back again.

Great facility, room, ease, comfort, location. A visitor was quite impressed that I was staying there.

Close to Brandenburg gate and Berlin Wall memorial. Felt extremely safe even though in middle of the city. Beautiful hotel. Downside is hotel restaurant very expensive and no free Wifi.

Great location. Clean, spacious. Spa, pool, sauna facility was nice. Shopping close by

Nice hotel. Clean but needs a little TLC. The staff were wonderful. Area is great and safe. Close to all major shopping and metro lines.

The Steigenberger Hotel was beautiful and perfect. The bed was comfortable and large and the pool was amazing. It is filled with water right to the top so it constantly overflows over the rounded sides and then refills with water from vents in the bottom of the pool. And they even give you free metro passes that are valid from the dates of your stay.

Arrived at the hotel very late Thursday night and staying through Tuesday. Hotel is great and is definitely a fantastic value for its price. Three minor comments. 1. Most historical points of interest are closer to the Mitte area, which requires traveling by public transportation (several access points near the hotel and very easy to use) 2. Saturday evening we experienced extra ordinary levels of noise and activity in the room nearby. At 1 AM we called the front desk, and a manager came up to see firsthand the problem, although he understood right away the problem he said he could do very little about it. His only offer was to move us to another room. So in the middle of the night we packed all our belongings and moved to a different room. To be honest despite the quick resolution by the hotel I wasn't some what surprise to see that this convenient action was not accompanied by any further action by the hotel such as an apology or even a small gesture. 3. Within the the first no Internet access was available . The second which was in the center of the hotel had decent access.

Hard to find the hotel for Self traveler . Sign is not noticeable . Front desk people are not friendly .Asked service and didn't get response .

Yhe hotel was wonderful. But it's far away from tourist attractions. It takes 20 euros to go to Brundenberg gate. When I ask staff for direction, she handed me computer print out direction in Germany. Taxi costed to 21 euros to airport.

The Steigenberger is located in a perfect spot in the city. Our check in was very smooth, and when we mentioned that we were on the final night of our honeymoon around Germany, the employee that checked us in gave us a nice upgrade to our standard room. Our stay was great, we walked to the zoo and had an outstanding dinner nearby. A great end to a wonderful trip.

Room was clean, comfortable, and a great location. The room is a little small but thats normal for a hotel in Europe. Friendly staff who are able to handle english speaking guests. Highly recommend.

The hotel couldn't have been better. Large rooms, great location and accommodating staff (with one exception - you find them no and then). We couldn't have asked for better. Truly 5 star. EMW

The location, the equipment of room and access to the Exec. Lounge with equipment for continental breakfast, beverages all day, great appetizers until late at night was extremely userfriendly for us.Sightseeing at our own leisure and eating in any of about 10 directly surrounding restaurants in the neighbourhood made this a perfect stay

Dear Sue Thank you for your recent stay with us and for posting a review via Orbitz. I am very pleased to learn that the hotels location was convenient for you and that you felt safe in the heart of Berlin. At the same time, it surprises me that you mention that we do not provide free WiFi. Therefore, I would like to point out that free WiFi is available everywhere at the hotel. I regret very much if our receptionists did not provide you with the corresponding access (user name and passwort) during check-in. I hope we will get the opportunity to welcome you back to the Steigenberger Hotel Berlin for a second time. Warm regards Gondra Wettley General Manager
